No response to call or emails, After Sales service Dodgy!!
Simplebeds have sent me the wrong bed. I haven't opened all the packaging barring the headboard and what I see is the square designed headboard. This is different from the design we chose. The material is also no plush velvet that we ordered.
Ordering the product was easy on the website. Order placed on Nov 22, 2022. When I tried to get in touch with them to check the status of my order after about a week, I just felt like there was no customer service. I tried ringing them up on the number shown on their website(0121 517 1054), it goes straight to voicemail. I have tried multiple times on different days during work hours. No one calls back. I have also tried emailing them but never heard back from them.
Their website claims they offer 5 year warranty and that was the reason I went with these guys, however, I am not sure if ever there comes a time where you need to exercise the warranty claim if they would ever respond.
Cant comment on the quality as I have not opened all the packaging but I am utterly disappointed as we had to wait for over 12 days only to receive the wrong product. Dont know how much more we need to wait until we have a proper bed.
There was no 2 man delivery as claimed on their website. I had to help the delivery guy which I don't mind but I am not happy that SimpleBeds lie about it on their website. There maybe people counting on the 2 person delivery.
Also, the bed was marked as Maya Ottoman on the packaging. A simple google search with the name and I landed on The Range's website where the same name appears and the king size bed is listed for 289£ (tried pasting the link to the ad but TrustPilot had me remove it). I paid around 390£ for my order of the Harper Ottoman and got the Maya Ottoman instead. Not sure if its the same bed on The Range website, but I have my doubts now about this company.
They say they have an easy returns process, so we'll see how that goes but I don't have any high hopes from this brand. As there was no response to my earlier email or calls, I have lost faith in them. Will be sending them another email to see if they replace the bed for me.
