Absolute scammers
Absolute scammers, I thought since they take the money instead of giving it back like a traditional deposit you get back I thought they’d actually provide a decent service when moving out and when my landlord scammed me by asking for charges of £150 for a 2cm scuff on the wall deposit has charged me a £60 fee to fight my case against them and been absolutely no help in dismissing the false charges or even shorten them to a fairer value, absolutely ridiculous.
Would never ever go with again - do not recommend under any circumstances

We understand how frustrating it can be to receive end-of-tenancy charges, particularly when you feel they are unfair. However, we'd like to clarify a few points about how Reposit works.
Reposit is an alternative to a traditional cash deposit, rather than a deposit itself. As such, landlords and agents remain responsible for assessing any end-of-tenancy charges and proposing claims based on the condition of the property, just as they would under a traditional deposit arrangement. Reposit does not determine, approve or set these charges.
We always recommend that tenants take the time to review how Reposit works before choosing it as their deposit alternative, including the terms and conditions that explain the dispute process and any associated fees. When a tenant wishes to formally challenge a charge, Reposit provides access to an independent adjudication service. The £60 dispute fee is clearly outlined within our terms and conditions and helps cover the cost of the independent review. Importantly, this fee is fully refundable if the adjudicator rules in the resident's favour.
As the adjudication process is independent, Reposit cannot influence the outcome or dismiss charges on behalf of either party. The purpose of the service is to ensure disputes are assessed fairly and impartially based on the evidence provided.

Good so far.
This is our first time using Reposit and it was a big help not to have to fork out for a massive deposit, using Reposit actually made our move feasible! I'm a little sceptical of how the move out will go (when that eventually happens) as I'm used to charges being deducted from a deposit but by using Reposit I assume we'll just be sent an invoice, so we'll see how that process goes in the future. However for anyone in a tight spot when moving this is a big help and weight off money wise. It was really simple and easy so no complaints so far.
