I would provide a minus number if…

I would provide a minus number if available. Rogers have basically setup their business to rob their clients. When my contract ended after the purchase of a new phone on one of their plans they came back with a bill of more than what I was paying when paying for my phone. Getting to talk to customer service was a challenge in itself and they were not pleasant or helpful. When I finally talked to someone about a better plan they charged me a fee so I moved to a new provider, Freedom. Unannounced to me as I had my bill payments setup for automatic payment, when I cancelled my account at the end of the month they said I still owed for a change. I had the bank cancel the automatic charge on my card. So Rogers then charged me $112 on my account for an NSF. Compete theft all the way around and then I got to deal with very rude people so if this were the last service on earth I would still consider a different option. This type of business should not be allowed and that what we get when there is a monopoly.

Still billing despite cancellation

2nd try with Rogers, a company that never misses an opportunity to gouge its clients. Terrible service. Months after cancelling, Rogers is still billing us, as is Rogers with Shaw or whatever they call themselves.

ROGERS DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS

I've been a Rogers customer of 14 years and for the entire time, I've felt lack of customer care of service support that I can no longer accept. Here's a handful a problems that come to mind:

1. I live in Victoria, BC and because Victoria is 90km away from the closest American towers, I get charged Roaming charges every month that I need to call in and tell them to remove every month, which ends up being a 6 hour phone call.

2. They charge me $75 as a punishment charge for my credit card being switched over in their system and because they try and charge my old credit card that I've cancelled in their system instead of using my new system, they charge a $75 "Non sufficient funds" charge, which is completely not true

3. I work close to the University of Victoria and I don't even have cell phone service where I work

I've switched over to Telus a couple months ago and all these problems have gone away PLUS I'm paying less money

system is engineered to not be helpful, its not an accident

Briefly, Rogers should be embarrassed and the CRTC should act. Both by phone to customer support and via their AI assistant one gets led into death spirals of menu's that eventually lead to disconnection. This is not a system glitch, this is exactly how Rogers engineers customer service, it would frankly be honest to just not provide a phone number for customer service with maybe a note saying "we have zero interest in talking to you, hearing from you, working with you, so go away, no number, no help, no nothing'. Just be honest Rogers. You can fix this, you don't want to, you are fine as corporate policy in insulting your customers, locking them into phone menu's an AI assistant "Anna' that is not sufficiently capable of understanding or given programed options to default to a "human in the loop". With an annual net income in 2025 of 4.93 billion, this is a "we truly don't care" issue, not a customer service hiccup. Treating customers poorly is policy, be honest, show some integrity, plaster on your billboard and TV adds, "Rogers, thank for helping us to 4.93 billion in revenue, now get lost, save yourself time and don't waste our dog and pony show effort to pretend we care" "hang up go away, we've got your money, that's who we are; stop thinking we care, we don't" Until the CRTC acts to address the telecom industry in Canada, make the dollars you can, we will bail as soon as the government allows competition.

I had a problem caused by a Roger’s update, I called Roger’s only to be kept online waiting for 2 hours. Finally got an answer only to be transferred to another area and waiting again for another 30 minutes. I’m so fed up I’ll have to hang up and try again later it tomorrow. This is just disgusting and very unprofessional. I’m ready to cancel Rogers.

One star is not even deserved for…

One star is not even deserved for Rogers, Its ridicules, I was trying to reach out customer service to change my internet service from old location to new location, I reached the 3 days continuously, First time I stayed almost 5 hours (its ridicules 5 hours of my time and 5 hours of my life spent for receiving one answer from them) with no answer, second day 3 hours, third day 2 hours. Its so funny, You charge your customers good enough but you dont pay for hiring more staff to answer your customers phone? is there any organization exist in Canada to fine these kind of greedy companies?? Rogers collect its money ONTIME with not even 1 cents lower every time, but what about service? I hate these kind of people, Just collecting money from regular people, filling your pockets with our money and when it comes to giving service and prove your self, we should waste our valuable time hours and hours to talk with one agent for 5 min. You guys are SOOOO FUUUNNYYY

Wifi Router and Laptop Wifi Driver compatibilty issues

I recently converted my cell service, my wifi, and tv to Rogers. The cell service and tv are fine. However, I am faced with having to replace my laptop because the Rogers wifi router and the wifi driver in my computer are not compatible. Rogers ought to have known about this potential issue but did not inform me of it.

Hello im OK

Hello im OK, waited for chat until I spoke with nguteteodile identified myself and he closed chat waste 30mins.
Then on the phone 1.45hr nala rude took 30 mins to identify me was talking over me had to explain the issue three-four times she told me wait il be right back, proceeded to wait 5 mins and she hung up, she called back phone rang once and she hung up again, obviously purposely.

Id like to get the stream saver added to my account and a DISCOUNT on my account I have wasted today 1hr at the store getting the contract set up for internet and mobile and 2.15hr on chat and phone to be rudely cut off.
And an extra 88 queue position wait to speak to you of course.

Signed up and charged for something I did not ask for.

My rating is due to 💸 ng. I was signed up for Device protection and did not request it. Rogers could not find any contract at first, after several hours on the phone. Then referred me to Likewize. A separate company. I have been battling this for several months. Likewize says too bad and insults ne with$4.00 refund. They owe me over $309 . They are long distance charges on the phone. Had to battle for that back. Now Rogers refuses to answer my emails ,Office of the President, Kimberley had continually said the same thing. I am a legacy customer and they do not care. Continued emails ignored, and no solution to my charges. How goes a company have no connection to a company they use? How can they not find it on my phone contract?
They cannot produce a document, nor Likewize. I am directed to go to Mobile shop! Their mistake I have spent countless hours on the phone and emails. I am directed to now go to a store? Terrible customer service I I will not be renewing my phones after this. Disgusting.

Inappropriate and failed service technicians

The service I received from Rogers was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. The technician made me very uncomfortable by asking to inspect my Cables throughout my house and then my breaker panel and wandering through my home for reasons that had nothing to do with my internet service. Very inappropriate.
Outside, my internet line was connected through a splitter with a neighbour's, despite paying for premium service. After three technician visits, the problem still wasn't resolved. Instead of fixing the issue, Rogers kept sending different technicians. Why Wasn't the problem solved the first time When it was clear to me what the issue was?? Are they creating more work for each other?? No wonder our bill is so high. Are they scouting out my house?? Whoever is handling the technicians should be fired. Hghly inappropriate on every level.

I negotiated a 2 year contract with…

I negotiated a 2 year contract with Roger’s in April 2026. They bumped up the cost in May/June by $60! When we called end of June they said they had no record of the contract we negotiated. We had to re negotiate and settle for a bill $10 per month higher for 2 more years! Beware of their business practices!

Very bad customer service at Rogers

I was with Rogers for long time and decided to switch to another carrier in June 2026, Rogers called me after my exit. One employee from Rogers called back to see if I can come back by matching my existing plan. He knew that my current plan is too good, he said something in Hindi to another worker and hung up the call. Where do Rogers find employees like this. I am super glad I am no longer with Rogers.

I’d give it a zero if I could

I’d give it a zero if I could. Fukd up my bill, then make it a tedious task to get it corrected.

Let the US carriers into Canada. The monopoly needs to stop.

Unethical practices
