Plates just a couple of months old are delaminating with big bubbles all over them. Don’t buy this, it might be cheap. It might be quick but it’s very poor quality. They are not cheap or quick when you factor in having to buy more in a few weeks.

Do not use this company there plates delaminated after only 2 months and they are completely ignorfing my emails. They don't have a phone number which says it all.

Plates came scuffed on the edges, they ignore your emails. After 2 weeks they messaged me, replacements were sent. After another week or more nothing arrived. Glad that PayPal intervineed and atm im in process of getting my money back. POOR QUALITY & CUSTOMER SERVICE.

But the most shocking thing is only a 60 day warranty bet you can't find that on the website !!
My plate delaminated after only 10 months I spoke to Jenny @ showplates who said we only have a 60 day warranty .....
The website quotes quality plates but never have I ever had to buy replacement plates in a 10 month period.

Poor quality and even poorer customer services

I ordered 2 rear plates, one for my caravan (with badge and legal info, the other a basic plate) all correctly confirmed in the order acknowledgment. However, on delivery my “caravan” plate was incorrectly supplied as a front plate. I have tried calling twice with no answer. I have emailed three times politely explaining their error. I also explained that I needed the replacement plate for a deadline a week later. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE A week later, I have not had a single reply to any of my messages, so have had to buy another plate from elsewhere.
The plates I did receive are very basic poor quality (just stickers on black plastic). No doubt they meet the minimum BS standard, but they most certainly are NOT quality acrylic plates.
My advice is to buy your plates elsewhere

I’ve paid 29.99 plus delivery for my plates about 4 months ago and still haven’t received them! No contact number to call and response to emails! Absolute joke of a company

Great service, ordered 5 plates 9.15am and received them 10.00am the next day delivered by Hermes. All exactly what I ordered.

Really good price and came the next day. Plates are great, would deffo recommend and use again in the future. Thanks 👍🏻

I ordered my plates and clicked on the showplate column and not the legal as I wanted a gap.....they came back with no gap, I contacted them (after finding it very difficult to find a contact) to be answered by a very rude person saying
'that's what you ordered'
I tried to get in touch with someone else to talk to and never received a call or email.....terrible service...
they want your money and that's it...no after service.
the website did not warn me of no space......

After having a bad experience and writing a review on here, I had a reply from showplatesexpress about my purchase on this website fast forward a couple of months and they have tried to take down my review claiming I wasn’t a verified customer so I had to email trustpilot to sent them proof of purchase, they are trying to take down genuine reviews of bad experiences obviously some people wouldn’t have emailed trustpilot back so there positive status has gone up but this is a horrible company with horrible customer service and I would strongly advise against anyone using them. There are better companies out there

Just to reply to your comment... none of your positive reviews have order numbers either but you don’t see them going down when after I ordered and looked at trust pilot it was 70% negative reviews

Don’t get fooled by the same day dispatch . Ordered before their deadline @£5-99 for delivery ! I’ve looked at Hermes and for size and weight this should be next day delivery’s that price . According to showplates its 2/3 business days delivery, ok so waiting longer than this is not on especially as I can’t drive my vehicle due to no number plate . JUST AVOID .. NUMBERPLATES DIRECT OFFER NEXT DAY DELIVERY IF ORDERED BEFORE 12 at less than the £5-99 this lot charge !

I purchased a badged showplate but only a standard plate with no badge arrived. It certainly didn't arrive next day either!
When I queried the lack of badge I was told I hadn't ordered a badge on the plate, despite it clearly being on the screen. It was implied that there was nothing they could do. Really poor customer service.

Show plates have since responded to imply that a discount was about to be offered on a reprint however, following my two emails to them asking ‘what are my options here?’ They failed to mention a discount!

Have used showplates twice recently. Easy to use and fast delivery. Good flexibility in design options, responsive and reasonable postage costs. Would use again

Received plates within two days, very good quality and I couldn’t be more pleased for £20.

Absolutely faultless..useless temporary postman delivered my plate half a mile away from my house to a number 10 ...I'm number 18..and a totally different street and postcode..doh ..I contacted the plate place to moan about where it was.they apologised and said it had been sent the day I ordered it....only to get contacted on Facebook to say is this yours? by the person it was wrongly delivered too..I collected straight away the next day postman pratt had a day off and the replacement plate had arrived without me even asking...fabulous service and quality thank you...basically this company is great..I will be back and thanks again...

The plates were excellent quality and they arrived within a few days. I fitted them them with care, I am a well above average DIYer. The self adhesive pads supplied with the plates are from the very lowest budget brand. Both plates fell off within less than a day, very fortunately both were on occasions when I was parked up and I noticed them before driving off. I took my car to our official dealer who told me that the pads I used were not fit for purpose, so I knew at that point that it was not caused by me fitting them incorrectly. In fact due to Covid-19 they only had time to fit the front plate and gave me a pack of pads that they use for all their plates. I fitted them at home and could immediately feel the difference when I attached the plate. Since then all has been good.

So, if you do buy plates from this company then please buy top quality pads from somewhere else. I think that the UK's car parts supplier sells them.

Plate took 4 days to deliver so not next day as advertised, I ordered a front plate which is obviously white and received a rear plate instead, email them no reply and no contact numbers,
