They ignore customers, and dont seem to ship the item out
A week ago, i paid for "COVERT/OVERT VEST - BLACK", but the order seems to have been ignored as there are no status updates on the order/tracking page, it's not even shipped out yet. I started to grow worried, and Emailed SafeGuardClothing at the official customer support address, but it got ignored. So i emailed again, and again, but so far i got entirely ignored. I am in Netherlands, and they claim worldwide shipping is possible, they even have a specific NL site to buy their items, i expected to be able to get this stab and bulletproof vest to raise my confidence living in a rough area of my village, as i have experienced violence before. I am quite upset now that they seem to be attempting to scam me, and take my money without ever sending the item, or replying to me about what's going on. I will see if PayPal can help get the money back, but it was a balance payment and not CC, so i doubt there's as much buyer protection in this case. I will also seek to report this company for scamming, or if i somehow manage to get my money back, for Attempted Scamming. If they still ship my item, reply to me in a decent way, or take initiative to return my money and explain why this happened, i may be willing to remove or modify this review. But so far it looks like they want to scam, or that the company is no longer operational yet still accepts orders.
Be careful, people, unreliable company. I saw the other review saying that they stonewalled him, well, it clearly is happening to me here, albeit at a different stage: without ever hands on with the item.
// Edit (3 days later): they finally began to answer, and said there was warehouse delays but that they asked for it to be shipped the same day, which has worked, as i received the UPS tracking info moments later. So far it looks like it's going to work out, and also they claim that no emails were received, if that's truthful then it means the website contact form was my only savior to bring it to their attention. I don't know if its true, if it is so, then they got a misconfigured mail server: i am using Hotmail and never heard such a thing from any global recipient or company before, and i've sent them screenshots with timestamps. Anyways, i gave them the recommendation to improve customer services, and im satisfied that it was no scam and im still set to receive the vest after all, even with a bit of trouble. Once in contact, they were friendly. But know, if someone in the future can't reach them by traditional Email, maybe they didnt fix whatever the problem on their mail server was, you'd need to use the website Contact form to work around that for whatever reason, or it wasn't true (that they may not care/reach out to inquiries unless you make noise and leave bad reviews).
