It is not surprising that manufacturing is cheap and the cost high. The laces were not nice at all have changed them to proper cotton woven ones.

Well packaged and arrived promptly

Very quickly seen although I was there a bit earlier than my appointment. Excellent advice and feet measured first. Tried a few if suitable for my plantar fasciitis and decided to go for a very comfortable shoe in the end. Would highly recommend as you need your feet every day so the best shoe is well worth the expense! Would highly recommend!

Delivery not made and parcel returned to shop. Shop contacted and promised to send as soon as received. That was a week ago and no contact has been made since.

Great shoes, prompt dispatch and chat service. Perfect for my hip replacement. However when I flagged up a sizing discrepancy for my shoe in the chat and phone based on listed sizing chart for that shoe, it wasn’t well understood. There is an error on the chart which might confuse others. UK sizing does not match the EU sizing.

From the Orthofeet/ShoeMed chart:

* UK 7 → EU 39.5
* UK 7.5 → EU 40
* UK 8 → EU 40.5–41

👉 That is shifted smaller than standard EU sizing
(normally UK 7 ≈ EU 41)

X Sensible are the only brand of shoes I can wear. I have horrible arthritic painful feet that need comfortable footwear. I have had trainers & sandals in this brand from Shoemed which I love. I find the feel of the leather & stretchability in the footwear fantastic. Great in style also.
Always delivered promptly.

Visited the Stratford-upon-Avon store last week for a speculative browse. Tried on a few pairs of shoes in different sizes with different inserts. Probably in the shop for 30 mins or more. Received impeccable and patient service. The shop assistant was more interested in making sure the fit and that i was completely happy rather than a quick sale.

Ordered a pair of slippers but took quite a while to arrive due to low stock. Quality was good and sizing correct for size 10. Good communication when I emailed about delivery.

I found the free 40 minute appointment so beneficial whilst deciding which shoes would be best for me. The assistant was very helpful and knowledgeable.
The £10 off given because this was the first time I had visited the shop was also very welcome.
I have recommended this shop to many of my friends who have problems with their feet.

The expert advice is second to none in my opinion. Amanda really knows problem feet and which shoes work best for individual needs. I was hugely impressed with the service all round. These aren’t ‘high fashion’ shoes, but are not solely for problem feet - they are really quite stylish and excellent for people with wide feet, like me. I will be back in the autumn and thank you!

Excellent customer service and delivery

The assistant who served us was exceptional going up and down the stairs fetching sandals for me to try, it seemed that nothing was too much trouble
