Outstanding Service
I've purchased four seats from Safe Journey in the past 3.5 years - one infant carrier and 3 ERF seats. Each time the expert advice and customer service has been excellent, and any queries I've had (of which there were many!) have always been answered very quickly, even years after the purchase was made. When my children require HBBs I will definitely be purchasing them from Safe Journey.

I ordered after seeing she had put an offer on a seat i had been eyeing up.
Very good and then i installed myself.
After a few months i had some issues with the position of my seat and i did contact her and sent videos but was hard to explain.
I asked her if i could drive to her and she could show me how to fit properly and she did show me and was really helpful and showed me the nack how to do it properly.
Friendly helpful lady and sorted me a car belt safety clip thing.
Only constructive criticism is to work on communication skills because if i didn’t drive down i would of been stuck with a car seat that would of not been installed 100% correct.
But im a happy customer

I purchased an axkid minikid 2 from this company.. the delivery, communication and after service was absolutely amazing! Couldn't recommend this place enough!
Order not delivered (paid 2 weeks ago) and company not responding
Update: After I left this review, they magically responded to me! Apparently they could not see my previous two emails and gave the excuse that they do not check their emails immediately anyway. Shockingly unprofessional. I sent them screenshots to prove that I had emailed twice and requested a refund. They did return the money fairly promptly, but did not email me again and at no point was there any apology for the massive inconvenience. Their customer service is sorely lacking in basic manners.
I ordered a car seat on 27th February. The website banner advertised next day delivery on most car seats (this banner is still live on the website). After I ordered and paid, I received a confirmation email which contained a line to say that orders are taking longer than usual to despatch. This is extremely sneaky given the website advertisement to change the delivery estimate after ordering.
We are now 2 weeks after ordering and no car seat has been delivered. This seat is to replace a broken one, and consequently we are currently unable to travel in the car. This is hugely frustrating and inconvenient and I only ordered from them because they advertised fast delivery.
I emailed on 5th March to ask for an update but the company ignored this.
I emailed again a week later on 12th March to chase up and to ask the company to either delivery by today (Friday 13th) or refund me. They have ignored this as well.
Since they don't respond to emails but I can see they have replied to some customers on Trust Pilot, I will inform them here - If you do not deliver my car seat or refund me by next Friday (20th March) then I will begin the chargeback process with my credit card company. I am only giving an extra week so as to demonstrate to the credit card company that I have exhausted every avenue.
From looking at reviews by customers whose orders have not gone smoothly, it seems that this is a company which cannot resolve problems when they arise and does not have the most basic customer service skills or courtesy to even respond to customers who contact them.

Issues with communication and no support
I preface this by saying it is meant at constructive feedback and I hope it is received as such.
I ordered a car seat from safe journey car seats as support and advice around installation is advertised as part of the service. I even message the website chat to double check that I would be able to get advice after purchasing and I was told yes it’s part of the service.
After purchasing I reached out on the website chat, after over a week I got nothing back I reached out on social media and email as I was unsure if the messages on the chat were going through.
Someone then got back to me straight away and then after I had messaged back to ask for advice I got nothing back, still to this day. This has been all over the period of about a month.
I completely understand that this business is ran by a Mom that might have other priorities and might not be able to get back to customers straight away but during this period there was little to no communication. I am also a Mom who is anxious about the safety of her child and this is why I ordered from this particular business as I was assured support but I have essentially been ghosted.
I wouldn’t not buy from safe journey car seats again as I was told I would get support and received nothing, which is quite disappointing.
I believe there is an issue with communication that needs to be addressed. Even if a potential timeframe was given for replies so customers would not be left completely in the dark, anxious that their child is not completely safe in the car seat purchased, or that the promise of advice should come with a disclaimer that it might not be possible to receive that service all together as if I knew this I would’ve purchased elsewhere.
*Respectfully, I sent multiple pictures and gave multiple nudges, on the chat and through email and social media, the negative review is reflective of my experience.

I ordered a car seat on 22 January. I didn’t receive a confirmation but had been charged. After a few days wait, I sent a message on Instagram only to be told there was a ‘glitch’ in the system and I should have received an email to say the item was out of stock. I was told that more stock would come in the following week.
To no one’s surprise, the week passed and no car seat arrived and no further communication received. I’ve tried emailing and sending social media messages asking for a refund. All messages are being ignored. In the meantime, the same car seat is still available to order on the website.
I’ve had to order the car seat from another retailer and I’m left out of pocket by over £200 while I fight to get my money back. Despicable behaviour.

I brought a car seat from SJCS’s, from the initial contact to receiving my car seat I was well informed on what I should buy given the age and weight of my child, I was also updated on my delivery so I could easily be available in and around work to recieve my car seat. Overall I’ve had a fantastic experience with Safe Journey and il be purchasing again when my new family addition arrives in the Summer

Sarah has been absolutely amazing. From the second I contacted her she’s been so helpful to an anxious FTM. I’ve asked so many questions and felt like a right pain but she has been so reassuring. The seat arrived next day, which was so quick and little one is so much more settled in her seat! No more stressful and upset car journeys! Thank you!!!
Terrible communication
Terrible communication! I’ve never known a company so difficult to contact. Did not state item was out of stock at point of ordering, it took 2 weeks of waiting and chasing to be told they didn’t even have the items I purchased in stock. I then waited another 2 weeks with still no update on my order. Only now have I had my order cancelled today and my money refunded after I submitted a dispute via PayPal as I was sick of having my calls, emails and messages ignored. I’m very disappointed as I have previously made a purchase from this company with no issues. Customer service has taken a significant nose dive which is evident from other reviews. Hopefully the company makes some changes to change this.

Recently ordered a Max safe pro luxe
Recently ordered a Mac safe pro luxe. After having the axkid minikid2 for a while my little one complained her back was hurting so upgraded to the max safe pro. She’s much happier now. Lots more room too with the spacer than came with it. Happy baby happy mum! I did ask a few questions before ordering and the staff got straight back to me and answered them straight away. Perfect communication and was sent pretty quick considering it was over the Xmas period. We also got the seat at a great price (it was an open box) which suited my budget even better. Won’t have any problems recommending anyone to come here to buy a car seat for the children. Thanks again

I recently purchased an avionaut stardust for my daughter from Safe Journey Car Seats. Delivery was a little delayed due to Christmas and the bad weather and then stock issues with the inserts but communication was great and I was kept updated on the order. Once dispatched it arrived very quickly and is an amazing seat. The fit check and installation support is amazing also. I'd definitely recommend Safe Journey Car Seats to anyone. Thank you 😊

I previously bought a car seat through this company and had an excellent experience. However on buying a second car seat in October, I was told it was due to be delivered mid-November and I accepted the delay. It is now mid-December and I have no car seat and there has been zero communication about the futher delay to delivery. I've tried all the possible ways of contacting the company with no response. I hope to get a refund and take my business elsewhere. Very frustrating experience.
