Shady spammer

Favorite mass spam provider for all the shady scammers out there. Doest not react at all to abuse reports, so clearly has no problem serving criminals

Ordered on Aug 3rd 2025. Cost of $54.78. Today is Dec 9th and I have never received my order or a refund. Terrible business practices. Should be booted off both Facebook, and Google and prevented from jumping in when placing an order on genuine site.

Unprofessional & Useless Support – Avoid SparkPost & Messagebird

If I could give 0 stars, I would. My account has been blocked for over a week due to a billing error caused by SparkPost, and they still haven’t fixed it.

They don’t have 24/7 support, and the limited hours they do offer are completely useless. No urgency, no ownership, no professionalism. They even told me the issue was resolved when it wasn’t.

I even reached out to MessageBird, their parent company, but still no resolution. This shows how careless and unaccountable they are as an organization.

The truth is simple: they DON’T care about you or your business. For a company handling critical email infrastructure, this is unacceptable.

Stay away if you don’t want to face issues in Production later.

Developers beware

Developers beware, they will suspend your account based on “suspicion” with no communication. They broke the emails in our production environment due to “suspicion” that we were scraping email addresses, we do not scrap emails and all are manually entered by our clients. We have been in business with them for SIX YEARS. We immediately tore out their infrastructure and replaced in with a competitor.

Constant spam. Fools for honeypot traps. Tries different addresses, like, {random name}@mydomain.com. I've blocked all emails sent from sparkpostmail.com's server/s and I suspect many others have done so, too. If you want your mail to reach your client's inbox then I advice staying well clear from SparkPost.

My account got disabled because I had a credit card that declined payment to them and i fixed the credit card problem and couldn't get any assistance to get our account going again. I sent numerous emails and they don't have any way to contact them via chat or phone, so save your time and money and go elsewhere. This is terrible service.

Disappointing experience after thorough research

We spent a significant amount of time researching and comparing different transactional email providers before choosing SparkPost. Based on the information available on their website, it seemed like a solid choice. The free plan had no subaccount limits, which made it an attractive option for our needs.

However, after upgrading to a paid plan to increase our sending capacity, we discovered that subaccount limits do apply to paid plans—a crucial detail that was not clearly communicated upfront. Had we known this earlier, we would not have upgraded.

When we addressed this with customer support and requested a refund, they flat-out refused, despite the fact that we had barely used the service. It wasn’t about the $75, but about the principle of transparency and fair customer treatment.

While the platform itself seemed promising, our experience with SparkPost left us disappointed. Poor communication and inflexible customer service make it a frustrating choice for transactional email. We’re glad we didn’t commit further.

DO NOT USE

I don't even know what happened, they just terminated my account without saying anything, no email, no message, NOTHING. Then i wake up one day and nobody is able to signup on my app or reset their password. Hundred of $ of loss here. I lost a good amount of customer because of this shady company.

Use something else, it's not worth it. Oh yeah, and they still charged me. Of course...

We barred them! They need to clean their act up!

Over a long period we've frequently noted .sparkpostmail.com as the sender host for persistent spammers... which tells us the 'service' is basically unpoliced; undermining the credibility of legitimate users! This has been getting worse in the last year or so!

- So frequent is the annoyance that we now BAR all email which has the string .sparkpostmail.com in any header via a Cpanel filter!

I'd think twice about using this 'service' unless you want to find your messages trashed along with the Nigerian Princes, 'one weird tricks' and shonky viagra sales.

Absolute garbage company

Absolute garbage company! How the heck do we stop spam from your servers? I'm getting sick of my email address and details being passed around (violating GDPR) from one spammer to the next, all helped along by this bunch of cowboys.

No way to contact the company

We have been a customer for a while but haven't use the service for some time. Now I would like to cancel subscription but it's impossible as there is no way of contacting them without creating a ticket (and I can't login). These types of services just make you furious.

Sparkpost & MessageBird are irresponsibles

Sparkpost & MessageBird are irresponsibles with their account suspension, they don't care about the impact they can produce to the customers, and they don't care about the service. They cut our service because they didn't answer to more than 25 emails and 15 tickets we opened to inform that we need the payment information which they changed when moved from Sparkpost to MessageBird. They responded 6 months latter with wrong information delaying more and more the payment, but then they cut the service. It is the worse service I have ever received.
