James in hove branch was smart. Knowledgeable patient especially when I was trying to do it online with him helping I finally went to The Sofology Shop and James was there again to guide me through his sense of humour and we concluded my sale very satisfactory.

We bought a large luxury powered reclining 4 seater corner, because our bottoms are worth it.. and we opted for the extended insurance to cover everything for risk free life.
£4,000 in and little under a year later and we noticed the corner seat was starting to lack any real support, meaning you’d sit down and your knees were higher than your bum, and it was uncomfortable to use. Then the motorised recliner locked while fully extended.. we called the insurance, but it’s still under warranty, so went back to Sofology.. they sent us a new motor, as it’s a common fault, and told us to call them when it turned up. We did, and an engineer came out to install it, but it turned out to be the switch. When we asked them about the corner seat, he said yeah, that’s the cushions, they do that..
We went back to sofology and they said nope, a seat you can’t use doesn’t fall under the warranty or insurance, and we would need to pay for an independent sofa inspector to find fault before they would even entertain it as a problem.
Short version, don’t buy expensive sofas from sofology, or how we now refer to them sofa-saggy.
They are great in the store, but the sofas don’t last the warranty, and then they won’t honour it anyway. We’re now off to the sofa obsadman, asking if the sofa you buy to sit on can’t be sat on, does it still meet the sales description?

Fantastic staff, I think the name of the one that helped us was Polly, couldn't of been better. She showed us a sofa after I'd told her what we were after, and we bought it, it was EXACTLY what we wanted. Nice instore atmosphere, I hope Sofology give the staff the appropriate praise Cheers Polly.

We had a great visit to the Hove branch where Polly really helped us make the right decision. We were looked after and it was a very relaxing shopping experience. There's alot of decisions to make and you need to feel that you are being looked after in an unhurried environment. Great job Polly.
