Great customer service, product

I bought a sofa and loveseat here, and I got great customer service in the Edmonton west end location. The product is also really good. It's been a couple of years now, and it's still holding up well. I just went there today because we are now looking for more furniture, and again the customer service was excellent.

Sofaland does not care about customer satisfaction

We purchased a $12,000 custom leather sectional at Sofaland South Edmonton that ended up being too firm to sit on and discovered after the fact that Sofaland does not allow exchange or return on custom orders for any reason. We were not informed up front by the salesperson. When we called, the customer service manager told us to flip over our store receipt where the policy is written! We definitely would not have made this purchase had we been made aware of this policy up front. No one has $12,000 to throw away on furniture they can’t use. This is a shady company who obviously doesn’t care whether or not the customer is happy after the purchase, after you’ve paid, you cease to exist, as far as customer service goes.

Shysters

Ordered from Amazon not realising I was ordering from sofaland,Absolute joke of a company! Didn't deliver on time! And didn't deliver what we ordered! Amazon need to ditch this joke company for the sake of their own reputation, please do yourselves a favour and order absolutely nothing from these shysters!

Biggest rip off going

Biggest rip off going. Left them a poor review on Amazon due to quality of sofa and distorted ,odd size cushions. After trying to contact them many times with no reply until.they saw the review. Contacted me to say all issues would be resolved if I deleted review. So I did and guess what. No reply and just ignoring me. Dispute taken up with Amazon now, so let's hope they sort it for me. They can have the sofa back . Absolutely disgraceful and unprofessional.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THESE SCAMMERS. SOFA DOESN'T EVEN LOOK LIKE ON ADVERTISED.!!!

Shirley Sofa Land South Common is awesome!

The best experience ever at Sofa Land South Common yesterday. Shirley was absolutely amazing, totally engaged in helping us either then or later. No pressure whatsoever, how refreshing on our furniture hunt. She knew her stuff, and checked if in any doubt which we really appreciated. Shirley we will be back! Thank you for everything you did for us.

I went to the Calgary NE store..Gary ..The Manager Gary is not just a bad sales person.. he is a bad human being...Offensive in every way...how is someone like that even employed by this company. Sofaland NE....Horrible human being

SHOP LOCAL

Now a days everyone says shop local, support local businesses. SOFA LAND Calgary is one local business that I will not support.

Went in on a whim looking for a floor lamp for my home theater room. Was lucky enough to find one that matched my decor & asked the sales representative twice if not three times how much the item was. She went & looked the item up in her book & quoted $429 plus tax. That was an acceptable price & asked the sales representative to write up the order. Should have been a simple transaction! But the agreed price of $429, suddenly jump $70 to $499 plus tax. Unfortunately the transaction ended there, Sofa Land Calgary would not honor the quoted price & wouldn't even split the difference at $464.

Generally a reputable dealer honors a quoted price or at minimum works with the purchaser to adjust the price somewhat. Not the case with SOFA LAND Calgary.

I do to support local businesses & will in every instance if they have the product I want. There plenty of excellent, honest & stand behind the price quoted furniture stores. Unfortunately SOFA LAND Calgary is one local business I can't support & I encourage the public to do the same.

Abysmal firm

Ordered over £700 pounds worth of furniture told it would be delivered Sun between 12:00 and 20:00.
No delivery received can't contact delivery people and eventually got the normal pathetic customer service reply " we can deliver another day".
Obviously it's a firm with low standards and fails to keep up with them.
Notice as well there's no posts from customers available on the site, obviously heavily censored I.E deleted.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!
They have more bad reviews than they do good and that should of put me off from the off but I was ordering for someone else.
Told me a delivery day and said I would get a call with a time on the day well I got nothing no call no message nothing I tried ringing and all it does is go straight through to voicemail I’ve messaged and got nothing it’s a good job you don’t have to pay till you supposedly get the sofa.. Wouldn’t recommend at all they are time wasters.

This is the worst company ever to…

This is the worst company ever to purchase from. I had two members of my family purchase from them. My sofas were taken to the dump within a year, before I even had them paid. Anyhow I would advise nobody go near this company to purchase ANYTHING

I purchased a corner sofa along with…

I purchased a corner sofa along with insurance from this company. After a week the wood inside broke and nails were sticking out. I called them, after several phone calls I was told they would send a specialist to look at it but if the fault was mine I would have to pay for the specialist. The specialist came came and they inventually gave me another sofa. After a couple of months that sofa also broke and the so called leather began to peel away. I tried to contact them on several occasions as I had purchased the five (5) year insurance. I've not received any reply.

Rubbish company rubbish products and after sales …

Bought a three and two seater sofa from sofa land in Warrington thinking it was leather. After one year it began to lose it's colour I contacted them but never heard back. When they delivered it they just dumped it on the doorstep saying they didn't have to take it into the property and hadn't got time anyway. It began to rain and we had to ask a neighbour to help us to get it into the house. I am not surprised they have gone into liquidation. An expensive lesson learnt I will always buy from a more reputable company in future.

After buying a two setter reclining…

After buying a two setter reclining sofa that we had it for 6 months and then the arm was falling off they charged us £50 for someone to come out and they told us it was our fault for sitting on it. We then took the sofa to the tip and then had to get a new one from else were so people be ware do not buy anything from this firm as their after sale`s leaves a lot to be disired

The whole experience was great

The whole experience was great! Sales team awesome.... But the greatest was the delivery guys. A blizzard hit here hard the day our sofa was to be delivered. A call was made by Mike informing me it may have to be rescheduled. Of course we understood. 15 Minutes later we received a call from one of the delivery drivers that they would arrive in 15 -20 minutes. On time and delivered! Professional setup and courtesy. Thank you Team Sofa Land! Couch is beyond comfortable!

Worst customer service ever- could have …

Worst customer service ever- could have bought a better product at Walmart ( dining set - paid almost 4000$ ) (CUSTOM) finish peeling and anything that comes into contact with surface scratches the finish) customer service said it was normal wear and tear - table isn’t even a year old and looks 10 years old. Absolute junk!! . Specifically asked the sales person for durable table as we have children and wanted a set to last. Customer service told me the sales people usually don’t know the fine details about the products .. lol Will never go here again or recommend this KONTO custom furniture or sofa land store to anyone. Garbage

Absolutely shocking!

Absolutely shocking! Paid nearly a grand for a roma recliner and chair that has now gone in the bin because the leather was that bad itpeeled all.over the sofa and chair. I took out insurance and even the insurance were ahocked at the lack of leather on the sofa no refund or able to fix as the insurance told me it was wear and tear ! Fuming

Massive mistake ordering sofas from this company

I ordered sofas and a bed frame. They delivered after 6 months of chasing. The sofa turned up looking nothing like what I was expecting. I returned the sofas back in February 2016 and they never credited my account. The bed frame is now also broken. As they clearly knew they were going into liquidation I will be taking legal action against the director before he tries to set up another business. Absolutely disgusted with the way they have treated people, they should be allowed to get away with this. If anyone wants to know the directors please look at companies house.
