The staff here were very nice, and they managed to get me in pretty quickly. They had excellent customer service and I picked up my glasses about a week and a half later.
Waited over an hour past appointment time. Virtual doctor told me I'd be better off seeing an in-person doctor. Very expensive prescription still needs adjustment. My DMV form did not get filled ou... See more

Disappointed about advertising 2 for $79.00 but the sales person said they were not offering glasses at this price anymore, new CEO is changing this offer, mentioning they still have this offer on the website and on their building.
Despite advertising low prices, my total for 2 pairs of glasses was over $400. They charged me for two extra services in my exam that no one asked me about. You do not ever see a doctor. Your exam is done via zoom with a technician that has very minimal training. When my glasses came in the prescription was wrong. Wearing the glasses made me dizzy. I compared the new prescription to my old one and they made one eye much stronger and one eye much weaker. I returned the glasses. The manager argued with me the whole time. They gave me money back for my glasses but not for my eye exam even though the eye exam was the main thing that was wrong.
Appointment was easy to make and office visit went quick. However, my prescription is not better than my previous one. I don’t like the virtual doctor.
I do not like the virtual optometrist nonsense. If I'm not worth having a doctor there in person, then you're not worth getting my money again. The assembly line of medicine is not for me.
Honestly, if I could have you given no stars I would have. I came in for an eye exam the very beginning of March. I received one pair of my glasses at the same day. I immediately realized that the glasses did not seem right so I brought them back and expressed my concerns. They got me scheduled for another eye exam. That was on March 30. It turns out that the prescription from the first eye exam was not correct so they needed to redo my glasses. But here it is April 14 and I have yet to receive my glasses or an update on them. At this point I really am ready to just request a refund from everything and go elsewhere.
This place is incredibly expensive. The lady who assisted me was completely unhelpful. Since it was my first time there, I was unaware of the price deals or any other information. I felt like I was being ripped off. I strongly advise against visiting this establishment.
I normally get my glasses from the VA for free but that would mean taking a day off. This was a great choice.

The store didn't have my contact lens in stock for me to try. I was told that "we don't do that anymore. " They said that they give a sample along with the prescription all at once. When I picked the contact lens up, I was not shown how to insert or remove the lens from my eyes. I was given a contact lens case nor a sample size of the solution. This was not the best experience I have had with Stanton.

I received outstanding customer service from Elizabeth Sullivan at Stanton Optical—she truly went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of every step of the way. Her professionalism, patience, and genuine willingness to help made my entire experience smooth, pleasant, and memorable.
I called to ensure that my insurance was taken there and the lady told me yes and made an appointment for the same day. I had my exam and then when it was time to pick my glasses I was told my insurance want not taken there and that I had to pay out of pocket. Why wasn’t I told this at the beginning of the process when they asked for my insurance card.

I don't feel this is an honest business. I've noticed over many years that they just make up prices if you have insurance. I started doing tests to see, and after they told me the lowest price possible, I said my HSA only had $200 less than their "lowest price" and magically the price was lowered to what I had. How nice of them right? Wrong. They literally charge the most they think you will pay. Worst part is I didn't pick up my glasses for 4 months because I was so frustrated, and they didn't care or contact me because they already got my money, so they didn't care if I ever pick them up. After 10 years I'm done with Stanton.
