Reserved and paid for a car…but there was none at pick up!
Smells like a scam to me!
We reserved a car on rentingcarz.com, paid, arrived at the Dollar Rental office at the airport to pick up the vehicle…but they showed no reservation placed under our name. Because there was no reservation, we had to rent and pay for another vehicle on the spot.
We immediately submitted a claim for a refund via the email provided on your site, and received an auto-generated email stating that we would get our case resolved within 21 working days. Well, 21 working days have passed, and still no reply from your company, and no resolution….and no refund!
You folks have no obvious telephone number to call to speak to a live person…and the WhatsApp chat looks like it’s solely for making reservations. Finally got onto the website chat, but the customer service agent had no answers and no new deadline, claiming that the rental car company didn’t respond…is that not your company’s job to follow through on this?
Bottom line, we paid for something we didn’t get! Refund us immediately, please—your inability to resolve this should not be the customer’s problem.

The booking was successfully reprocessed, and approximately 10 minutes after the cancellation of the original reservation, the new voucher with all reservation details was sent to the same email address registered in the booking.

No refund received after proper cancelation
I had to cancel so I requested refund. They waited for the last minnute to ask me if I wanted refund or have a credit for next rental. When I answered a few hours later it was already less than 48 hrs to original rental time so they did not refund me any money. CHEATERS

Really bad experience.
I rented a car with the “surprise rental company” that does not tell you who you are renting from. When we arrived in Miami not only the place is shady with no air conditioning, but also understaffed. Made us wait for a very long time. While waiting a man came in the office yelling that his $2,500 deposit had not yet been refunded and that their phone numbers did not work and nobody answered. I didn’t want to risk that amount of money. People around me were not taking the cars and saying the place was a scam, charging ridiculous fees. I did not feel comfortable with that and left to go to sixt were the deposit was only $200.
NEVER rent from that company, NEVER rent when you are not told which company you will get your car from.
Rentigcarz did not help me get my money back. Rentingcarz should not have that rental car in their website.
