when you pay 500 kr
when you pay 500 kr. for example for gasteronomi, resturants are very limited in variety. For example sushi shops are only offering one option to choose. you pay the same money but you limit yourself to few options. It is much better to give the same money but people can choose. really limited options for the same money

Dansk: Købte et gavekort (3 dages ferie plus middag) til min kæreste i julegave.
Da vi så bestiller hotel skal vi betale over 400kr ekstra for at leje værelset plus vi INGEN middag fik…
Ellers skulle man droppe den ene dag for at få middag med, eller betale virkelig mange penge for middag hvor man kan tage ud og spise selv for det halve…
Virkelig dårlig stil… især når gavekortet hedder 3 DAGES FERIE PLUS MIDDAG!

Man kunne næsten leje værelset plus OGSÅ FÅ MIDDAGEN til samme pris hvis vi ikke købte igennem Smartbox..
Jeg havde også fået et gavekort (middag for 2)… man får så kun middag til gavekortets værdi og da vi så skulle booke bord på en restaurant så skulle vi betale 250kr ekstra, og så fik vi kun mad for 400kr selvom gavekortet var på 250kr plus de 250kr vi gav oveni… ALDRIG KØB VED SMARTBOX!.
Dog var hotellet hyggeligt og vi fik nogle gode dage men til sindssyge priser…
English: Bought a gift card (3 days holiday plus dinner) for my boyfriend as a Christmas present.
When we then book a hotel, we have to pay over DKK 400 extra to rent the room plus we got NO dinner...
Otherwise, you would have to drop the one day to have dinner with you, or pay a lot of money for dinner where you can go out and eat yourself for half the price...
Really bad style… especially when the gift card says 3 DAYS VACATION PLUS DINNER!
Will never buy from Smartbox again…
You could almost rent the room plus ALSO GET DINNER for the same price if we didn't buy through Smartbox..
I had also received a gift card (dinner for 2)... you only get dinner for the value of the gift card and when we then had to book a table at a restaurant we had to pay 250 kroner extra, and then we only got food for 400 kroner even though the gift card was 250 kroner plus the 250 kroner we gave on top... NEVER BUY AT SMARTBOX!.
However, the hotel was cozy and we had some good days but at crazy prices...
Never buy tickets
Never buy tickets, dinners or other things via Smartbox !!!!. Poor options to extend the lifetime of your product - difficult to reach customer service. Never again :(
Not usable on weekends
Using the box is not very intuitive, and apparently the brunch box can't be used at all locations on weekends.
The experience was great.
The experience chosen was great. The Smartbox website is very hard to navigate and being asked by e-mail to rate it 3 times in a week shouldn't be expected because now you're forcing me to write a not so great review. It's not a part of my experience to write a review for you.

Very bad service and very bad made
I got this very fast after my review (but for client service I couldn´t get an answer from a person, just the computer!) I tried at Grand Teater and Empire Bio which is in the same list as Cinemaxx, very low from you to try to make it look like I didn´t check which cinemas was possible first... with this answer you just make it clear that this is a BAD service...

It seems like you have misunderstood which cinema box you had (we have 2 different options, 1 for Cinemaxx and 1 for Nordisk Film Cinemas)

Very bad service and very bad made, didn´t work in many of the cinemas that says the web side and took me looong time to make it work only in cinemaxx, BAD! and I hope that the pop corn and drinks work when I go to the cinema...who know the client service is not a person, which for my case was useless! just BAD!

I recived a gift card for a hotel with 1 night for two with meals but as I have children and dogs it’s nearly impossible to use so I’ve tryed exchanging for one of your other 3800 gift cards as stated on your web site but was unable to exchange for something as simple as (or so I thought) a meal for two.

Not prolonged - designed to fool you
I received a smartbox in a gift. Covid came and I did not have time to use it. So I prolonged it in good faith. This week I wanted to use it but found out it was expired as it was not prolonged back then but instead just changed into an e-gift card. So it is lost. Smartbox make it really difficult to use their cards and the aim seem to be that they are not used…i will never buy a smartbox again
