Service that could have had a potential but the owners are too greedy to let it grow.
If you’re advertising and you have a spare 70.- a month just to be able to get in touch with the person interested in your ad it’s just for you.
I wish it worked at least like tinder so that both an interested person and a seller could match up and exchange contacts for future potential collaboration.
If you’re advertising for free there is no way to get the contact information of people interested in your offer. Sending a “flash message” does absolutely nothing and once you introduce your contact details in the ad itself the technical Roomgo team is quick to edit your ad as you’re “disclosing personal information that could be dangerous” and removes your last hope that the people interested in your listing could get in touch with you.
I will never be using this service again and I don’t recommend it.

There’s nothing we take more seriously than the safety and security of all our users. Our top priority is making sure all our users are safe while using the website. When personal details are added to a description, these details can be accessed on public search tools such as Google, which exposes you to scammers and phishers. However, we do have contact options available on the website where your contact details can safely be added.
Adele, we work hard to keep our prices affordable, and for this reason we offer different packages available from 7 days to 12 months to suit all needs and budgets.
Also, kindly note that the Premium membership is only an additional feature for those who would like to speed up their search process and free communication is actually available for Basic members.
Indeed, Basic members can send customized messages to Premium members, and interest messages to other Basic members to inform them that they are interested in their ad.

Depressing to see that people actually pay for a site with low traffic while you can do the same for free on sites with high traffic. What a shameless exploitation of stupidity (if the paying profiles are actually from real people). At last they don't read the ads and i could post a (non machine readable) link to a free website with the same ad.

Please bear in mind that the rental market has taken a hit since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. Potential tenants and especially international students are now very hesitant to move out. As a result, rental demands have witnessed a remarkable drop in recent months.
Besides, we would like to inform you that Roomgo is a free site. All our members can create an account, post an ad and search for potential flatmates/tenants. Moreover, they can also send interest messages to Basic members and customized messages to Premium members. The Premium membership is indeed helpful, but it is definitely not mandatory.
Further, please also be informed that the content of the website is constantly reviewed by a dedicated team of moderators. The moderation process is a key element of our business and we have an international team of moderators that checks all the profiles to ensure that the website is always safe for you and that only real people are using it.
It is true that some members might not be very active, which is obviously frustrating for you. However, be assured that we try everything to contact these members asking them to check the new ads and reply to their messages. We also do deactivate accounts if they have been inactive for longer than 14 days.
