Very bad and disappointing shopping experience.
I placed an order and received an official order confirmation, while the item was clearly shown as available on the website. Several days later, I was suddenly informed that the item was sold out. This kind of late cancellation is unacceptable.
I contacted customer service by email in advance and clearly mentioned that this order was a gift needed urgently for the weekend, but this was completely ignored. When I followed up, I received only generic, copy-paste explanations instead of accountability or a real solution.
Their online chat is handled only by an AI system and offers no real support. Emails are answered very late, if at all. Instead of admitting poor communication and slow handling, they try to justify it with cliché explanations about “technical issues” and “limited availability.”
The credibility of an online shop is based on customer satisfaction, transparency, and responsiveness. Unfortunately, s.Oliver failed in all of these areas.
I strongly advise other customers to be cautious before ordering from this website, especially if the order is time-sensitive or intended as a gift.
