Everything is good is only 1 thing I have a problem with the Velcro that you guys used it doesn’t go with the durability of your vest you need to used a better one

My only complaint is the name tag is on the back instead of the front.
Everything else is greate very comfortable vest

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience.

From the beginning, this order was plagued by delays, missed timelines, and poor communication.

My order was originally placed with the expectation that all components would be completed and shipped together. As the delays continued, I repeatedly reached out for updates and was given revised timelines that were not met. On April 13, I was specifically told that the order was only awaiting completion of the side straps, that the team was expediting the process, and that it was expected to be ready that week. I was also told it would ship via next-day air once completed.
Weeks passed after that update with no shipment, no tracking information, and no proactive communication.

To make matters worse, I was told that my concealment armor would ship together with the rest of the order. Instead, it arrived separately, leaving me unable to use the system as intended. Because of these delays, I was forced to make difficult professional decisions. I had to turn down work assignments and opportunities because I did not have the armor I had purchased and was repeatedly told would be delivered. For someone who relies on this equipment for work, that is not a minor inconvenience—it directly affected my ability to do my job.
As the delays continued, I sent a detailed email expressing my concerns and asking direct questions about the status of my order, why previous commitments had not been honored, and when I could realistically expect delivery. Rather than addressing those concerns, I received a generic response a day later stating that my order was shipping and that tracking information would follow shortly. None of my questions were answered.
I have now received the order, and I appreciate that the company ultimately fulfilled it. However, receiving the product does not erase months of frustration caused by missed deadlines, broken expectations, and a lack of meaningful communication.
What disappointed me most was not the delay itself. Manufacturing delays can happen. What disappointed me was the repeated failure to provide accurate updates, the lack of accountability when promised timelines were missed, and the feeling that my concerns as a customer were not important enough to warrant a direct response.
Even after receiving the order, I have yet to receive any meaningful acknowledgment of the concerns I raised throughout this process. A simple apology, explanation, or recognition of the impact these delays had on me would have gone a long way.
I purchased this equipment because I depend on it professionally. When customers are spending significant amounts of money on life-saving protective equipment, they deserve honest communication, realistic timelines, and responsive customer service. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.
While the product may ultimately meet expectations, the customer service and communication throughout this order process fell far short of what I would expect from a company selling life-safety equipment.

Was not happy with the service . They gave me a demo of what the patch is going to look like . I said ok the sample looks good. When I got the final product it was not like the sample they gave me. They said the sample could not fit . I wish they told me that earlier . So I told them I wanted it like the sample they showed me . So they made another patch that look like the sample . And I had to pay for the correction.

Good fit & looks & feels great, need to order the ceramic plates for it

The quality of the material is great and it fits comfortable.

The quality of materials and proper fit are great. It is obvious that Safe Life Defense creates a well made vest and they take pride in doing it. I called their customer service for advice on sizing and the agent was spot on regarding his recommendation. Shipping and packing was prompt and professional.

I had a situation where my expected items were stolen from my home location I then notified safe life and the representative took care of the matter. I received my items at a later date than you I really appreciate your customer service

I have not received my order after two weeks of waiting. I received a message from the UPS tracking stating there is a problem with the order
Stating the carton was empty. I called safe life to see when the replacement will be delivered. They stated a claim was filed and I will have to wait 10 to 14 days for the claim to clear. Then it will another week shipping . That will be 5 weeks just to get my original order
I ask about the refund of my money
I was told I could get a store credit, I feel like that is forcing me to stay with them

The customer service is amazing. I emailed for an ETA of my order. They reached out to me really fast to discuss options and time frames. Emails were read fast and responded to just as fast. I love my ballistics set up. Fits perfectly and feels more comfortable then most plate carrier I've owned. Extremely satisfied with my order, 10/10 I recommend

Long waiting time after order, poor quality of product, mediocre customer service

The vest fits and wears well. Like the fact that it is both bullet resistant and slash and stab resistant. This is very important as sometime knives are encountered and not guns. The updates about shipping status were timely and kept me informed. The company is very professional in customer treatment and vest quality and protection.

Prices a little to high for protection but amazing products. Just wish I could afford it.
