Very expensive fees
Very expensive fees, avoid buying crypto on Robinhood
They are the OPPOSITE OF ROBINHOOD
They are the OPPOSITE OF ROBINHOOD! too many times they have screwed me,stolen my funds, cancelled winning options trades. I hope they do fed time. They deserve it
I sold crypto to buy another crypto and…
I sold crypto to buy another crypto and on the 2 withdrawal they locked my account after i verified everything i spoke with them on the phone they wasted my 30minutes to verify my bank statement and then said i need to wait another 1-2 business days… I wanted my money today now i have to wait for atleast 4 days… If i get my money out im never using them again
Don't use it
Don't use it, horrible commissions and laws. When I sent my money they didn't charge me anything, when I went to withdraw it they charged me. In addition, the commissions on my operations are very high and it is a quite confusing app. I don't recommend it. The only good thing was the support guy who helped me a lot in the chat.
WARNING
WARNING — Robinhood Wallet Has Critical Security Flaws. I Lost $35,000 in USDC Without Authorizing a Single Transfer.
I’m posting this to protect other investors.
If you use the Robinhood Wallet and USDC, your funds can disappear instantly — even if you never initiate a transfer.
My Loss: $34,749 in USDC vanished from my Robinhood Wallet.
Here’s what happened:
On January 19th, I received a call that *appeared* to come from Robinhood’s official number. The caller knew details about my account and claimed there was a security breach through an API connection from Romania. They instructed me to liquidate my investments and move the funds into the Robinhood Wallet “for protection.”
I followed the instructions because everything looked legitimate — including an email that arrived at the same time.
**Days later, my entire USDC balance was gone.**
Transferred out of my Robinhood Wallet to an external crypto address **without my authorization**.
When I contacted Robinhood, I was told:
- They do **not** call customers
- They do **not** have a security department
- They do **not** instruct anyone to liquidate assets
- They cannot explain how the transfer happened
- They need **45 days** just to produce basic records
Meanwhile, law enforcement traced my stolen USDC through multiple exchanges, where it was quickly converted into untraceable XMR.
Major Security Red Flags Every User Should Know
1. No multi-factor authentication for crypto transfers
Anyone who gains access — through a hack, exploit, or internal leak — can drain your wallet instantly.
2. No fraud checks, no warnings, no delays**
There is zero protection before funds leave your wallet.
3. No transparency or traceability**
Robinhood cannot explain how the transfer occurred inside their own wallet ecosystem.
4. No meaningful customer support**
For a $35,000 loss, I received slow responses, conflicting information, and no accountability.
5. The wallet can be drained even if YOU never initiate a transfer**
This is the most alarming part.
I deposited USDC using Robinhood Connect from Robinhood into Robinhood Wallet as USDC — and the funds were automatically routed to an external address I did not authorize.
This Is Not Just a Scam — It’s a Security Failure
I have filed complaints with:
- FBI IC3
- SEC
- FINRA
- FTC
- Local law enforcement (Case #2026011340)
Every agency acknowledged the seriousness of the case.
Robinhood has not provided answers or compensation.
If you store USDC or any crypto in the Robinhood Wallet, understand this:
Your funds can disappear without your action, and there are no safeguards to stop it.
Until Robinhood fixes these vulnerabilities, this wallet should not be available on the Apple or Google app stores.
I hope my experience prevents someone else from losing their savings the way I did.

NOT WHAT IT SEEMS
I'm gonna talk to text... If you're new to this it's gonna feel like a video game yet if you sell at a price it's gonna sell at a different price.... So Robin Hood doesn't charge you money because they make money on the difference between price so you can be amazin... on the difference between price you can be watching charts g you can be watching charts.. if you're like me you took some class.... you're pulling the trigger on things..If you're like me you took some classes you have your line set up you see things happening you're pulling the trigger on things.... You just lost ?$2000 TO $3000 DOLLARS... I don't know if there's something better but this program is definitely for the people that want to buy and hold when you buy something you didn't buy it at the price you thought. It's gross and expensive
Fighting to get my money out
Fighting to get my money out. Unbelievable. They should not be allowed to trade in the UK
Do not invest any money with Robinhood
Do not invest any money with Robinhood! I had their Credit card and brokerage account. When I requested to withdraw $4900 they locked down my account and told me they would be closing my accounts. They said withdrawing the $4900 was unusual activity.
I have been able fo access my ACTIVE…
I have been able fo access my ACTIVE credit card for 3 weeks.
