If I could give negative stars I would. I had an air bnb with renters.pl, and was charged for so-called damages. After fighting to receive the meta data from the damage photos they provided, it was confirmed these damages happened months before my stay. I am still fighting to report this company, and hope others with a similar experience will report as well.
Air BNB ended up refunding me, as I was in fact scammed.
Please report if this happened to you!

Misleading Listing & Poor Handling
I had a very disappointing experience with this rental company and strongly advise others to be cautious.
I booked an apartment at Dietla 21, Kraków based on the official listing, which explicitly stated that the apartment had windows overlooking greenery and views of the Old Town. This feature was a major factor in my decision to book. I would not have booked a windowless apartment.
Upon arrival, I followed the check-in instructions, which stated that the apartment was on the ground floor. However, the apartment was not where described. When I called customer service for help, even they seemed surprised and had to check the location. I was then told that the apartment was accessed by going through the main building, exiting it, descending stairs, and entering a basement-level courtyard.
Once inside, I discovered that the apartment had no windows at all. The only opening was a glass door leading into the courtyard. There was no view, no natural ventilation, and very limited natural light. This was the complete opposite of what was advertised and created a claustrophobic and unsafe environment for me as a woman traveling alone.
I contacted the company immediately, requested either an equivalent apartment with windows or a refund, and followed all of their instructions. They refused to offer an alternative. I left the apartment the same day, returned the keys, and did not stay there.
The company asked me to send photos and videos as evidence, which I did promptly. However, they later refused the refund while claiming they had reviewed the evidence — even though I had proof that they never opened or downloaded the files.
To make matters worse, after my complaint, the company changed the wording on their website. This does not change the fact that the original listing at the time of booking was misleading.
This experience involved:
• misleading advertising
• lack of transparency
• poor customer support
• refusal to resolve a legitimate issue in good faith
I strongly recommend booking only through platforms with strong buyer protection and avoiding direct bookings with this company.
Answering Noclegi Renters’ ongoing denial:
I stand by my review. At the time of booking in October, your listing explicitly stated that the apartment had windows with views over greenery and Kraków’s historic surroundings. In reality, the rented unit had no windows at all, only a glass door opening into a basement courtyard. This is a material discrepancy.
I notified you immediately upon arrival, left the apartment the same day, and requested either an equivalent alternative apartment or a refund. Both were refused.
Despite being presented with clear evidence, you continue to deny these facts. This ongoing denial, combined with the subsequent modification of the listing description after my complaint, raises serious concerns about transparency and good faith.
The apartment delivered was not as advertised. For this reason, my review remains accurate and justified.

The word service does not exist for them. Many things in the apartment was broken when we came. It took a long time and many in-valuable mails for them to send a technician.
And when we left the apartment they charged us for broken things, we didn’t brake.
Really poor communication and service all the way along. Besides in the beginning when the deal of the rent was made.

Unfortunately, this was my first holiday where the initial condition of the apartment caused me crying instead enjoying. The apartment we rented in Gdynia was not in an acceptable state of cleanliness upon arrival.
To be clear, I understand that Renters.pl acts as an intermediary between the property owner and the guest; however, this experience highlights the need for stricter quality control. The apartment was visibly dirty: the floors contained sand and debris, there were black long hairs and crushed crisps on the living room floor. The sofa, bed linen, and pillows were also covered in sand.
As the condition was unacceptable, we attempted to clean the floors ourselves. However, the provided cleaning equipment was also unusable — the broom was ineffective, and the mop was in very poor condition and smelled. As a result, we purchased new cleaning supplies from a nearby shop and cleaned the floors ourselves.
Regarding the bed linen, we submitted a complaint, and replacement linen was eventually provided at around 10 p.m. the same day.
We had booked the apartment for a full week and were staying with a toddler, which made the initial cleanliness issues particularly concerning and affected our overall comfort during the stay.
To be fair to Renters.pl, they apologized several times, and the customer service representative I spoke with was friendly, professional, and helpful. For this reason, I believe the company has potential, but stronger inspection and cleanliness standards are necessary to ensure an acceptable guest experience.

