Customers should not have to arrange and pay for returning defective and faulty items
I received a bowl with dye poorly applied (not transit-damaged), with small chips and that had a slight crack. I sent a polite email with images to Robinson Interiors requesting a refund. Their initial response was that, it was damaged in transit, that I am responsible for arranging my own return and for the cost, and that I would be refunded all costs ‘if they approved’. I was warned that, “If any further damages occur during transit, this is the responsibility of the customer and will be deducted accordingly from the refund”. That upset me so much especially as a returning customer! Of course, I refused to be responsible and requested that they organise and pay for the collection, which they did without question!

We did not ask that you pay for your return on a damaged item, we simply asked that you kept your shipping receipt so we could reimburse you correctly. We are very sorry that there have been crossed wires, as we wanted to get this resolved for you as quickly as possible. We were very quick to reply to your complaint and arrange a collection for you.
We are very disappointed this item has arrived to you in this condition. We have sold many of this line previously with no faults, this must have been missed during quality control. We can assure you, this is not the standard we set for Robinson Interiors.
This issue has been resolved and your refund will be processed within 7-10 days as stated on our return policy. We are very sorry again.

Beautiful products
Fabulous vase, ordered one day and delivered the next with standard service. Small problem with the vase, quickly sorted out by customer service with a discount. An excellent experience with this retailer and would definitely purchase from them again.
