Rootle is on a mission to make selling your unwanted valuables as easy as it should always have been. For most of us, selling the things we no longer use is more trouble than it's worth - endless listings, low-ball offers, and no-show buyers. We thought it should be simpler, and fairer. So we built Rootle: a photo-based way to find out what your belongings are really worth, without the hassle. Here's how it works. Snap a photo of anything you'd like to sell - old coins, jewellery, a camera, a phone - and we'll send you a fair, no-obligation valuation in as little as 60 minutes. Like the offer? Post your items with free insured postage, and once they reach us our specialists check everything over before we confirm your offer and pay you - often the same day. Fast, fair offers, and the choice is yours. Rootle is built by a team who've grown some of the UK's best-loved consumer brands — because we believe everything's worth something.

Tried their new valuing flow

I tried their new valuing flow and got an acknowledgement within 5 mins that I didn't qualify, urging me to add more detail. Comms from the company were good throughout. I'll retry the flow another time with some jewellery of the ex-wife's.

Inaccurate and poor communication

I uploaded two expensive items and had no response at all, even after 4 days. The email on the website cannot be recognised and no response when I left a message on their Facebook page. All in all, very disappointing.

Great to sell stuff for fair value

A very nice, simple to use website.
So handy for someone like me who has loads of stuff laying around and don’t want to throw it out or post it on vinted and get a range of lowball offers.
Used it for a few of my pieces I’ve got from my dad and didn’t have the foggiest what they could get me. Was recommended it by a friend who said they’d just launched recently, which made be a bit hesitant initially but It’s a no-risk offer so barrier to use it’s virtually none.
Helpful staff too and quick responses.
