Silver Cross isn’t the premium i expected.

I wanted to share my experience with my recent purchase of a Silver Cross Breez Travel Bundle from the Baby Show at ExCeL London, where payment was taken through Baby Planet.

I placed my order on 7 March 2026 after being advised delivery would take 6–8 weeks due to delays. Instead, the order was significantly delayed, with the chassis, carry cot and car seat arriving separately over an extended period.

* 7 March 2026 – Order placed at the Baby Show ExCeL London.
* Promised delivery – 6–8 weeks.
* 15 May 2026 – Chassis delivered.
* late May/June – Bassinet and car seat delivered separately.
* After 4–5 uses – Chassis developed a rattling fault.
* Current – Chassis being collected for inspection/repair; replacement in mean time? NO
* still waiting for carrycot stand to arrive likely August now.

After only approximately 4–5 uses, the pram chassis developed a fault and now has to be collected for inspection or repair. I have also been informed that the carry cot stand has been delayed until Aug for delivery likely, due to stock issues- meaning I still do not have the complete bundle I paid for.

I appreciate that delays and faults can happen, but I am extremely disappointed by the overall experience, particularly given the premium price of the product. As a new parent, having a reliable travel system is essential, and this experience has caused significant inconvenience and frustration. No compensation, no form of alternative.

I have now submitted a formal complaint to Baby Planet and Silver Cross and hope they will resolve this matter promptly and fairly. I will update this post with the outcome.

I’m sharing this so that other parents are aware of my experience when making purchasing decisions. NB Silver cross is manufactured at the Venicci factory, I would buy a Venicci pram instead if I had the choice.

Excellent Service

We’ve ordered our travel pram and our highchair from silver cross and the quality is outstanding. Everything has stayed in absolute 10/10 condition and I now wouldn’t use any other company for my baby essentials

Fastest delivery service

I had ordered my pram and car seat without realising it will take long to be delivered. I then went on and called the company and they kindly arranged for my car seat to be delivered sooner in case baby decides to show earlier. I got it delivered in 3 days. Exceptional service!

Great service and product

Had a great, easy experience ordering with silver cross. Decided to get a ride on board for my toddler after much hesitation but I was able to take both my daughters (3 y/o and 3 weeks) out by myself with the help of the board. My toddler loved it. It's very sturdy and doesn't have me walking miles away from the pram. Totally recommend the ride on board!

Service and Valet

We sent our pram for the service and Valet that Silver Cross offer and it did not disappoint! The pram, seats, covers and chassis turned out brilliantly. It's given peace of mind knowing it's been properly cleaned and serviced. The service was really efficient, they sent us boxes to put the items in beforehand and then picked the packages up promptly. The turnaround for receiving them back was also really quick.

Customer service via email were fab with their responses too and really supportive and helpful.

Would definitely recommend!
