Shark carpet expert EX150uk excellent

I purchased the shark carpet expert EX150 series ( carpet cleaner ) I got it on sale for £159. It’s a great machine. Cleans well. Not to loud. Not to heavy, compared to my old bissell. I would say make sure you hoover well beforehand. I did downstairs, but got too carried away and forget to hoover upstairs. I ended up with lots of hair on the brush, as this is not the anti hair wrap model. That’s was £350 and out of my price range. It’s easy to take apart to clean. Took me a while though to do it. But cleaned it after use. And let it all dry before storing. The dry mode does not heat up. It basically goes over the carpet again and sucks up more water. Mine carpets are nearly dry after two hours. Would I recommend, yes. Just make sure you hoover well beforehand.

Appalling customer service

I'm actually pretty shocked and appalled by the customer service I've recieved from this company. Six weeks ago, I left an honest review about their glam hair multi-styler, which I had purchased as a christmas gift for myself. In the review I discussed how the product had damaged my hair after just two uses, the curls never hold regardless of what you do and what product you use, and the only decent tool you get is the straightener which I admit I do like, but you can get cheaper ones that do the same job.
Customer services commented on my review within a couple of days which at the time I found impressive, they let me know that they were keen to resolve this for me and that they had reached out to me via email. I responded to their email the same day. That was six weeks ago and. I have now reached out to them twice to get a resolution, and they have continued to ignore me. They literally commented my my review that they would reach out, sent me one email so that they kept their promise of reaching out and then never actually bothered from there. Honestly I'm really disappointed, up until now shark as a brand were one of my favourites, but I'm absolutely appalled with their customer service if this is the standard they're going for.

Replacement for previous Shark vacuum

Replacement for previous Shark vacuum. New one has a couple of issues. The tool that arrived with the machine does not fit well on either tool retainer (did on old model). Shark still can't put sufficient cable on the machine to allow the plug to hang down when stored. New machine is obviously cheaper to make and feels it.

Fantastic service

I did not know that my vacuum had a 5 year warranty until I called an extremely helpful guy at Shark. Simply gave him the serial number and that was it. My floor nozzle brush had stopped spinning and I received a free replacement the very next day and it was incredibly easy to fit. What fabulous service. Cannot recommend Shark highly enough.

Ordered a steam mop to be delivered…

Ordered a steam mop to be delivered today by DPD. The driver didn't show up but left my appliance at a pick up point 1/2 mile away , which is only open 2 hours early morning 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. with no parking facilities. I tried to notify Shark customer service who disconnected my telephone call halfway through the conversation. I then received an email thanking me for registering the appliance which I hadn't received, although shark products are excellent their customer service leaves a lot to be desired , I found it challenging. Still don't know when or if I'm getting the steam mop

parts constantly breaking

parts constantly breaking. after 6 months 3 parts broken and they want paying for replacements as "consumables" despite 5 year warranty. Absolute garbage. Do not buy

Absolutely love my Shark blower

Absolutely love my Shark blower – it’s powerful and works brilliantly. I made the mistake of testing it indoors on boost mode 🫣 not my brightest idea… I tried it on the radiator 😅 and ended up cleaning for ages afterwards! That said, I’ve used it outside too and it genuinely does a fantastic job.