Despite emailing every day, no one has called me or given me any indication of what they are doing to remedy and there us no number to call to speak with someone
Absolutely dreadful service- avoid !!!
Best Way to Lose Access to Your Own Money and Your Sanity
I received an email saying my tax documents were ready — exciting, right? Wrong. To access them, Robinhood demanded:
A phone number I no longer use
Verification via a bank account I closed
A selfie for biometric verification (nope, not happening)
No alternative verification offered. No human support I could reach. No way to actually download the documents I’m legally entitled to. And this is after I closed the account because their support and security practices are laughably bad.
So yes, I’ve now filed complaints with the Attorney General in my state and FINRA, and I’ll be documenting everything for the IRS. Because apparently, that’s the only way to get access to your own information.
Fun fact: the “support” team exists in theory only. In practice, you’re left screaming into a void while your own tax documents vanish behind a fortress of terrible UI and inflexible policies.
Verdict: Robinhood — not a broker, more like a tax-themed escape room that you lose every time. 1/5 stars, and that’s being generous.
EVERyTHING GOES WRONG WITH ROBINHOOD/TRUE TRUE
Everything goes wrong with ROBINHOOD. Started out I thought ok years ago. Then they want to steal your money even when you forget to stop paying for gold membership. Almost a year had past since I used them for their service and they still keep charging me $9.99 for a service I don’t use and have not even logged into the account because I got sick. To top that off they closed my debit card and have not added a new one so why would I want to use a service that I can’t already use with a bank account?? Dumb dumbs. COMMON SENSE!!
Don't use for crypto
Extremely complicated and glitchy when sending or trying to receive crypto, blows my mind that haven't figured that out yet. I'm very experienced when it comes to sending/receiving crypto, this has been the worst experience. Don't recommend for crypto!
Robin Hood has become absolutely…
Robin Hood has become absolutely criminal
THE absolute WORST trading platform…
THE absolute WORST trading platform available. They now have customer service bots that take you around in circles. IMPOSSIBLE to connect with a real human. In a margin call? Forget about getting help. I waited over 4 hours and it kept saying I was in an "active call". Yet NO ONE called me and there's no way to end the active call even though you're told to end the call for more help!? OUTRAGEOUS! DO NOT USE ROBINHOOD! I will NEVER go back to this garbage "trading" platform!!!
Linking more than 1 bank debit card should be allowed
I'm unhappy with the amount of time it takes to transfer money from bank account to Robinhood.
I inquired has to why I could only link one debit card for instant transfers. I was told most customers are able to link.2 debit cards. And the maximum is three debit cards. That would be one debit card for each different bank account.
After connecting the first debit card, it would not allow me to add more. I got a return phone call back and was told the rule changed on January 27 that only one linked bank card is allowed. I was told on January 27 at 12:29 AM that I could have up to three.
Awful convenient that the rule changed on January 27. I assured the assistant on the other end of the line that it did not change until after I was told I could add additional debit cards. And to seek additional help for troubleshooting if I ran into problems doing so.
I would rather my funds be transferred instantly into Robinhood.
Can’t withdraw when you want to and…
Can’t withdraw when you want to and overall a terrible application with the most useless support I’ve ever encountered!
If you enjoy talking Robin Hood sucks to a foreigner…
If you enjoy talking to a foreigner that you can’t understand, this is the place for . These people are extremely unhelpful in a crisis. Especially if your account gets hacked. I was surprised these people haven’t been indicted at minimum !!
Misleading referral program and inconsistent policy application
I am extremely disappointed with my experience regarding the Robinhood Crypto referral program in Europe. As an existing customer in Germany, I referred a friend who successfully signed up, verified their ID, and deposited the required amount.
The inconsistency is shocking: my friend received her €50 sign-up bonus (which was triggered by my referral link), but Robinhood refuses to grant me the €100 referral reward.
Their support team (agents Shaira, Charlotte, and Paola) gave me contradictory reasons, claiming the jurisdiction is ineligible, despite the fact that they already validated the transaction by paying out the bonus to my friend.
It is unacceptable to recognize a referral as valid for the "Referred Customer" but deny it for the "Referrer."
This is a clear breach of their own Terms and Conditions. I have already requested a supervisor review, but I have been ignored for over 48 hours.
I am now preparing to file a formal dispute with the Bank of Lithuania (Lietuvos bankas) to report this unfair practice.
Be very careful with their promotions, as they might not honor them even if you follow all the rules.
