Our booking went well. Our host was great and responsive. It was a great weekend! My daughter's graduation trip to a music festival will be one she always remembers. It was so nice to have mini-home b... See more

Beware of Unscrupulous Cancellation Fees
To future RVezy customers: beware of unscrupulous business practices. I booked an RV for the summer of 2024 for a family trip that we were planning across Western Canada. After much research, I booked an RV in October 2023 for travel dates in August 2024. The owner of the RV that I reserved offered flexible cancellation, which was one of the reasons I paid a premium for the RV that I booked. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to amend our travel plans and trip dates, and the RV that we requested was (understandably) not available for our revised dates. We proceeded to cancel our reservation in April, well in advance of the 30 day cancellation window. Unfortunately, RVezy withheld “service fees” from our paid deposit, which amounted to a total $708.55. Now I will admit full responsibility for this oversight, and for failing to read the fine print of the cancellation policy. However, I assumed (incorrectly) that the cancellation policy would be similar to industry standards. When I have cancelled a booking through AirBnB, I receive a full refund. Even the airline industry, which is notorious for their inflexibility, charges cancellation fees of up to $150 maximum. Paying a “cancellation fee” of $708.55 from RVezy seems excessive at best and unethical at worst. What service did they provide to justify this cost? I caution future RVezy customers to review the cancellation policy and consider this before booking with this service.

Withholding my money
Currently discussing with Abdul via email. I paid a security deposit of $1500 and had a deductible of $750 for insurance. Damage happened which I spoke to the owner straight away so I accept I pay the $750 deductible. I have however been charged $ 1000 deductible and told I will get the remainder after the claim resolution. This isn’t right! I have email from Abdul saying I will receive $750 nothing about receiving $500 and the rest after the claim resolution. I can’t even see this on your website. Shocking customer service

They are not the worst
They are not the worst, but there are many issues with the platform. First of all, as one would expect, the earnings are greatly exaggerated. RVs tend to rent for two-night trips at best. RVezy takes about 30% of the host's fee, plus HST that is deducted separately. They say that their fee is 20%, but their fee comes to 30% of the rental price ($84 plus $11 HST on a $250 rental fee).
To the renter, they charge $86 in insurance on top of $250 rental, plus $69 RVezy Service Fee and $20 in taxes.
So, on a $250 rental, they earn $84 from the owner and $69 from the renter. They probably also make a commission from the insurance.
Possibly the most disconcerting is the insurance aspect. There were a couple of instance where a minor damage happened, one that was difficult to pinpoint to a specific renter. It may have just been due to the use of the RV (a hole in the propane tank hose, a scratch on the roof that caused a minor leak, things you may not see right away). Of course, these are just wear and tear, but one which would be minimal if the RV was only used by the owner. The income from renting just about covered the repairs, so all-in-all you end up working for free to allow others to use your RV.
We did have one major damage, a flat tire, which meant replacing both tires and one rim. RVezy said they don't cover tires. They don't seem to cover anything else either and you would have to ask the renter to cover it from their deposit. I find the insurance utterly useless unless the RV is seriously damaged, but I hope I will never find out if they would cover anything in that case.
It would be cheaper to get a commercial license for the RV for the summer months and rent it out yourself, charging each renter a portion of your monthly premium for the insurance would be far cheaper than the $80 RVezy charges anyway.

Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. An awning broke, snapped while we were sitting under it- we did nothing but use it for its intended purpose of shade and it clearly was defective or in poor quality. The company would not hear our side of the story and went ahead and charge us $1500 to replace the owners awning. The customer service representatives I dealt with were absolutely no use.
I understand if we broke something due to misuse or irresponsibility, but we did everything we were supposed to do and we were still charged an exorbitant amount of money.
We did not have a sunshade the entire vacation and we had to pay more than our actual rental . There was no negotiation and customer service blamed us. I highly recommend NOT using this company

Save yourself the headache and go with RV Share or Outdoorsy. Customer service and user experience is severely lacking. We have lost thousands of dollars on this platform on top of countless hours wasted with no resolve from the company.

What a terrible company
What a terrible company. Took a few hundred dollars from me for holding a reservation for 48 hours months before the trip. Refused any sort of refund aside from a credit that I could use at their crappy company. No thanks. Use Outdoorsy or RVshare, you'll be happy you did.
Website and customer service were both…
Website and customer service were both terrible. Rented an RV, got a confirmation number. RVezy had no problem quickly charging my credit card $650, but can't help when they cancelled my reservation for no reason. They also said the host cancelled a second reservation, but she did not. Customer service was terrible. They advised me to just reserve another rv to the tune of another $650 without trying in any way to help me. Then the rv was showing as booked for the dates needed. I won't use them again. RVnotEZ.

I enjoyed booking on RVezy
I enjoyed booking on RVezy. It was easy to use both the website and app. Everything went really well on our trip. I just booked a second trip! I feel that I can trust the information provided on the RVs. The owner for our first trip was really nice and flexible.
Great Experience
Super easy process and we ended up with a great RV! Can’t wait to rent again this year!
Easy process
Easy process, found the RV we needed and it all went smoothy.
My experience with Rvezy
My experience with RVezy was amazing, always when I had a problem or a question the costumer service answered me in a few hours and always with a good solution. It is really easy to use the app and good communication with the host and costumer service.
Mixed but overall positive
Rented an RV which 1 day before trip was unavailable. Thru RV ezy, found another willing RV owner who was lovely and got the RV ready quickly. He took really good care of us, and we travelled across BC with my aging parents in reasonable comfort.
Only peeve - the insurance that is required - you MUST read the fine print, as it's hard to access, hard to use and covers only limited thing (no collisions, only roadside assistance). It's very expensive and I found it unhelpful.
Wonderful experience
Wonderful experience! Our first time renting and won't be out last. RV was exactly as described. Our host was helpful and made the process fast and easy.
The Most Epic Trip!
In September 2023, my boyfriend, our husky and I set out on the most epic van adventure of a lifetime. We rented a camper van off a wonderful couple on RVezy and it was AMAZING! I've already recommended RVezy to friends and family for their next camping adventure because the process was so easy!

Very seamless process to rent an RV. We had a great experience and felt comfortable and safe renting through RVezy. The app made it even easier to talk to our host as well
Easy to find RVs in one place

A+ in New Orleans
Had a fantastic rental trailer from RVezy in New Orleans! So very impressed with the owner and the attention to detail, even adding a few extra items I needed as I was flying in for Mardi Gras. Excellent experience. I will use them again!