Answer to the renter's reply:
It's not true about the refund. You did promise to do so 4 days ago (25.12.2025), there is however neither money on my account, nor transaction confirmation sent to me. It's very curious the refund takes so long and you you cannot provide any prove of it, considering there was no delay in charging my card.
With me happened the same story that is been happening to other customers minimum one year long (I just didn't scroll the reviews further before October 2024): charging 10% above the listed price and blaming the difference on the exchange rate and bank fees.
If you are interested in a collective appeal against Noclegi Renters please contact me at alina.seniutaATgmail.com.
I booked the apartment Mieszczańska Modern Apartment with Balcony & Free Parking Wrocław by Noclegi Renters on Booking.com.
The address is:
Mieszczanska, 24
Śródmieście
50-201 Wrocław / Breslau
Poland
In the property description on booking.com it is stated that the price is deducted in PLN, however my account was charged in EUR.
Instead of the 2,002.24 PLN the actually deducted amount is 519.23 EUR. There is neither original amount in PLN, nor exchange rate stated on the transaction details, contrary to other foreign currency transactions with other merchants on my bank account.
The property ignores my messages stating this information, as well as my repeated requests for the invoice with the price break-down and the transaction documents from their side confirming the currency and the amount of the deducted charge.
This property has multiple pages on Trustpilot (for example, as renters.pl and noclegi.renters.pl), apparently creating a new one, once the old one gets flooded with same negative reviews. Even fake positive reviews don't help -- the pages are maked red with the warning from Trustpilot that Noclegi Renters violate guidelines and post fake reviews.
Since other customers state Noclegi Renters are charging random charges for non-excitant damages to the apartments after the check-out, I consider my card to be compromised and will need to replace it.

Review for Apartment Zabrska 15, Katowice
I have to say I didn’t have the best experience at this apartment. Before our arrival, I sent about ten emails to make sure there would be a baby cot available, since we were traveling with our child. We arrived in the evening, tired after a long trip — and of course, there was no baby cot. We had to wait another two hours for it to be brought, which was extremely inconvenient, especially when you have a baby who needs to sleep.
The apartment itself is very cheaply furnished. I wasn’t expecting luxury, but the furniture and fittings are really the lowest quality possible.
What bothered me the most, though, was the layout and design. There are mirrors everywhere, and you can’t properly darken the room. There are four big windows but only three curtains — which makes absolutely no sense. Because of the constant light coming in and all the reflections from the mirrors, it honestly felt like sleeping at a train station. Even at night, the room never really got dark, and it was very uncomfortable.
Overall, it was a disappointing stay, and I wouldn’t choose this apartment again
Upon arrival, we arrived to a filthy apartment that had not been cleaned. I found dead bugs, sticky floors, a filty kitchen, and not even a mop to clean with! They listed deceptive pictures that make the place look bigger than it actually is. The place is not suitable for me with my disability based on how small the place is for 3 people and a dog. They refused to move us to a different accommodation, even though they have some available during the same time frame I originally booked. Even though their terms and conditions state they will if the apartment is not as advertised. Which it is not! I'm filing a chargeback and moving me and my kids somewhere cleaner.
This is the 2nd company I have used to book accommodations with in Warsaw and I'm not impressed with the lack of customer service and accountability.
Would not recommend booking with this company.
EDIT TO ADD:
Things further escalated with this company. The issues with the apartment continued filthy bathroom, the toilet had not been cleaned and had fecal matter. I had to clean it so me and my kids could pee. There was fecal matter on the bathroom wall, the sink had facial hair all over it and it clogged the sink. The sink was unusable and would not drain. The shower was not cleaned.
I gave all this images to this comosny via email and was in communication with them that I would let them know once I received confirmation of a booking elsewhere and when we were leaving that night. They acknowledged this via email. What happened next was the worst experience I have ever had with a company.
A woman showed up 15 minutes later around 10pm in the hallway with a young child, stating she was with the company and loudly shouting in the hallway that I had not paid for my booking. This was a flat out lie I paid on 10/30 and had a receipt to prove it. As well as a charge on my card for it. She then proceeds to get another woman on the phone who states I needed to pay again, I stated I was already communicating with someone that we were leaving because of the filthy state of this apartment and I just got a booking for us. The woman then tried pushing her way into the apartment and I told her no because we had a dog and I would not be responsible for her child. She then said we had 5 minutes to leave. I stated no, we need at least 15 minutes and we will not be rushed.
This company exhibited harassing, threatening, and unethical behavior towards me and my kids. Embarrassed me and my kids in the hallway by lying and yelling we had not paid, all to cover them giving us an apartment that was in a filthy state, which I loudly stated including the fecal matter in the bathroom. Instead of this company moving us elsewhere, they resorted to harassing, aggressive, and illegal behavior. Run at all costs from this company. What a nightmare experience!
Also, they immediately relisted this apartment minutes after I left without correcting any of the issues. Absolutely disgusting!
EDIT TO ADD 11/8/2025:
Again with the lies. Not once did your company offer to send a cleaning crew and that is why I initiated a chargeback. In fact, I have an email where you state "Minor shortcomings were noted but unfortunatly The photos do not qualify the apartment for re-cleaning.". Again, I have proof of everything I am stating so stop with the lies. I have proof from emails, screenshots from the customer service chat, and my teens were there to witness your aggressive staff members behavior.

