Bought 4 tankinis only tried on the top of one. Kept that one and sent 3 back. Was refunded for 1 as the other 2 apparently had the hygiene sticker missing. They weren’t even taken out of the bag. Customer service is dismal. Lost my money and the tankinis

I ordered 2 bikinis. I tried 1 of the sets on and didn't bother trying the other on as I knew it would be too big.
I returned both bikini sets on along with other stuff. I noticed that the refund did not include the cost of the bikinis.
I got in touch with customer service who state that both of the hygeine strips was damaged. I've seen images and they are not damage and are intact just fine. I've asked that they return the biknis as I know they'll only replace the strips and resell making money on the money they've already had from me. One of the bikinis as stated I didn't even try on, so I defiantly couldn't have damaged the strips.
After seeing all these reviews it seems that this is just the latest scam by Shein and a way to make easy money from loyal customers.
This has made me never want to reorder from here due to this. I would really advise people not to order swim wear as you will be caught out on this, and be left without the product and hard earned money you have paid.

Shein has replied saying an agent is handling this and guaranteed resolution within 24 hours. I can now see on my official service ticket that the processing timer has updated and shows ONLY 9 HOURS 39 MINUTES REMAINING.
This confirms my £198.01 credit (plus £20.00 credit already processing) is 100% APPROVED and GUARANTEED to be in my wallet BEFORE 3:00 PM TODAY.
I will update again the second the money lands, but this timer and their public promise proves I have won this and I am getting every penny owed to me. Thank you to Shein for finally sorting this properly.

Ordered 3 swimsuits/bikinis, only tried on the bathing suit could already tell the bikinis wouldn’t fit, the protection label on the bathing suit was already hanging on for dear life and it stayed on when I tried it, sent them all back and like others leaving reviews they’re stating the labels weren’t up to quality control, even sending pictures with what looks like bleach stains on the below area? It’s starting to look like they’re doing this at quality control to stop giving refunds! Won’t be buying from here again! THEY ARE BLEACHING the clothes to say you sent them back that way! AVOID BUYING SWIMWEAR

Very disappointed with SHEIN customer service and returns process.
I returned 2 swimwear items in clean condition with the hygiene stickers still attached. The items were returned immediately after inspection and were not worn.
The warehouse then rejected my refund claim and sent photos claiming there were stains on the swimwear. The marks shown look like bleach/chemical stains, and I also noticed the exact same orange discoloration marks visible on the inspection table/background in their own photos. This strongly suggests the damage happened during warehouse handling or inspection, not while the items were with me.
Despite explaining this, customer service refused to properly investigate and kept saying there was “no proof.” I find it unacceptable that customers can be blamed for damage that appears to have been caused after the return arrived at the warehouse.
After looking online, I found many other people reporting similar issues with swimwear returns and hygiene sticker disputes. This experience has been extremely frustrating and unfair.
I will not be ordering from SHEIN again and would advise other customers to be careful when returning swimwear items.

DO NOT BUY. ABSOLUTE SCAM. Purchased 7 bikinis. Kept 2. Returned 5 as they were too small. Literally processed the return the day I received them. All sanitary liners were intact and sent back. I hadn’t received my refund so contacted SHEIN who said they would not be refunding me for the returns as the liners had peeled back!!! Are they joking- the liners you provide fall off as soon as you bring the item out of the bag. On the photos you literally see the liners stuck on the bottoms! They have kept the bikinis and my money so they are STEALING from me. Now doing a charge back from my bank. Got them to cancel my £90 order as well. Last time I will shop at SHEIN. Whoever is making these decisions, it is going to cost your company a lot of money.

SHEIN UK IS COVERING UP A 158-DAY SCAM WITH FAKE PROMISES!
SHEIN UK is interfering in my case just to protect their public image. I have been harassed by SHEIN for 158 DAYS (since December 11th, 2025) because they stole money from my refund (Order GSO1Q614M00QPS3) and offered a pathetic 0.30€ (30 points) as compensation for 5 months of stress.
Now, SHEIN UK comes to my reviews leaving fake polite comments with hearts (💝), telling me to check my app 'Service Records' and promising a solution in 24 hours. It is a LIE. Your app only contains robotic scripts. You are just trying to look good in front of UK customers while your company humiliates people for half a year.
I am demanding 900 points for this endless harassment. Shame on SHEIN UK for participating in this gaslighting. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!

