I agree with many of the other complaints about Snapchat. I worked hard to get followers, after countless times reporting unsolicited pictures and or creepy accounts nothing was really done. They lock... See more

Gna stop using this
Gna stop using this. They’re ask is to pay £10.99 for subscription or they’ll delete our memories. Lost trust in this app because they are my valuable memories. They have now removed time stamps that we used to have to make us get the subscription this app was my favourite but it’s gone absolutely crap now

Unprofessional support and unresolved email change issue
I’ve been trying for days to change my email address on my Snapchat account, but the app keeps rejecting the change due to a technical issue on their side.
I contacted Snapchat Support multiple times and clearly explained that the problem is not from my end. I was told to wait 48 hours and try again, which I did, but the issue still persists. Now I’m being told again to “try in a few days” with no real solution or manual intervention.
This is not professional support. Repeating the same generic response while ignoring the actual technical problem is frustrating and wastes the user’s time. If an app update prevents users from managing basic account settings like changing an email address, then support should be able to fix it manually.
What’s worse is that support responses are slow, vague, and dismissive, giving the impression that the user is being delayed rather than helped.
I expect Snapchat to either:
• Manually update the email address, or
• Clearly explain what is blocking the change and how long it will realistically take to fix.
Until then, this feels like poor customer service and bad user experience for a major tech company.
their support team is a load of garbage.
their support team is a load of garbage.
I hate to even say that but it is true. I am trying to recover an account that has an error message every time I try to log in. "Too many attempts" But I can't tell you the last time I even tried to log in?? I email snapchat support, I give them proof that it is my account, which always leads to "We won’t be corresponding any further to this conversation." Well, can you at least tell me why you are unable to help me? They will not. Ever. Almost like they just don't want to do their job. I am truly starting to believe the emails I am recieving from "Support" are all automated. I have emailed countless of times and get the same message every time. I promise you I am not giving up until I get my account back.
Horrible app
Won’t even let me sign in because it says due to failed log in attempts your access to snapchat has been disabled, fix your app
Snapchat wants to start charging us…
Snapchat wants to start charging us money to save photos and videos. Never will I or anyone should pay for this when its been free for past 5 years. We will just go back to using our cameras ... money hungry clowns
Lost 6 years of memories
Lost 6 years of memories. I can provide all the information for the account and they still will not work with me to get me logged in. I am so beyond disappointed. Even Instagram and Facebook has better customer service. I will never use Snapchat again.

Easily one of the best messaging applications out there. The concept of “streaks” is so great! I like it because I get to stay in touch with my loved ones, without necessarily texting everyday. Great app all round!
Snapchat has betrayed its users — all for greed
I have been using Snapchat for years, saving precious memories of my life, moments I will never get back. And now, just like that, all those memories could disappear because Snapchat decided that our lives are not worth keeping unless we pay for them. Years of photos, videos, memories, gone — just because they want money. I can’t afford it, and yet they are punishing me for living my life and trusting their platform.
The greed doesn’t stop there. Every few seconds, another ad pops up, disrupting conversations, disrupting stories, disrupting every moment. I’ve used other platforms where ads are once at the beginning or end — here, it’s relentless, invasive, aggressive, constantly reminding us that Snapchat only cares about money. They want to extract every penny, every click, every memory we hold dear.
This isn’t just about storage. It’s about how they treat their users. Years of shared moments, laughs, milestones — all for profit, profit, profit. Every 10 seconds, another ad, another reminder: we exist to make Snapchat richer. Every update, every policy, another layer of greed.
I trusted Snapchat. I spent years on Snapchat. And now, I feel betrayed, helpless, and angry. This isn’t innovation — this is exploitation. This is a platform trapping users, monetizing our past, and forcing us to pay to keep what we created.
I wish I could warn everyone: if you care about your memories, if you care about your time, if you care about a platform that values people over profit — don’t trust Snapchat. They’ve made it clear: our lives, our memories, our trust — mean nothing unless it’s profitable.
I’m heartbroken, I’m furious, and I’m begging Snapchat to understand: we are humans, not wallets.

Snapchat recently banned me after having my account since 2017. I did nothing wrong, the automated ai locked over my account and supposedly said it was in violation of community guidelines.
I will never use this service again
I will never use this service again. I got banned for selling airsoft stuff while drug dealers and OF contents run riots on the app. Embarrassing pedo service 👍🏻
It's Theft.
Snapchat said our streak expired when it hadn't just to get money. There is no support for this. There is no chat option, help desk, anything. If this happens again, we're going to stop using the app entirely.
Snapchat used to be so good..
Snapchat used to be so good... I'm sure it was gen z's preferred communication back in the day. Now its full of ads and influencers and I had to turn notifications off because they'd send me notifications begging me to open the app and then notifications with ads and having to open ads... No thank you. Also moving to a subscription to keep your memories? Snakey business. I exported all of mine and will delete the app.
Privacy cannot be guaranteed.
Annoys with too many notifications.
lost memories
I truly love the app i’ve had it for quite a while. However this past week has been quite frustrating as someone was using my number to get in and did abusive stuff and i tried to remove them and removed myself. my account is permanently locked all my memories from highschool and to now are gone my chat history gone. I have emailed them and they will not look into it. I was hacked by someone I felt unsafe by and they chose to lock and ban my account because of a misclick. They have thrown away memories upon memories of mine. now they told me to stop contacting them on my issue and it can not be resolved. Dahlia and Olivia didn’t look into my account and didn’t give me the option to appeal my account due to a misclick from someone who had my number. Riley offered to look into it before Dahlia turned her down.
