Return Policy - Not What You Would Expect
Before purchasing a $155 complete CPAP mask kit, I reviewed the company's return policy, which states:
"We accept returns on unused, unopened items within 7 days of receiving your order for a refund, minus shipping costs."
The day after receiving my order, I submitted a return request. The shipping package was still completely unopened. The following day, I received an email stating that the product was classified as a hygienic medical item and therefore was not eligible for return under their policy.
I then went back to the website and discovered that this exception is only disclosed after scrolling to the bottom of the page. In my opinion, placing such a significant limitation where it can easily be overlooked is misleading.
What is especially concerning is that 99% of everything they sell appear to be hygienic medical items. As a result, the advertised return policy may give customers the impression that returns are allowed when, in practice, many products are excluded.
