i love the designs, but i ended up returning one item because the shirts are actually lighter in color in real life. the grey shirt they often use is much brighter than expected, which is why I returned it. it just didn’t suit me. i also sized up twice (i normally wear a size S), and it still wasn’t that oversized. i’d probably go for an XL next time. is the price worth it? yes and no. but look at it this way: when you buy something from Zara or H&M, you're also paying more than what it’s truly worth. at least with this brand you’re supporting a small business.

that said, after a few washes (i wash it inside out and in a laundry bag), i noticed the print started peeling a bit. so i have to be quite careful when wearing it, especially considering the price. but that’s just the nature of vinyl prints. i don’t think it’s entirely avoidable.

also, non-EU customers should stop leaving bad reviews about customs fees. always check where your order is shipping from. do this on any website you're unfamiliar with. it clearly says in their FAQ that they’re not responsible for customs charges (which is standard for most stores lol)

I'd like to preface this by saying I've bought 2 items from this company, both oversized tees. One direct and one from a reputable online retailer. I won't name the retailer as they have made it very clear that Staycold's claim is a "lie" and I am not to claim that they have sold fake items, under threat of legal action.

My first experience with staycold was great. A high quality tee, amazing design, comfortable, a little pricey but it was a premium product. Genuinely my favourite tee (now less so)

My second experience was not so great. I purchased from an online retailer, well known and regarded as being very reputable. This t-shirt had vinyl printing on it, where the other one was just dyed. The vinyl was peeling from day one. The retailer was not very forthcoming, and didn't offer a return or replacement, originally offering £9 (from a £60 order) and eventually budging up to £15 which I was told is the final offer. I accepted as there was no other option. Pretty shady but thats why the story unfortunately continued.

I left a review on Staycold's site, saying that I loved the previous t-shirt but was disappointed by this one. They reached out to me saying they were investigating it and would like my order details to make it right. I told them I had a bad refund from the retailer so I wasn't sure if they could do anything.

They came back very aggressively. Stating that I had "no right" to post my review. And that the product was FAKE. I responded and was met with them again stating that it is a fake product as they do not sell B2B.

The retailer was obviously not happy when I came back to them with this information, and told me their supplier and the high amount they had spent on these goods, threatening legal action if I claimed that they were fakes. They were not very nice, but they were clear. Staycold were very vague and not very helpful. The retailer has now given me a full refund on the t-shirt.

Tldr:
-Staycold has shitty quality on their vinyl printed goods

-Staycold took down my MIXED (not even negative) review of their products

-Staycold claimed a reputable retailer was selling fakes of their products to avoid responsibility

For obvious reasons I do not expect to be buying from them again. Which is a shame as their designs are my favourite and before this I was even recommending the brand to people.

I have to say that I love the designs but the quality isn't worth the money at all. I ordered a few hoodies and had problems with them after the first (!!!) wash. I washed them like it was described inside out. The grim claw hoodie which cost 160€ (!!!) lost parts of the print after the first wash already and another hoodie (had leaves printed all over it) came out totally washed out, ruined the nice look it had before. Printing quality is absolutely bad and also the fit varies even they are all described as "heavy oversized" so the phantom hoodie is way shorter on the back than on the front. Looks kinda stupid.

At the end I think none of the hoodies are worth the prices and none of them are designed to"hold lifelong".

Really cool designs, BUT the quality is BAD + they use colour filters on their website photos/videos and price is very steep.

Would not recommend.

1) Quality - have a staycoldapparel logo on the front of my hoodie, haven’t even washed it yet, it’s peeling off from multiple places.
2) The hoodie had very bright colours on their website, when it arrived, looks like it has been acid washed. Colours are completely off, black actually looks like gray and you get the gist.
3) Price - got this hoodie for whooping 119.- eur plus shipping.

Product reviewed: URBAN PHANTOM - HEAVY OVERSIZED HOODIE (400GSM)

I purchased a hoodie and a pair of shorts, to the value of £131.40, with free shipping.
When delivered to my home address, I had to pay a customs bill of over £67, for VAT and duties
I was not aware of these charges when purchasing the goods, as it does not tell you when paying for the items.
The Company states it outlines the charges on its website, but it does not advise you to check terms and conditions of this when making a purchase.
I realise the charges are made by the British government, but if the company had separated the two items ordered into two separate packages, the purchase would not have encrued customs charges.
As a company, reliant on sales worldwide, they should know that.
I definitely will not be purchasing from a company in the EU again.
The items purchased, although exceptional quality, are not worth £200.
Scince I wrote this review, I checked other reviews and found this is a common event, so the Company knows it happens and sells to customers, not informing them before they sell.
I also had a higher value stated on the UPS invoice. It stated value of goods were £174.28 (actual cost being £131.40).
Something seems totally wrong here!

Bought 4 shirts so far, 3 t-shirts and 1 hoodie and i just love the style and quality of the clothes. Delivery was fast and it arrived before the expected delivery date.
I had no extra delivery fees like others claim. I ordered to Sweden.

Only negative for me is that i wish they had more shirts with prints on the front and not only the back.

