We've been using shipstation for one month.
it took a bit of back and fourth with customer service to get the app working correctly and we're still seeing some issues, but customer service is quick to help.
if it wasn't for that it would be 5 star, the plug in works exactly as it should with shopify with good customisation and ease of use, we ship around 150 parcels a day and it handles this with ease.

We’ve been using ShipStation for months and I’ve given this platform more chances than I should have. I was set up with an account representative who has since canceled multiple scheduled meetings. Despite trying again and again to connect with someone for a real, human conversation, I’m constantly redirected to chatbots or vague support threads that don’t address the root of our issues.
We’ve been repeatedly given instructions that have directly hurt our company’s reputation — most notably with incorrect shipping and fulfillment practices that result in our customers being charged double for duties and taxes. These aren’t small mistakes — they’ve caused real damage.
One of the most frustrating experiences was being told by a rep that ShipStation is automatically notified of every fulfilled order in Shopify. This turned out to be completely false, and led to duplicate labels being printed for orders that were already fulfilled. This error alone cost my client over $15,000 in unnecessary shipping charges.
All of this while our monthly shipping fees through the platform exceed $16,000. It’s beyond frustrating to invest so much in a system that has failed us so repeatedly — not just on a technical level, but in terms of basic customer support and accountability.
ShipStation needs to seriously reconsider how it supports its business clients — especially those dealing with high volumes and international shipping. Until then, I’d advise others to think twice before relying on this service for critical fulfillment operations.

Stay away from Shipstation. They arbitrarily add fees without telling you. If you don't use their courier prices they charge an extra monthly fee ($30). They have also started charging for things we aren't even aware of on a monthly basis.
We are working towards another system and we will never use them again.
They are disingenuous about their pricing and the platform itself is really bad now.

In the last month I have literally spent more time trying to log into ship station then I have using ship station. They're two factor authentication is an absolute disaster. It makes a software unusable. And I have to update my API key at the same time and guess what my developer has to do that which means I have to spend half an hour at night trying to log into this f'ing mess. Absolute idiots running this. The only thing they care about is trying to get you to use their shipping account so they can get a cut. They make third party shipping intentionally complicated and then try to force you into using their account. We have to pay an extra 40 bucks a month or something like that just use third-party accounts, and then they barely work.

I've been using Shipstation for a few months now. At first, I wasn't sure as I've been using RM Click & Drop and I didn't really want to change. I'm so glad I did, Shipstation has streamlined my dispatch tenfold! It's so unbelievably good once you understand it. The customer support is also so speedy and really helpful, it always amazes me how good they are. I also had great help at the start from Emily, who helped with the onboard process so much! Anybody who's wanting to speed up their dispatch process, give Shipstation a try! Its been a complete gamechanger for me!!

Most of the application is working for our company, but history of the reports are not yeilding the information we need. the result is trying to merge multiple reports to obtain the data we need each month.

I created an account and provided my credit card information, but they refused to remove the $25 daily limit. When I requested to delete my account and remove my credit card details, I was passed around from one department to another—Support told me Sales handled account deletions, then Sales redirected me to Management. No one took responsibility. Terrible experience. Stay far away from this company.

I think Shipstation is absolutely the #1 shipping platform out there!! You can add notes, create orders, send return labels, set up automations for rules, see data, and so much more!! Customer support is extremely helpful and friendly as well!
The only thing I am not fond of is the updated version is so different to the old version. You almost have to re-learn the system. Reships create a WHOLE new order, which can be confusing for non users viewing the system. The layout tends to look as one as the old layout is more divided, being less confusing when going to different sections.

From one extreme to another. Great i can get my items shipped internationally but trying sending more than one package internationally to the same person (a set of wheels sold as one sale), or sending anything internationally without the customer being forced to pay something that they have already paid. What is the point in sending an IOSS number if the customer is still charged VAT to receive. Clearly something is not right with this system, i suspect, as my issue was never really answered, not all people there know how to send things internationally, nor explain to me the right process if I'm doing it wrong. I suspect something is up with there systems uploading info to courier.
Helpdesk queries closed to early, no answers to questions asked. The service is horrendous but when it works, it does what i need. Let down a lot by the lack of customer service and answering questions about the business they are suppose to be in.

Ship Station is easy to use though there is a ittle learning curve as with anything. It integrates with my Ecwid Store. My only complaint is when I have someone order online for an 'in-store' pickup, that particular order jams up the import of orders into ShipStation. It seems to start with that order and all of the ones that come after it. The just won't import. Most of the time I can go into my Ecwid store and adjust the information in that customers order to allow the import to flow through but that does not work all of the tiem. Then I have to call customer service. It would be nice if this 'bug' could be worked out. This does not happen very often so the majority of the time Ship Station works just fine!

Company started doing automatic funding, however funds were never in my account. I was with them for several years, then they suddenly started taking money from my account at will. This can't be legal. I am furious and they don't have an explanation. They have charged several hundred dollars. STAY AWAY FROM SHIPSTATION! THEY ARE THIEVES!!!
