Cedric was great, responded to an email after sending many others and trying to call all around Berlin. He responded in 30 minutes and got me in same day and was excellent. So thankful.

I love the small size, light weight, and packability of my mini but I find the headgear bulky, large and uncomfortable. Also, it’s inconvenient that it doesn’t use the same cushions as my regular ResM... See more

My MiniRes is terrific
My Minires is terrific. It does the job of my BIG Resmed tank cpap. It can use the same mask as the big one except if the MiniRes has a humidifier using HumidX connected to the tube. Therefore you will need a separate connector tube to go to the mask and the regular hose if you use the humidifier. So leave your BIG ResMed cpap at home along with the gallons of distilled water.
The MiniRes is small, light weight and easily carried on board aircraft. I have used my MiniRes all over the world. (Medical devices do NOT count as a carry on bag.) It is 120/240V compatible. You will need an outlet/plug converter to fit the various power outlets. It comes with a very long cord.
I use a VirtuClean to sanitize the MiniRes, tubing and mask. It's the same size as the MiniRes.
For traveling, especially by air or ship, this is the way to go. Don't leave home without it!
I love it
I love it. It is easy to take on the road and easy to set up in a hotel. Passes through security with no problems. It may be a little louder than the machine back home, but it does not bother me at all. I highly recommend it and this is from someone who was on the road every other week.
A good bit of kit with significant shortcomings.
A good bit of kit in its size and portability but with some significant shortcomings. To achieve the same flow as its big brother through a smaller tube it has to blow harder - simple physics says there must be a pressure increase. This increase in pressure is sensed at the mask, and in my opinion causes leaks that I don’t get with my bigger Resmed unit. It can be unpleasant. And the second and most annoying issue is that Resmed insist on proprietary connections for their mini so you cannot share masks and fittings between mini and even other Resmed Cpap gear. This is rubbish. And fir this reason (I find the Fysher and Paykel masks better fit after 10 years of constant use) I will be ditching Resmed when my machine stops and going to another brand.
Companion
I really like it ! It is my companion on all my trips .
I do recommend.
AirMini is great for travel
AirMini is great for travel, but poor for noise produced while in use. This unit is noisy and I wish there was a way to make the unit quieter. I really like that I don’t need to use deionized water especially when on the road.
If you travel with a CPAP you need this one
I have greatly enjoyed my mini. It weighs nothing compared to a standard CPAP and does all that they do except humidify. That is not a problem for me since I rarely use the humidifier on my home unit and I live in dry West Texas. It is as quiet as my home unit and quieter than the home unit I had when I bought the Mini. I would like a more compact travel case. I would suggest a padded bag just for the actual CPAP and a net bag for the hose , mask, and cord.
AirMini is a good companion to Airsense 10
The Resmed AirSense 10 is an excellent machine, quiet, and reliable; but it is bulky. I have used the Air Mini and it is an excellent option when traveling. Having traveled all over the world, I have found the Air Mini to be an easy alternative. It does make a little more noise, and the discs that help hydrate the air are ok, but do not work quite as well as a real water tank. An affordable battery would be nice, but overall, I highly recommend this for traveling, particularly when packing includes size and weight restrictions. At home I use the AIrsense 10, and the AirMini when I travel. You can use it on international flights, which is a real advantage.
I love traveling with the Air Mini
I love traveling with the Air Mini - I can fit it in my carry-on bag and don’t have an extra bag to lug around and worry about loosing.
I really want to love my AirMini
I really want to love my ResMed AirMini. It’s compact enough to fit in my carry on and is super easy to set up and use. The one thing that keeps me from loving it is that even with the HumidX Plus waterless humidifier, there’s not enough humidity in the air to keep my sinuses from drying out. Every time I use it, I wind up with sneezing fits the next day. If ResMed could offer a solution that provides more humidification I would give it more stars.
I used the ResMed mini whenever I…
I used the ResMed mini whenever I traveled, but because I couldn't use my favorite mask with it, it made a lot more noise than I was used to. I haven't really traveled in the last year and so haven't used it for quite a while. And if I'm not have to carry it through an airport I'm more likely to use my bigger machine with the mask I'm comfortable with.
Great small machine. Air Mini.
The AirMini is very easy to operate and carry. I enjoy a restful night sleep. I would recommend this product to every one who needs portability wild traveling.
My AirMini Experience
I only use my AirMini when I travel and I haven't travelled much in the last year, but having it ready to throw in my bag and the ease of use is comforting. Highly recommend it for anyone who travels and need that CPAP capability on the go.
AirMini is Good.....But....
I have been a CPAP user for almost 20 years. I have owned and used the AirMini on and off for about 5 years. The best feature of the AirMini is the portability. I have multiple CPAP units that I use regularly and the AirMini, for me, is used for short weekend getaways or short business trips. I love the size of this unit and it’s easy to pack, making it more accessible when needed. However, with the latest advancements in CPAP technology overall, the AirMini misses the mark with respect to noise levels. The newer standard size CPAPs are almost silent when in use and the AirMini is noticeably louder for me and my spouse when in use. Upon exhaling, the air is released at the joint where the face mask meets the hose. I have gotten somewhat used to this over time but because I only use this unit for short trips, it usually takes at least the first night to get over the extra air noise so I can sleep comfortably. I also use humidity with my CPAP. The AirMini Humidx discs are just “OK” and do not take the place of a regular humidifier. I also use a full face mask and Humidx discs are not compatible with full face masks. This becomes a problem for me on longer trips which usually forces me to take one of my larger machines with humidity tanks. My suggestions to ResMed are the following: 1. Develop a system that lowers the noise level. I believe this would be a matter of redesigning the tubing and mask system. 2. Come up with a better system for humidity. I suggest an inexpensive, external passover humidifier to start; that would work for me. I’m surprised this hasn’t been developed yet! 3. Make a full face mask attachement to handle Humidx humidity discs. Lastly, I enjoy using my AirMini but I can see where just a few more tweaks can make this product even better.
Many evenings
Many evenings, using the ResMed machine causes me to wake up with a runny nose and I go through a box of tissues before the symptoms abate.
This is perfect for travel!
I have been using my machine for a few years now. It travels with me everywhere I go overnight. I love it...even more than my big machine...because it doesn't require water and works so well. Would highly recommend!
The mini unit works great
The mini unit works great! Small, easy to carry case.
Works automatically via app on my phone. Just as effective as my res med home unit! Great product!
I use my AirMini exclusively for travel
I use my AirMini exclusively for travel. It is a godsend for that. I even bought the expensive battery for it, but found that I really didn't need it, so now that is being used as a power backup for my ResMed10. Anyway, the compactness and ease-of-use and ease-of-transport with the AirMini makes sleeping in other cities easy.
GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH RESMED
I've been using ResMed Mini for nearly two years. My life has changed a lot. I can say I feel fresh every day and I wake up wide awake after a complete night of sleep.
