I enjoy purchasing sabers at every comic con in chicago that ive attented. Never had any regrets or problems with acquiring a saber from these guys. I plan on getting another saber when i go back to C2E2 2027!

Some technical issues, but prompt and helpful customer service
Overview of my experience:
Ordered the First Steps lightsaber, while tracking was very vague, I received it within 3 weeks and was very happy with it despite one issue, the motion sensor was too sensitive and was prone to turning off randomly. Customer service was very prompt and answered all my questions plus more, and I was later surprised with a replacement saber core to fix the issue. Would order from them again
You 100% get your money's worth. Question is if you want to spend.
I purchased the double bladed Bastilla model called "Meditant's Edge". It came exactly as advertized. The sabers I got are robustly made, durable (I would know; I banged the blade against a metal parking pole like a caveman to test), and were delivered quickly without fuss. I understand some on this page have had trouble with shipping, and that is a genuine concern, but hey! DHL is gonna DHL.
They feel heavier than expected, which owes to the quality of material used to make the hilt, and the sound effects feedback on striking are very good! The only issue is the power button on one of the two does not always turn the blade off, which probably has to do with how the battery pack is siting in the metal hilt not always being properly aligned. That's not a big deal though. The only disappointment, functionally, is the fiddling you need to do to change the saber from double-bladed to two single bladed sabers. I wish it was an easier and more intuitive, and without the need of an Allen key, so I can change between the two configurations in the middle of a duel, Cal Kestis style.
I got my money's worth for sure, but I compare it to another pair of sabers I own that I got for 120 bucks on Amazon, and while I can see SaberX's models are indisputably of higher quality, the two are comparable in terms of function, with a 250 dollar price difference. I can even change between single bladed and double bladed configs on my cheaper sabers without needing an Allen key, which is my only hangup with my SaberX ones.
I would recommend this company to anyone looking for an upgrade from the Amazon level sabers, but I would recommend people get one of those 99 buck Amazon stunt sabers FIRST to see if its what they want, and if they do like the concept of the product, upgrade to a SaberX model if you are hooked, because you will get way more mileage out of the SaberX ones. The quality upgrade, not necessarily more functionality, is what you are paying for. I would also recommend people wait till a discount or sale is offered before purchasing from this store. Their holiday sales make it easier to bite the bullet on an, admittedly, impulsively nerdy purchase.

Long story short
Long story short, I purchased from this company because it is Canadian, with most sellers being from the US and requiring longish wait times to get the product.
WELL... despite spending over 700 CAD including overnight 2 day air shipping in December 2025, I didn't find out until January that in fact, my order was on a cargo ship from China, with no chance of receiving it in an appropriate time frame.
I looked deeper into the issue and learned 2 things. First, this company operates primarily as a drop shipper, with the exact models of lightsaber I purchased, and I really do mean exactly the same, being found on Alibaba for 70% less and quoting realistic wait times for shipping, which this Canadian company did not clarify despite me paying for 2 day shipping.
Second, they obfuscate responsibility and apply a strategy of "communicate with the customer to give the appearance," of something being done to address concerns, with no concrete actions taken.
I requested my money back upon realizing that I would need to wait weeks to get an order shipped from China, and then after doing research realized I had just been upsold the same goods from the Chinese companies they order from (TXQ, and LGT), for WAY more than what they are sold for directly.
They refused to give me the refund and just continued to email back "we are looking into it," "we are escalating for internal review," "we are internally investigating," over the course of 5 weeks.
I ultimately had to initiate a charge back which has since been approved because this company also claimed the lightsabers a "12 dollar glow sticks," to customs, thus halting the package at the border because even they realized this was.... sus.
Don't buy from this company. They do the absolute bare minimum required to avoid consumer protection agencies getting involved by simply responding to emails, but never taking concrete steps to correct. It's subtle to no one and quite malicious.
On top of that, they are primarily selling things that from Alibaba cost 50 CAD with shipping, for anywhere from 150 to 350 CAD on the SaberX site.
These are not serious people, and the suspected import and document fraud has been reported to the authorities. I strongly advise anyone who has experienced similar issues with orders being "held up," at the border, to report this to the CBSA. We were told they act when enough has been established to demonstrate a pattern. I have a funny feeling I was not the first.
What they should have done, is refunded my order within 24 hours of my request. None of this would have happened. Would not have researched.
Okay company, now respond with your blanket statement, deny responsibility, commit to transparency and improvement, and more garbage not worth reading. To anyone else, avoid them completely.

UPDATE: Based on the reply given by the company below, I need to clarify a few points, as the company is once again not taking accountability.
To be clear, while Saber X claims the customs documentation issue was “never intentional,” the incorrect commercial invoice caused a month and a half delay, and I personally had to contact the shipping company to resolve it — Saber X did not provide actionable assistance.
Although they claim neither the customer nor the company can expedite customs clearance, their responses were vague, inconsistent, and eventually stopped entirely, leaving me to handle the matter on my own. In reality, customs clearance could have been expedited if they had provided correct documentation from the start.
I share this feedback not to debate intentions, but to emphasize the impact: the combination of incorrect documentation, inconsistent communication, and lack of accountability caused significant frustration and delay. My matter has now been fully resolved only through the chargeback, completely independent of any help from Saber X.

My experience with this company has dragged on for two months with no resolution. I ordered three lightsabers with express shipping in late December and never received them.
The package has been held in customs for over a month because the seller provided incorrect documentation to customs, drastically undervaluing the contents (they claimed I purchased $12 worth of glowsticks). When I contacted them to cancel and request a refund due to non-delivery, I received repeated “we’re looking into it” responses with no actual solution. Eventually, they stopped responding altogether. I ultimately had to file a chargeback with my credit card company to recover my money.
Terrible customer service, no accountability, and an incredibly frustrating experience. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Buyer beware
Buyer beware. In September 2025 I ordered 2 Sabers from their website, the Purolator tracking information I was provided never showed any information. After 1 month of not receiving the product and tracking information showing nothing, I contacted SaberX. I was given some explanation about how they shipped through another carrier who would "hand off" to Purolator and to be patient. After a period of time with no product or tracking update, I followed up weekly and was give answers ranging from that they would follow up with other departments or the third party carrier.
After about 3 months of not receiving the product or any tracking information, I requested refund, I was first told that the order had "shipped" so they were unable to cancel. After more follow ups, I was offered either a 50% refund and keep item (not acceptable as the item wasn't arriving) or to return the item for 100% refund when it arrived (also not acceptable as clearly the item wasn't arriving).
I had to file a claim with Paypal to get my money back after about 3.5 months. SaberX ignored the Paypal dispute process entirely.
I never receive my saber
I never receive my saber. I wrote 2 emails and you tell me that you will try to send me one.