Buyer beware
The evening/full length dresses are far too long and will need private adjustment. The quality is hit and miss and the zippers ard extremely stiff where it encounters a horizontal seam. Please be aware to check for any static cling of hair or dust before return as you will not receive a refund if an odd hair is found.
Additionally any orders in the UK that exceed £150 will be charged a £45 shipping fee despite the add stating Free returns.

Ordered a tankini ,the sanitry strip was loose on one part ,returned the item as it didnt suit 24 hours after receiving it.only to be refused a refund as it didnt pass quality control ,it was sent back same way it was received so how about shein checking quality control before your customer received the item. As i didnt know this was an issue i returned the item as i didnt like it simple as ...to be informed i should of took a picture and returned as faulty !!how can i return as faulty if i didnt realise it was a problem. Strange as a friend also received a bikini bottom with same sanitry strip issue i think the problem lays with the quality of the adhesive strip. Good scam though shein well done how many poor unsuspecting customers aint receiving there refund ,whilst you also get to keep the product as its been returned and you go ahead and resell it and the same process starts again. CONGRATULATIONS !! I give you 5* for just that !

I am not sure where to start from. After a long wait I received the product which was a set of 3 bras. I had ordered for 32B which is advertised as XS for UK and clearly shows this "Bra Size XS is (US/MX/UK/CA/CO/PE): 30C,32A,32B". When I received the item it was saying XS on the outside packaging but on the bra itself showed 36 L. They were huge. Not only that but I am now struggling to get my refund as customer care is not supportive or understanding. I have sent it back already and while sending it back you have to take a video while packing the item which sounds crazy. What a faff and waste of time. I am told I will not be refunded the shipping cost. Why is it my fault to loose the shipping cost? I am going to contact Trading Standards in UK. Please be careful using Shein. I am paying the price for trusting them. I spent all the energy in finding a product, ordering, paying, went to collect the item and now I had to repack and take it back to post office and I am told my shipping costs won't be refunded. It's not fair. I would definitely make UK authorities aware of this. I am still waiting for my refund & I may have to wait for roughly two weeks. First the returned item must be delivered back and then it goes through a quality check and if everything is ok then only you will be issued with a refund which can take another two weeks to process. I just want to ask did someone really do quality check before dispatching this item to me? If they had done the quality check they would know it's a wrong size and they could either tell me the item is out of stock or could replace it to a correct size. How can you trust a company like that which is so biased? I could not believe how useless were the replies of their customer care. It's like you are speaking to bots. They keep repeating the same thing in place of understanding the issue or even trying to help customer. I have never seen such a poor customer service before.
This was my very first order and I had such a bad experience that never in my life I will even look at SHEIN website again. I would suggest more and more people who had bad experienced and who have proofs of it should contact Trading Standards in UK.

Really disappointed. Poor customer service and ridiculous refund policy. Be warned! Bought some swim suits and a skirt. Decided to send the swim suits back as I tried them on and didn’t like any of them. I packaged them up and sent them off. I got an email a couple of a days later with the refund amount £20. I checked the order and tallied up the amount and it should have been over £30. It took me ages to find any contact info to contact them. The little chat bot on my online account was useless and kept taking me round in circles! When I eventually did find an email address through a thorough search online I sent them an email and they replied and said that one of the items hadn’t been refunded as it hadn’t “passed their inspection” I was confused as I had literally only tried them on briefly. Turns out one of the little sanitary stickers had come loose while I was packing it back into the tiny bag and I hadn’t realised. The fact that I had not even been told this in the first place when the refund was issued I think was disgraceful. I guess they were hoping that I wouldn’t notice it was £10 less! I have tried to argue but they have stuck by the decision and will not be refunding me or giving me the product back. I feel totally done over!! May only be £10 but not the point especially in times like these where people are living pay check to pay check and every penny matters. Will be deleting my account and never ordering from them again!
