At first if you don’t succeed just lie and lie to the customer …

Spoken to several people since order placed all promised delivery and total lies, item arrived 2 weeks later and all they kept saying were sorry but nothing king we can do, well you can send it on time when you said you would not later and don’t keep mooring when contacted, and please Dont treat customers like fools and be so condescending when communicating with them, I Cant recall dealing with a Comoany in the last 50 years who treated me so badly with no effort made to reassure me that the customer was of any importance at all? A total arrogance attitude towards the people paying for them to be in employment, not sure if this is a company cultural as all were the same spew of self importance and lack of understanding towards the end user.

Would I recommend NO
would I waste anymore time on this company NO

Total cowboys, and felt more like a online scam/con rather than a purchase of a significant amount.

Thrustmaster 458 spider wheel and pedal set for Xbox

I have had the Thrustmaster 458 spider wheel and pedal set for a few years now and I can tell you it’s not great at all. Three stars is at a push! The pedals are fully constructed of plastic and so is the wheel. The wheel has red rubber grips which are alright but have faded to a very dull colour of red. The brake pedal has become squeaky when pressing hard and trail braking which can get quite annoying. The gas pedal is really weak to press down although the brake pedal is slightly harder to press. (You can still press the brake pedal with only one finger though - to give you an idea). The wheel looks very authentic and of good quality but when you actually look in detail and start to use it, you do start to realise that the quality is not all that great. The quality of the gear paddles are probably the best quality thing on this setup (Made from genuine metal), and have a solid click to them. The centre spring mechanism is hardly noticeable anymore and requires near to no force to move it through its 240° of rotation. The clamp is fine for what the wheel is too. All of the buttons are good as well.

I recommend avoiding this set and going straight to a Logitech g series or a higher quality thrustmaster if you can spend a bit more. (You get so much more for those setups, especially Logitech, than any other brand in my opinion for the price you pay). Overall, not a great product in my opinion.

Terrible all around Avoid at all cost!

Terrible products even worse customer support avoid at all cost! They sell defective products then they refuse to help by selling parts needed for repair. My T3PA gas pedal stopped working very soon after purchasing.

This brand is garbage.

This brand is garbage.
I play rocket league and thought it would be great to be able to switch my joysticks.
I bought the eswap X and now the eswap S,
Joysticks last for 2 weeks before my cam locks on the side/ moves on its own.
Lt/Rt triggers that work half or they click 5 times in fps games it shoots 10 bullets when I press once.
They are good controller’s in the sense where the grip is nice but quality is crap. I spent over 400€ on controllers and joysticks.
Forget about RMA they respond then ghost you.
If you want quality then just play with a keyboard and a mouse they won’t let you down.
For 150-160€ the controller I feel like it costs them 20€ to build that crap.
The joysticks drift in 2 weeks and some out of the box are already dead.
Please listen to what I said I didn’t thinking all the pros where using them and people here just had bad luck, but it’s not bad luck it’s just bad quality.
Good day

Just forget and try any other brand proper service

Just forget and try any other brand, unless you have money to waste. No matter how it looks, only good till it works. They you're on your own. Wheel died just after a year of use, zero customer service, just some dodgy voice message from a random person picked from the street. Your only hope will be one of the retailers if they willing to help. Do yourself a favor, choose from another big brand where customer actually means a word, there's plenty out there, and the competition is fierce. Can only hope they'll lose their blind worldwide fan base and crawl back to their greedy home country for good. Absolute jokers.

Just AWFUL support

Just AWFUL support.

Bought the Boeing Yoke and Throttle for the flight sim, throttle not working out the box. They made be jump through hoops, send videos, upload screen grabs etc, and once they finally agreed for me to return the item they have a whole pile of absurd rules you have to follow (nonsense like the package must be 1-2cm larger than the item).

They also make you print out all the labels, I mean FFS what sort of company are they using? Every other return I have ever done, the dude comes to the door, gets the package, and THEY label it.

Anyway, I am now over 2 weeks into the return process and its STILL sitting in a warehouse somewhere!

Honestly, what an utter shambles of a company. I had to return a Saitek once, I had the replacement item in 3 days!

