Sam Lewis - Not Just Travel Reviews

We’ve just come back from a trip to Taghazout, a village in Morocco and had the most amazing experience. Sam, who was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. She really listened to what we wanted and made everything so easy and stress-free. The whole trip ran smoothly and felt perfectly organised, we couldn’t have asked for better support.
Thank you Sam for making it such a memorable holiday. Highly recommend!

Sam organised an unforgettable holiday to Japan for me and a friend, and everything was perfectly arranged from start to finish. We visited so many amazing places, including Tokyo, where we had a fantastic guided tour that gave us a great introduction to the city and its culture.

We also travelled to Narai-juku and stayed at the beautiful BYAKU Narai, which was a real highlight of the trip. From there we visited Matsumoto and then continued to Kanazawa, where we enjoyed another excellent guided tour as well as a wonderful traditional tea ceremony experience.

In Kyoto we explored the famous geisha and samurai districts and visited some incredible temples with a knowledgeable guide who really brought the history and culture to life. We also travelled to Hiroshima to visit the moving Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, before finishing the trip in Osaka with a brilliant street food experience.

All of the hotels were excellent, and every detail of the holiday was organised smoothly and professionally. Sam made the whole trip stress-free and memorable, and I would highly recommend her to anyone planning a visit to Japan or anywhere else in the world.

Sam organised a fabulous holiday for us in The Gambia. From the moment she received our enquiry with suggestions she sourced all the information we needed to book and the small touches of messaging to check we were ok before and after we flew were especially appreciated. We will definitely be using Sam’s services again. Thank you.

Fantastic experience, would do it again. I also recommended Sam to other friends who were very satisfied with the organisation and care. She understood exactly what we needed and formulated a great holiday for us.

Sam enabled us to visit Norway and Finland with ease. We gave her a list of what we would like to do whilst we were there and she managed to seamlessly fit all of these together into a magical snowy vacation. Having vouchers in place made each stage of the vacation very easy to navigate. We would highly recommend Sam for any holiday destinations you’re wishing to plan.

Sam has done a brilliant job of arranging 2 holidays for us. She takes all the stress away and I look forward to her sorting out trip number 3 next year!

Great communication , safe pair of hands

Sam has organised two wonderful holidays for me recently. The first one was a weekend in Rome for the Longines Global ShowJumping Champions Tour and the second was a Horse Riding Safari in South Africa. The trips were perfectly crafted, Sam's planning was flawless, from flights, transfers, hotels to her personalised touches and quick communication.

We’ve now had two fantastic holidays organised by Sam Lewis – Not Just Any Travel Agent, and she’s already helping us plan a third (with many more to come, I’m sure!).

We’re not an easy family to book a holiday for – everyone has different opinions and preferences – but Sam listened carefully to all our needs and delivered perfectly. She truly took the stress out of holiday planning, which meant I could actually relax and enjoy the trip knowing everything was handled.

Even the small details were taken care of – from making sure we got to the right terminal to arranging smooth transfers. Sam goes above and beyond every time.

We’ll definitely be using her again and can’t recommend her highly enough!

Sam gave us the most amazing holiday we could have wished for! She took our budget and dates and set us up for one of the best holidays in Dubai! Started with seamless transfer, a wonderful upgrade and the most stress free experience! We really cannot thank her enough for all her guidance and expertise to make everything so seamless and easy. We can’t wait for the next holiday!

Sam was absolutely amazing start to finish and made our holiday so easy. She gave us some amazing options and really curated our holiday for us. We did a budget/mid-range trip to Paris and she organised absolutely everything to perfection! The cherry on top was the surprise breakfast in bed she organised for my birthday!

Asking Sam to sort out our holiday was a very smart move for us. She listened very carefully to our rather specific needs and met them completely- and some more! A couple of hiccups, not of Sam’s doing, and she managed them very smoothly. We would not hesitate to recommend her. Thanks Sam

Sam went out of her way to make every detail of our trip easy & stress free. Her knowledge of how the process works helped her anticipate all possible difficulties…. & I can’t recommend her enough.

Sam has arranged three trips for me this year to Germany, Italy and Corfu. All went exactly to plan and exceeded our expectations. Not only does using Sam take the hassle out of arranging an holiday yourself, I found that Sam saved us money compared to the likes of using Expedia etc.
We won't be going anywhere else or dealing with booking direct again.

Outstanding service. Sam made a huge effort to get to know us and our requirements through a couple of longer calls. She then came back with plenty of options for our planned holiday. We had many calls and emails, nothing was ever too much for her and she worked tirelessly to come up with the best possible package for our needs and budget. The result was fantastic and just the holiday we hoped for. It's obvious she is an experienced travel writer from the quality and location of the hotels. When one of us was unwell she rescheduled our pre-paid tours to Pompeii (at her company's expense) so we did not miss it. She was always contactable when we were away and kept in touch but was never intrusive. A really great service, which takes all the time and trouble out of planning- thank you Sam.

I was recommended Sam by a friend. I am so glad I took the leap of faith to be guided by her advice and suggestions. For someone that does not have the time to sit in front of a screen and trowel through endless options, Sam took care of all of this and refined my search by truly listening to what we wanted from our holiday. It was the best hotel we have ever stayed in!
I will be recommending her to all of my friends! Thanks Sam for making our holiday so memorable.

Sam put together an amazing 3 centre Thailand trip and her attention to detail was second to none!
The hotel selection fit the brief exactly and due to Sam’s hard work behind the scenes, we got far more than expected. Such a great holiday!

Sam was great to deal with . She has helped me organise two holidays now . Even when I had been unsure of what I wanted she was patient and helpful , really listens to why you want .
Has great knowledge of locations and the things that are important .

Sam met the brief. Made it easy. Picked the right hotel for us. Even arranged a film crew and stars to be at the hotel. Thank you. All I had to really do is agree and pay. She also checked up on us along the way. Amazing!!

Amazing holiday.
Sam completely understood our holiday wishes and more than delivered.
So helpful all the way through and kept in constant touch to make sure all was going to plan as we had several destinations on our trip.
Highly recommend!
