Their website defaults to selling 'shows plates' and offers no warning to first time buyers that they are illegal to use on UK roads.

They offer no returns or refunds on customised products (they ONLY sell customised products....) - despite showing on their site 60 day money back guarantee and no hassle returns.

Avoid like Covid19.

Great plates. Ordered on Monday arrived on Thursday, plates are completley road legal no squashed lettering. The customer sevice is also very quick, I put the wrong address in emailed them and they responded straight away saying that they would change it straight away. I think the delivery is a bit expensive and also the fixing kit are a bit expensive, but on the whole great quality plates and the logos and flags are great.

SHOCKING SERVICE WITH FAKE REVIEWS ON THEIR SITE !! I ordered a set of plates via their website for £25. There is an error on their website that closed the gap between the letters and numbers so when the plates arrived, there was no spacing in the middle. This is not what I ordered.

To make matters worse, the responses are terrible. If you are lucky to get one ! They will not listen to my complaint saying the website has errors. Wasted £25. I think the company is run by a 15 year old kid as I asked to be contacted by the m.d and again got no response ! Do not use !!

I was pretty happy with my first order from Showplatesexpress.com and placed another, so the plates on my Wife's car would match mine.
Order placed on Monday 15th. June and arrived on Thursday 18th. Once again, quality is OK and no issues with printing.
All in all, quite happy with everything and certainly not the poor experience that others seem to have had. Marking as 4 stars only as the £5.95 delivery charge does seem a little high.

BUYER BEWARE!
Ordered a set of plates with the blue badge on the left hand side.
Plates were delivered with the rear one damaged in the corner.
Blue badge colour was nothing like the colour online and also the rear yellow plate is a much darker shade of yellow than any other standard plate I have seen or got.
Tried to contact the sales team directly twice with no response.
When I escalated a claim through PayPal I got a snotty response not claiming any responsibility for the damage or for the misrepresentation of the colour of the plates online compared to the finished result.
I have now put a claim in with PayPal and hopefully will get a refund.
Do not buy from this company.

Waited over two weeks for the plate to arrive, no answer to my emails and no dispatch information, as my car had no plate and was off the road and no way of knowing if the plate would arrive at all,had to buy another plate with a different supplier which arrived within 3 days, to make matters worse i had accidentally ordered a showplate a mistake that is very easy to make, i had chosen showplates express because of their claimed fast delivery, so total waste of money, their positive so called reviews seem to have been all posted at the same time and I notice you can't leave a review on their website. Expensive lesson learned, my advice would be to avoid using this company it's not their fault that I ordered the wrong thing, though they could make things a little easier on their website, but they are slow and they don't respond to emails

Receive plates very quickly.
Extremely poor quality - backing out of line - corner has been caught due to the backing sticking out. (on both plates)
Emailed to ask for replacement.

Wish i had seen these reviews first

On their website they claim 3764 reviews with an average of 5 stars. I asked them where these reviews are with no reply.
After a few days I saw there were more recent reviews displayed yet the claim remained at 3764.
Interestingly DirectPlates dot com look exactly the same with the same BS reviews.
Any company that doesn't have a contact address for anything on line should be AVOIDED!!!!

Disgraceful company, 'road legal' plates are not legal and no British standard logo as stated on the website. One of my rear plates arrived with the letters backwards as if looking at it in a mirror. No contact number on the website and no response to emails, have had to open a case through PayPal and still haven't had a response.
AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!
