I contacted Shelter Adams Ltd to replace a 20yr plus lpg boiler. Rob Shelter was prompt, courteous and professional when he came to look at the job. I received a detailed quote and boiler recommendation which I accepted. Fitters arrived on the date agreed. They were polite, friendly and did a good job with the fitting. Mess was kept to a minimum and they cleaned up after themselves. I had to have a separate visit from an electrician to finish wiring the boiler. I was highly satisfied with the job he did and how he tidied up the external wiring. The old boiler was taken away after a prompt. Payment was straightforward. I am happy with the boiler and fitting. I would recommend Shelter Adams Ltd.

After looking for a local engineer for my dads Worcester bosh oil boiler I found somebody emailed rob who got in touch sorted a date and time when rob arrived he was very pleasant and my dad said so pleased you found him the boiler was serviced rob showed what he had done ,good price too certificate given and we will most definitely have rob next year ,excellent service at a good price.

We used Rob and his team for a new boiler install earlier this year, the pricing was competitive and the communication was very good throughout, they were flexible in bringing the install forward when our old boiler packed up.
What was even more important to us was the aftercare, we had an issue with the boiler (fault with the manufacturer, not install) and they communicated well, helped with troubleshooting and resolving the problem. That’s what I value above anything by else, how an issue is dealt with and resolved.

We’d previously used Shelter-Adams to replace our combi with a new Worcester, and were really impressed with their responsiveness, the quality of their installation work and customer support. So I decided to turn to them again when my elderly mother’s boiler packed up just as temperatures began to drop.

Once again I was so impressed with the speed of their response and the urgency they showed in arranging a site visit, as they were aware of mum’s age and vulnerability. The engineer was efficient in diagnosing the issue and then talking me through the different options for repair or replacement - setting out the pros and cons with each.

Very quickly we received a quote and once we made the decision to opt for a new boiler, Rob and his team moved quickly to accommodate the installation in their work schedule. Adam the engineer was polite and efficient and the boiler is working well and mum is so relieved to have it sorted well before winter.

Rob also checked in with me to make sure everything had gone well and the boiler was working as it should. It’s this personal attention to detail with ensuring the customer is satisfied that really makes the company standout. Their prices also represent very good value for money.

Overall, we were very impressed and would highly recommend.

Rob stepped in at short notice to complete a gas safety check. He kept me well informed and completed the work at a fair price. Would recommend.

Both Rob’s at Shelter-Adams were super helpful and efficient. Rob arranged for one of his team to come out the same day to fix our broken boiler. The other Rob managed to fix on the spot, something I was extremely grateful for. Pricing was upfront and transparent. I would highly recommend and would use again without hesitation.

Very impressive service. gave us a one hour time slot to be with us to do the job. Punctual; very pleasant and courteous to deal with, and listened well to our explanation of the problems. Identified the solutions quickly and sorted everything out in a timely and efficient manner. Will use Shelter-Adams again and would recommend to anyone else.

Our central heating had become inefficient with most radiators not heating properly. Shelter-Adams reviewed our system and carried out a small update including the addition of a magnetic filter followed by a complete flush of all the radiators. The heating system is now working better than it has for many years.

The team who undertook the work were efficient, knowledgeable and worked as unobtrusively as possible.

They did exactly what they promised , were very flexible about my problems with Royal Mail ( non-delivery of payments ) and were exceedingly pleasant to deal with.

Excellent service throughout from the planning to the installation.
The two installation engineers were very professional and did an amazing job.
They thoroughly inspected the system after the install, checking every radiator in the house and every hot & cold tap.
Once they had finished they did an amazing job clearing up and left no mess what so ever.
They made sure we understood how the new boiler worked and answered any questions we had professionally.
I would highly recommend this company to anyone requiring a new boiler install.

Had a replacement oil tank fitted . A quick survey by Rob , no pressure a relaxed discussion giving me all the new regulations , advised of changes needed and advice on how to effect .Excellent communication , quote arrived quickly and very professional paperwork . Installation performed with the minimum of fuss at a reasonable negotiated price . The whole process deserved the 5 stars and I could not be more pleased .

A fantastic company to work with from start to finish.
I needed a pressurised cylinder installing to allow three showers to run simultaneously.
I contacted Rob, he came to see me within a week and took away the requirements.
Soon after a quote was sent and the work was scheduled.
Both our installers (Will and Harry) were great. The work was done to a high standard and on time.
I had issues with the old showers which were low pressure showers (20 years old) and when the water was switched on, they started to leak as they could not handle the pressure of the new cylinder.
Will then arranged to come back the next day and fit in a new shower to keep us going until we can get the bathrooms renovated in a few months time.
Nothing was too much trouble.
I have had many plumbers throughout the years but I will be definitely contacting Rob and his team for any future plumbing jobs I have.