Sketchy business practices especially with returns

I bought a full flight kit from them and I honestly didn’t want to keep it cause I knew I wasn’t going to use it much so I returned it and they sure do try to make returning stuff as difficult as possible with confusing return instructions, but I returned it and did everything and I emailed them a tracking number and everything and confirmed it was delivered and at first wirh support they were helpful with buying it, but when it came to actually returning it they gave me no response and ignored all my attempts at contacting them for a return, so I would not recommend buying anything from them unless you’re sure you’ll keep it or like it cause they’re very scummy and they have the item I returned to them and haven’t even responded to my return or anything so I would not buy from them luckily I used PayPal so I made a claim and got my money back so yeah don’t bother with these borderline scammers and also forgot to add they make you pay to return the item.

Bought the new eswap pro controller and…

Bought the new eswap pro controller and I've had nothing but issues, contacted them over stick drift from day 1 and had to record to prove it, they sent 1 new module, 3 weeks later that's broke, hair trigger causes Lb to stick, you can feel the analogue stick having frictio, additional triggers underneath don't always respond. Told them they can have it back to fix and the response I got is you've had it longer then the14 days to return it(odd warranty) didn't ask for a refund as I just wanted it fixed or replaced. Only good thing is a modular I bought from there other controller as that worked perfectly

Ripped off. T300, Ferrari T1000 & T LCM Pedals

DANGER! DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES purchase the T300 Servo base, Ferrari T1000 add on or T LCM pedals for PS4 or PS5. I’ve had the worst experience of my life after purchasing the above mentioned items. Never again will I purchased anything from Thrustmaster. I followed every step in the set-up instructions, 5 times! Including moving the switch from PC to PS4/5. After 5 times nothing works. Setting the Ferrari wheel up is beyond a joke, this is 2022 you’d think it was the early 2000’s. You have to use your phone as a substation so the wheel can connect to the internet after which you have to then go into the wheel settings and select the game, clap your hands, look up 3 times, down 3 times and then close everything and never again use it. When the wheel is connected to the internet it does show connection to the base and confirms all firmware is the up-to-date version so why doesn’t the servo show as an option in F1 2022 or Gran Turismo 7. Press the PS button on the servo, what f**king PS button?
The reason I purchase all items was Thrustmaster saying T300 works on PS4/5, what they should have said is “it might work so give us your £789.97 and go away”. I had an online chat which got me no where and caused me more Aggro. Make a video, give us all of your purchase details and we’ll investigate.
So I’m now back on T500 with my old set up with 3 items sat on the floor unusable, what a waste of money. Fortunately I purchased on my credit card, so at the credit card people talk to Thrustmaster for me!

Horrible Support and Wheels

Horrible Steering Wheel, Terrible Support hours. I have spent 150 dollars on a wheel and pedals, the Ferrari 248, and the pedals have half the functions they normally would, the wheel doesn't turn in ANY game, the instructions are very broad and give no explanation, I had to go out of my way to figure out how to use the basic clamp. Do not use this company.

Bought a wheel and pedals didn't…

Bought a wheel and pedals didn't calibrate properly, then had to send multiple videos and pictures to them to prove it. It never worked correctly from day one, eventually they agreed it was defective and I was then to ring and arrange a collection with a courier and print off their returns labels, oh and box it appropriately with the right packaging else I would be accountable for damage. They won this one unfortunately as they got my money, I binned it and bought Logitech will never buy from these again and have also warned friends.

Ok product, horrible support

Bought a t300 wheel and a clutch from Thrustmaster, this was my first wheel and overall i liked it, same for clutch, but if you don't have a stand for it don't buy it, it will be a waste of money, because the screw that holds the wheel to the table will get worn out in like 1-6 months, it's a very common problem, and the support will not do anything about it, the support experience I had trying to get the new screw was the most horrible experience I ever had and just gave up in the end because even with photos they just wouldn't believe that the screw was at fault even though the whole part of screw was warped forwards... Also they would take 1 week or even more to just to respond once, asking for pictures that I already sent or saying there's no problem then the problem is clearly there just wasting my time. Ok product, horrible support, wouldn't recommend.

Products fairly ok, for the first 2 months at least.

Products fairly ok, for the first 2 months that is.
I bought an Eswap controller.
Sticks went broke after a month of use. After 5 months the front buttons started giving me issues(They'd get stuck"

That's not even the worst part, that title is reserved for their awful customer service.

They replied fairly quickly to my emails, but beyond that, useless.

THey asked me to do many tests, proving the faulty parts.
I did all of that, just to be replied with some copy pasted PR crap. Felt like talking to a robot. The time I mentioned something not working they pulled out a paragraph from their terms of purchase and pasted it.

