Love these gates
Love these gates. We still have one from 10 years ago. Our 2 young kids and dogs are sometimes rough on the gates and they take the abuse well. These gates are well made and stand the test of time. Worth the extra money for something made in the USA.

This is such a helpful product
This is such a helpful product. We have a very small house, so huge obtrusive baby gates are out of the question. I needed something to keep the baby in and the dogs out. This gate is great! Make sure to set it right above your baseboard, it won't work correctly if you don't have a level wall to work with. It is very strong and gets opened and closed all day with no issues.

Ease and peace of mind
I never thought I would leave a review for a safety gate, but here I am. This gate just brings ease and peace of mind to my family. This gate is strong (as tested out by my 3yo and 1yo), not a total eye sore and easily retracts out of the way when not in use. We have two huge staircases with odd openings, one being 70". This gate is very flexible as to how it can be installed and works in nearly any opening.

Great product! Worked exceptionally well for an irregular application. Cannot speak to durability, hoping it holds up well to toddler and pets. Would definitely purchase again.

Good product keep dogs from upstairs
This is a good product it is difficult to hook sometimes going up the stairs it also sometimes does not roll up straight.

This is a great extra barrier for our…
This is a great extra barrier for our two high energy dogs in the hall by our front door. We just moved in to a new house and needed some way to make sure the dogs don’t go through the front door by accident especially since we live across from a small park. We also like having a small area for visitors to enter into with the dogs on the other side of the gate. The dogs have time to cool down a bit before greeting people. We are training them to leave visitors alone but it’s a work in progress!
Make sure to lock the gate at all times!!!! One time we left it unlocked and our German Shepherd dog managed to crawl over it when visitors came...the fabric does not stay taut unless you lock it!
We wanted something less obtrusive than a regular dog gate and the white blends into the walls and floor and provides less visual clutter.
One suggestion to the design folks... is there a way to design the latches so the screw holes are vertical and both screws go into the 2x4?

We have wooden stairs (no carpet) and were afraid for our 2 yr. old grandson. We couldn't let him out of sight for a moment. Since installing the Smart Retract system, we have had much greater peace of mind. The tension is too strong for him to unhook it, even in the "unlock" position. We keep it "locked," however, just to be sure. It was easy to install and is made of quality materials. Worth every penny!

Love the Smart Retract: very well-designed and manufactured.
Love the Smart Retract. Is easy to install and very effective in keeping my puppy contained when required. It is great that I can see her through the mesh and she me without there being wooden or metal pieces for her to munch on. The mesh is very strong - she has thrown herself at it occasionally and just bounces back gently. Very excellent product.
The customer service also is excellent. I called the company to ask a few questions and they were very pleasant, responsive and informative. They have the most secure paywall I have ever encountered. If you don't enter your address exactly as it is with your credit card company (e.g. don't enter Avenue if the card has your address as Ave) your order will be rejected. Very reassuring.
Delivery was very rapid. I'm thrilled that I found this company and product. Finally the instructions come with a lot of detail for installation if this is to be used as a baby gate. The company clearly takes safety very seriously.
Highly recommend.