This is a nice, clean very new place. Close to old town by Tram. Not all was well thought out and prepared for guests to arrive. Shower plumbing was leaking spraying water all over. The garage did not have signage indicating directions to A,B, or C building and no Elevator sign. We dragged our luggage out of the garage and up the stairs through multiple gates not knowing there was a better way to do so. Such small thing but very upsetting. Not a bad place by not quite ready for’ Prime Time ‘

-Wring WiFi account and password was given,
Dirty iron
-TV remote control not properly functioningI believe.
-There is only one wardrobe in the apartment, located in the hallway. This wardrobe is not useful for us because:
i) it looks like a storage space for a vacuum cleaner in a box, deck chairs, and other beach items,
ii) it contains only two old, bent hangers,
iii) it contains a dirty mop.

Stay in same flat last year May and nothing changed after I told them about my problems.
Again bought a egg lifter, oven dish and cheese grater Last year there was a badly rusted grater and now just missing.
Pot without a lid and another lid without a pot. Pan are very bad and old.
Lots of wine glasses and only one normal drinking glass. What is the story with the fancy christmas set of plates, cups and dishes.
There is some cheap Pepco plates and cutlery as well Just take out the christmas stuff and put some decent stuff in there.

Stayed recently at their Warsaw, Ochota apartment. It is located close to Warsaw Central Station, well furnished and stocked with the essentials we needed for our short stay. The host provided clear instructions for checking in and checking out. I also got a link to a YouTube video facilitating easy check-in and directions to the waste disposal area, which was helpful.

We had a nice 8 days stay in the apartment at Mariacka 6 in Szczecin. The apartment has all we needed but it was a bit noisy from the street side. But it is centrally located and you have everything you need around you. WiFi is also good for working and streaming. The bed was very comfy.

Scammers. Quite often they will attempt to charge you for either broken or missing items once you’ve left. If it happens to you and you’re innocent, Airbnb will cancel the payment demands if you point them to all of the instances of them scamming people on Google reviews and Trustpilot.
Edit: Of course you don't, it must just be a coincidence that numerous other people have received the same treatment.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER ! CUSTOMER SUPPORT LINE DOESNT WORK PURPOSELY SO YOU CANT CALL AND COMPLAIN ABOUT ANYTHING. THEY OFFERED ME EXTENDED PROMOTIONAL STAY BUT INSTEAD CHARGED ME EXTRA ON TOP OF REGULAR STAY SO I ENDED EXTENDING AT A HIGHER COST PER NIGHT. THEY CHEAT HERE AND LIE . THEY DIDNT MENTION THE HEAVY CONSTRUCTION GOING ON BEHIND APARTMENT 213 AND DID OFFER TO MOVE ME OR ANYTHING.
DONT RENT HERE . ID RENT FOR ONE DAY FIRST AND SEE IF ITS A NO NOISE AREA. DISHONORABLE SERVICES. IF I HAD MORE TIME I WOULD SUE THIS PLACE. MAY THE LORD CURSE THIS PLACE , And may this place never see the end of construction and for the greed of these apartments , may Mennica go out of business permanently in Jesus name and all those who stand at the top to profit who ignored my complaints and suffering during my stay while I’m sick getting medical treat ment here , may you lose all your wealth and profits and it get transferred to my wealth, amen!