They ignored what I typed, not even sure they watched the video I had to make.
One of the worst customer experience I ever experienced.

Avoid this brand. The eSwap joypads are basically a huge gimmick, with subpar quality given their premium pricetag. They wanted to go premium, but with a mediocre build quality, and an even worse customer service.

Are they still in business?

This company's services is about as bad as it gets. No phone answering due to their being out of business. Not sure this is permanent or temporary. BAD BAD. Do not buy their products if you think somewhere along the line you will need customer service.

By the way, I own a relatively new T.Flight Hotas One Joy Stick.

Products = 4 star / Customer service = -2 star = 2 star

[Before I start my review, I should point out that I'm an aerospace engineering consultant. My primary work is space technology/rocket propulsion but I'm also an aviator-in-training so I have an element of aviation business too. One of my projects involves assisting one developing nation obtain combat simulators, including the potential procurement of 40 to 60 units of HOTAS and pedals. Thrustmaster will no longer being considered.]

What can I say. I read the negative reviews and thought "what a bunch of whiners". I originally bought the TPR pedals and they were fantastic. After watching ATE's (a former French fighter pilot) video and special promotion plus the praise of Thrustmaster from a Director of a air combat simulation company, I thought Thrustmaster were a reputable company.

I wanted to upgrade from my Saitek X56 and I received my Warthog HOTAS third week of November 2021 but didn't unbox until a week later. When I did, I found the two iron switches on the throttle quadrant wobbled when in the 'on' position. I could also "rotate" the top portion. I called Thrustmaster and they said they can't replace it. It should be repaired but I argued that it was sent to me in this condition. I told the lady that I'll try to bind them to functions in the settings and they worked. So, functionally it works - but I was still sent a defective product which I wanted replacing.

They wouldn't answer the phone a few weeks later so I engaged in a back-and-forth with them. Instead of a replacement, they said I could return it as I made a complaint within the original two weeks of purchase, they'd refund me and then I can buy a new one. I said I can't do that because I bought it during the Black Friday Sale and if I bought a new one, the discount would no longer apply.

When I pointed out that I sent them a Direct Message via Twitter and they said 'if it's a defective item, the vendor should replace it', I replied that I bought the TPR pedals from Scan Computers but the Warthog HOTAS was directly from Thrustmaster, they disappeared. That's the last I heard from them. That was last week - which was following one day of continual communication.

Thrustmaster's products are *almost superb*. In fact, I was so impressed that I also ordered an F/A-18C and F-16C stick. I can understand quality control can miss such items but when that happens, products should be automatically replaced which they continually refused to do. Of course, if you were lucky enough to buy a fully functional product, then you'd give it 5-stars but I'm giving it 4-stars because I received a physically defective item.

Their customer service is absolutely atrocious. When I did speak to the lady, she kept cutting me off in mid-sentence and talking over me, not allowing me to explain, so I gave them -2 stars...

...hence my result of 2-stars.

I was 2 months outside warranty for a COMMON issue

I bought a T16000 joystick. After 10 months the twist action would produce random erratic movements all by itself. I assumed a problem with my game because the issue was RANDOM. Eventually (after a lot of patience) I saw the problem in Windows Control Panel joystick test tool. I still did not blame the joystick. Eventually I got around to rebuilding my PC (takes a lot of effort if you're a super user with lots configured so you have to be sure about it before committing). After the rebuild, to my horror the problem continued. By now I was 2 months outside the warranty.

I Googled the problem and found it was a well known issue. Did they care? No, they decided to throw good customer service out of the window and told me I'm 2 months outside the warranty and there would be no exceptions! Even after explaining to them why I was delayed with exercising my warranty rights (because I didn't believe it was the joystick). Upon research I found out that they use a cheap/nasty non-standard potentiometer that you cannot buy from elsewhere. It's common in many of their devices. It fails regularly.

Any company that works like this does not deserve your money. Plenty of other tech companies would not care about 2 months past the warranty period. Example, I have a VR headset 1 year outside warranty. The company fixed it!

Thrustmaster/Guillemot's failure to fix a small problem for me means I will never by their products again (having bought about 3 products over the last 10 years). Management need a lesson in customer service. To quote 2 months outside warranty period at me for a COMMON and known problem is outrageous. Your savings in parts/labour are false economy. You have lost a long term customer.