Lovely clothes that I can see online but very sneaky with the prices paid over £200 for 2 jumpers and then get a email off UPS saying I have too pay £90 for taxes! Wish they would say this before you spend your money

I love the brand and the values it represents! That being said, beware that you will need to pay an extra upon UPS delivery. My recent order run me a 80$ shirt + 32$ shipping!! (Crazy) + 42 in taxes and brokerage fee upon UPS delivery. That’s an expensive shirt! The quality of the fabric is OK but not near as good as some other brand with much heavier fabric, for the same price. That was a lil disappointing. I was expecting fabric like Essentials shirt for exemple. It’s still good, but for the price?! Not sure I’ll order from them again. That’s too bad because the brand is dope…

Ordered one of the new drop hoodies as I have several of their hoodies and they are amazing quality, warm, cosy and I love the unique prints. Hoodie arrived bobbly and not up to usual quality standard and I was pretty disappointed. However Lara in customer services sorted my query out in a day and I am a happy customer again, can't recommend enough. Only criticism is I wish there was a UK warehouse so I could get my orders quicker :)

saw on their website that there was a buy a jacket get a cap event so i bought one. 2 days later i received a jacket and a cap. unfortunately the jacket didn't fit me so i asked for a bigger size. i sent them everything including the jacket, cap and purchase notice. week later i received my exchange order and funny enough it only had one jacket. the reason they gave was that the cap was no longer in the system. and so i lost the cap which cost 40 euros.
if you are thinking about trying this brand then you should consider it. remember to pay attention to the size and color because it is not exactly the same as in the picture and description. if you think 200 euros for a jacket is normal then go ahead

I love the brand but recently you put the brand's name in big in most t shirt. It looks better when you put a cool design without the brand's name right in the middle of it.

I recently purchased one of their hoodies, but the wrong color was sent by mistake. In the past, dealing with other companies felt like pulling teeth just to get a refund or replacement. However, this brand handled everything flawlessly. I reached out, got a prompt response, and was immediately offered the correct item at no additional cost or a full refund. It’s so refreshing to see a business go the extra mile and not put the burden on the customer to fight for a fair resolution. I’m truly impressed with their customer service and the quality of the hoodie(even if it was the wrong one) and will definitely be shopping with them again!

I don't appreciate the impossibility to cancel an order. I purchased a wrong size, and I would have liked to change the order, but NO, they changed the status as shipped right away and only replied to my cancelation request hours later.
Firstly, they DO NOT state where the parcel will be shipped from.
They have declared the wrong value of goods so UK custom hit me with a custom tax that was 50% of the actual value of the goods. This should be THEIR responsibility to fix but guess what... they won't.
I will have to pay custom, send the items back at my own expense, and then go through HMRC to get a refund of custom charges. Because I read from reviews here that if I refuse the package and send it back, StayCold will play dumb and say they didn't get it back and refuse to refund.
A joke.

Some nice designs but the return process is a joke. I returned a few things that didn't fit in the manner / address they specified and it got held at the post office. They said they can't pick it up from there and it has to be delivered. Like, what? Are you serious? So now I have to try and get the stuff I don't want back and pay for shipping 3x so I'm not out completely hundreds of dollars, I'll just be stuck with some clothes that don't fit and I don't want because you can't bother to go to the post office. Cool.

I've been buying their designed shirts for 5 years now, and i gotta say i can't recommend this place again.
In the last year all the stuff i got were higher in price and lowered in quality dramatically.
The design is wearing off very quickly, and the fabric quality is just horrible for this price's.
(Again i still have things 2-4 years ago and the quality bar is so much higher i don't know what changed but it's for the worse.

I have around 15 hoodies, 20 Shirts and 5 pair of socks from this brand. I ordered the wallet from them and other accessoires. Overall the quality was good the last years but I also thrifted some of these items. I have Shirts back from 2016 Collections which are still holding up great. But the prices on the website recently are insane honestly why I am not ordering there anymore directly. Overall if you have the money its a good brand. I have never been scammed and recieved everything within days.
BUT this is a GERMAN brand. To all the people writing negative reviews because you have to pay a big amount of taxes especially from the UK: you import this. UK and brexit? Of course you will pay taxes and really high taxes on expensive orders. please use your brain.....

On November 10th 2024 I purchased 2 items from this company which cost £161 as a gift for my son for Christmas. 2 days later I received an email from UPS saying there was £72 to be paid on receipt of this parcel the following day
UPS attempted to deliver the parcel on the following day to which I refused to pay the £72 even the delivery guy said he wouldn't pay this !! Since this time I have been chasing the company for a refund and they are saying they have not received the parcel back to them.
At no point of purchase was i informed of this extra cost as I would not have purchased in the first place.

Greedy company that doesn't post items with the correct labels because they don't want to pay for the correct shipping even though other brands do?? I got hit with an £80 custom fee on an already expensive order because they want the customer to pay what they should be paying, it wouldn't cost them much but cost me £80 which is disgusting to be honest and I won't be shopping with a company like this again.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Stay Cold Apparel for years and own three other hoodies from them. They’ve always been thick, high-quality, and built to last—I’ve had them for 3–4 years with no issues. Unfortunately, the Ghostface Heavy Oversized Hoodie doesn’t live up to those standards.

The images online were heavily edited, making the colours appear much more striking than they are in reality. The stark light greys and deep blacks in the photos are just washed-out shades of grey in person. While the hoodie still looks decent, it’s nowhere near as impressive as advertised.

Considering the hefty price tag of £135 plus a surprise import tax of £63, I expected much better quality and for the product to match the images online. At £198 total, this hoodie is a real disappointment.

Due to the important tax I won't be returning it but I am extremely hesitant to order from them again which is a real shame.
