The class was pretty good, I would have liked a little more hands on practice during the initial demonstration to help retain the instructions, but in general a good class, great facilities!
Got this as a present for a southern girl who relocated for love. She misses home, so the first chance we got, we sent her the Heritage basket. She loved it and took pictures of what it looked like.... See more
I have found the last two hands on classes wasteful of time. I will only attend non hands on from now on unless targeted for more advanced cooks. A long lesson in cutting onions, for instance, wasn't... See more

Everything from candies, tea, beer, hot sauce, and ways to decorate your kitchen or equipment for making a roast. This is not a quick stop kind of place. You need to have at least an hour to go through everything and that might be not enough time. Very busy on weekends, especially if UNC is playing at home. Weekdays are the best times to go.
The best salt & pepper peanuts ever! going for the can # 4!
Really grateful to Southern Season for truly off the charts customer service and for creating something so special for my friend and hand-delivering it to her.
Had exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price. Fast shipping, excellent packaging.
My daughter loves the cooking classes for kids. She has a great time and always learns something new.
My first experience with Southern Season and it was excellent! Product came intact and in a very timely matter to my home! I would deal with their company again.
Always have had good service and delivery when ordering on-line from Southern Season.
Thanks,

I have enjoyed all the cooking classes that I have attended.

Although I still miss the original store and all its offerings
Although I was extremely disappointed in the way the company handled its own mismanagement, declaring bankruptcy and putting so many of their vendors in jeopardy
I continue to recommend this company for the classes and the restaurant and I have always received very good customer service.
The products I ordered were delivered in a timely manner and are of exceptionally good quality.
We made french macaroons... they did not turn out....seems like the recipe was not tried in advance...disappointing..that was why I went to the class.

We have attended numerous of these events and have always had a good experience. We do think the price is now at its limit to be a good value for the amount of food we get.
I have taken at least twenty cooking classes at Southern Season Cooking School over the past three years. I have not been disappointed - ever!
The three or four course meals the staff and chefs prepare are always so
interesting and with the wine parings I feel that it's a wonderful and affordable experience. I have learned many new techniques and tips at the classes. I have been a home cook for over 50 years and have learned, with their help, to think out of the box and try new things. Everyone there is wonderful and I feel very relaxed and welcomed. I'm always looking forward to seeing what guest chefs will be coming each quarter. Keep up the good work!
The folks at Southern Season are wonderful and helpful at the cooking school. Even for allergy issues.
Multiple speciality ingredients make this cooking out of my league, but class was interesting & fun
