I'd rate this company with no stars but that's not possible unfortunately!
I hired this company to install an ensuite and various other smaller jobs! Thereafter, problems arose with the plumbing, both the ensuite and main toilets constantly backing-up with human waste! Steven sent his "plumber" to fix the issue a couple of times but still the problem remained! I tried unsuccessfully, this time last year, for a few months to tell him the problem had not been solved! I called, emailed, texted and even visited his registered office in person but it was not manned! I eventually got a professional plumber in who told me it was Steen Builders original "plumbing" that was the issue! "Unbelievable" was the word he used to describe the state of their work!! The issue has gone thankfully BUT Steen builders blanked me, left a vulnerable adult who lives in the house in those awful environmentally dangerous conditions, ie smell, unuseable toilet, faeces floating everywhere, it was disgusting! I certainly would not recommend or use the building service again! AWFUL

Unfortunately, Steven from Steen has currently taken over 40k of our money with only 10k of work done, which on investigation is poor and will need to be fixed. We have water waste going out under our main house and the foundations and block work was not done to plan and some will need to be ripped out and the rest will need to be checked. The site was also left in a state. Steven or the contractor have not responded to the necessary repairs and our request for our money back and we have found out that they are now initiating liquidation. A friend of mine also had major problems with the company too. So they have essentially stolen £40K. Avoid any future companies they open up!

After obtaining quotes from several construction companies, we decided to go with this builder for our home renovation project. They offered us a fair price and showed professionalism and friendliness. We entrusted them with renovating our two bathrooms and kitchen, and they did an outstanding job. We would certainly consider hiring them again in the future.

I recently hired Steen Building Services to perform a renovation on my kitchen. They did an absolutely wonderful job - everything was completed on time and to a very high standard. The staff were professional, courteous and knowledgeable, and they went out of their way to ensure that the job was done properly and to my total satisfaction. I'm so pleased with the end result and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for home improvements.
