I wasn't sure about this site at first, but the Trustpilot reviews convinced me. We sold our sofa and ottoman in just a couple of weeks with Sofalistic, after unsuccessful attempts on all the other well known marketplaces. The experience couldn't have been easier or more convenient. The professional pickup and delivery service, combined with the electronic transfer of payment between buyer and seller, make Sofalistic a no-brainer. I've recommended to several friends already.

Was a little nervous about ordering like this for the first time but no need. The sofa was exactly as detailed. Feels like getting a brand new sofa but for a fraction of the cost. I would 100% recommend.

The process of buying a second hand sofa was straightforward, the delivery guys were very courteous and helpful when delivering the sofa, all that was 5 star. I have given three stars because the 'tan leather sofa costing over £2k when new' was obviously faux leather, which was a disappointment. I accepted the buyers description, the photos made it look good, but I was caught out. I would suggest you ask all the relevant questions before committing and save the dialogue just in case you need to make a claim.

Impossible to get hold of once your order falls outside of the normal system. No one answers the phone and when I raised a dispute, the initial mail was responded to with a standard response and we have had no further responses since despite mailing and calling every day.

Really impressed. Sold my sofa quickly and other than a slight delay in my collection time on the day (had excellent communication from the team so I was aware), everything went really smoothly and I wouldn’t hesitate to use again. I’m so pleased I found this site, it is a great concept and well executed.

A suitable collection date was given and the driver arrived within the time zone and they securely packaged it up in the van.
We where notified how much of the selling price we would recieve if sold and we were very pleasantly supprised considering all the work was done for us.
It was sold, and we were paid out when the buyer had received the items and was satisfied.
We ARE using Soferlistic again.

I sold my sofa through Sofalistic and the collection process was smooth. The item was collected on 28 January and delivered to the buyer on 12 February.

At the time of writing my initial review, I had not received confirmation of delivery completion or a clear payment release date, and communication felt limited.

Update: Payment has now been received and the transaction has been completed successfully. While clearer and more proactive communication around payment timelines would have been appreciated, I thank the team for resolving the matter.

I ordered a sofa on 1st of Feb, I was informed it was collected on 9th of Feb and I would hear about a delivery date within 48 hours. It is now 13th of Feb and I have still had no contact from the service about the sofa. I have raised two tickets and had no response.

It is frustrating to not have any communication, or any phone number to contact. I'm currently a lot of money out of pocket and so far have no update if or when I will recieve the sofa I bought almost two weeks ago.

I needed to sell my sofa and came across this site. I decided to trust it, and it was worth it. I listed my sofa and sold it in just one day. The delivery process was fast, and I was able to choose the collection date.

One thing to note is that I didn’t receive a call to confirm the time slot as the process established, but after emailing them, they replied very quickly with the information. The team picked up the sofa and wrapped it securely in no time. Another thing to keep in mind is that it can take 1–2 weeks for the sofa to be delivered to the buyer — in my case, it took 10 days from collection.

The only improvement I’d suggest is more communication, such as email updates on how the process is progressing. That said, the FAQs on the website are useful, and I’ve already recommended the service to friends. Also worth noting: the platform keeps 20% of the sale.

Great idea, in theory, and offering delivery is the main selling point over something like Facebook Marketplace (where you can sell for free). BUT the site settings leave a lot to be desired, and the messaging system is even worse. List an L-shape sofa and you can enter length, width, depth only. That’s not enough for an item that has six different dimensions to be accounted for. Then when a potential customer messages you with questions, the only option is to respond using one of their pre-formed answers, which does not answer the actual question, gives no option to explain the actual answer, and is a clipped response which will often be read as rude. If I was a shopper and I received the messages I’ve been forced to reply with, I wouldn’t be buying either. Funnily enough the “sale within days not weeks” that they promise hasn’t materialised. They also give no advice on best practice - how exactly are you claiming these sellers sold so quickly? What do they do differently? There should be advice on that, but no.

After my initial 1 star review it appears that the message/contact system has been changed and I've now had responses from the help centre. The original enquires I had made were for sofas that must have been sold without being updated, they have since been removed from the site. I have bought a sofa but have yet to go through the delivery process, so for now have improved the review to four stars.

I ordered my sofa on the 21/1/26, I was informed it was collected from the seller on 29/1/26. I haven’t recieved the sofa, nor have I had the follow up call that is promised within 72 hours of collection. There is no customer service number so I have raised two complaints via email. The promise of a ‘quick delivery’ does not match up and I am very frustrated with how poor communication has been. I would not recommend this service.

I’ve seen a sofa set on their site and sent messages asking if they would sell one piece only and then confirming I’m still interested and today another message asking if anyone reads the messages.
Don’t think I will deal with them if this is their customer service
