I scheduled my appointment for today. No one showed up, I called, and they said it was for the next Sunday.
Wasted my time!

Unsatisfied customer person who measured…
We were told by the person who measured the windows that he was a professional carpenter. When the windows finally arrived. His measurements of the windows were completely wrong on all four windows. Windows had to be remeasured by someone else. Waiting almost one full year they finally arrived. The two installers were fantastic. Now there is heavy condensation on all 4 of the windows. Called the company in Bangor. I was told to sent pictures to a different number. When I sent a text to the proper person i was told would help with the issue, the response was not a phone call , but, a text! The person told me and then sent me a blurb from google about the reasons for condensation was normal and that it was recommended that i run a dehumidifier in the different rooms where the windows are located!! I have the curtains open in the rooms all day and the baseboard heaters are below the windows! There has always been constant condensation on at least 2 of them. Now we have mold that grows from all the windows not in the sunshine. I sent pictures of this to the “Proper “ person and no response…. Please,….at least a response of some sort is needed . We spent almost $18,000.00 on 4 windows and feeling very much unsatisfied with the results of of the professionalism to the complaint . Is this behavior consistent and common?? We are unsatisfied customers!!..
Worst customer service ever
Worst customer service ever, I have called many many times, I only got maybe two or three phone calls during all this time I paid half over several months ago, the first store that they wanted to put in was the wrong size, months later, no word again, one person had a death and family so I understand that, but there ought to be other people that can step up to the plate upon message upon message. I want my money back and I would like someone to call me.

Fibrex Windows
I recently had 4 Double Hung Fibrex windows installed.
I was very impressed with the installation. Both installers conducted themselves in a very professional manner and were protective of my floors, furniture and the exterior of my home. The removal of the old and installation of the new was flawless. The job took one day. The master installer went over every aspect of the windows. From the first day with the saIesman Robert, my follow up conversations with Concierge Jade and Customer Care Rep Brennen, I would definitely recommend Renewal by Anderson.
Bad experience with renewal by Andersen and my $10,000.00 sliding door $10,000
I had Renewal by Andersen install a new sliding door that enters unto my deck 7month ago. The first problem I experienced, when the door heated up during the day, The sliding door was very difficult to open or close. After [3] tries to fix the problem using A silicone based lubricant which lasted 1 day and the problem was back. After 3 tries and the problem was still there, I called Andersen and asked the salesman to come out and look at the door with me. I showed the salesman that the lower track that the door slides on was skewed to one side causing the door to bind up, he agreed. So he ordered a replacement frame be built and installed, I agreed. That was two month ago. Sine than the interlock mechanism has failed and the sliding door is impossible to lock especially at night when the temperatures drop. The replacement frame is scheduled to be installed 11/06/24. This will be attempt number [4] to try and fix this door. Communicating with these people is terrible, you seldom get the same person twice, and it seems that the left hand doesn`t know what the right hand is doing. I am so dissatisfied with the product and service and strongly advice anyone considering door or window replacement, DO NOT use renewal by Andersen, the product is substandard and the installation and follow up is terrible. Do not get caught up in their slick salesman talk, It just is not worth it.
Weeks after having my door installed…
Weeks after having my door installed and after 3 follow-up visits to get the damage caused by the installation repaired, I still have not received the minimal compensation they promised for the inconvenience.

I had an appointment for a representative to come and give me an estimate to replace my sliding glass door. After contacting me 3 times, the person asked if my mobile home had a foundation. When I told him that I didn't, he stated that he would not be able to come to give me an estimate because the company will not service my house. I have a sliding door now. I feel like the representative just didn't want to give me an estimate because I was too far from him to drive. If they do not service mobile homes, then they need to remove the selection from their website.
Excellent experience from start to finish!
I purchased a new front entry door from Renewal by Andersen. When the door was first installed it did not open as fully as the original door, but Andersen’s commitment to quality and customer support was impressive. The lead installer, Shawn, and assistant Paul were professional, courteous, and excellent listeners. On both service calls they were a pleasure to work with. They listened to my concerns with full attention. Shawn took time to explain what they intended to do and then executed that plan meticulously. They went out of their way to ensure that I was completely satisfied with everything. Admittedly I’m a perfectionist and Shawn and Paul exceeded my expectations. On a scale of 1 – 10 where 10 is outstanding, I’d want to give them an 11!
Warning
Warning: Do not do business with Renewal by Anderson. You will be very sorry. Everything you may have seen on their TV ads is untrue. We went to contract with them in May of 2024. Installation was scheduled for September of 2024. They installed half of what we ordered. My hurricane panels are still missing, and here we are on hurricanes number 2. Not a way to do business!!!!!!! And then had the nerve to contact the loan company that they recommend and who financed this project for $15,249.00 that it was completed. Thus, activating my loan agreement and getting paid in full. Their "signature service" is terrible. Many telephone calls and no resolve. So don't do business with them. And do not believe in the salesman who comes to your home, like Blake Silver who will tell you everything will be handled perfectly. And do not believe in a manger named Colt or service representative named Carmen, they have "no idea" what is going on. Renewal by Andersen represents itself as a sister company of Andersen Windows, but they are more a long-lost black sheep of the family. Check the reviews online of Renewal by Andersen, and will see that they are terrible, along with the finance company they recommend, GreenSky. Once they have your money, you will be left sucking wind. We were!!!!!!!!!
This company sucks
This company sucks. Money hungry. I wish I never bought a back door through them. I’ve had to have them out 2 times now to fix it. Waiting on them to come fix it a 3rd time and they’re telling me it will take over a month.
Complete garbage
Complete garbage. Don’t buy it, they’ll send some off brand contractor to royally screw up your home and not help you one bit. You’ll waste thousands only be left with their garbage in your home.
Not to mention, you’ll be contacting them month after month for the repairs. They’ll keep sending people but you’ll be stuck with their cleanup month after month.
I had mine installed in March and they still aren’t finished installing them. Not a dime back for reimbursement either.
I was given a qoute over 6mths ago
I was given a qoute over 6mths ago. I am a single, older woman with health issues and disabilities. The prices was too high for me to afford out right, so the salesman pressured me into financing with the old "let's just see of you are approved" line. The interests rates were insane. He did not give the same care to explain the financing as he did the product. The financing fell through and the salesman relentlessly called over the next 6mths to see if I had rectified my finances.
In August I had to stop working due to health issues. My son and friend stepped in to help with finances. When they saw the quote from Renewal they sought out other quotes from different companies for the same windows from Anderson. It was half of what they quoted me, with the discount. They chose to go with them.
The salesman from Renewal still called. I made the mistake of giving the courtesy of letting the salesman know, I would bot be using financing as I was no longer working and that someone else was hired for the job.
The salesman then informed me that Renewal had ordered my windows (with no financing or measurements) and that they belonged to me. I then explained that he informed me the contract was based off financing. He simply said " We have your social, they are coming after you".
Imagine this happening two days after a significant health diagnosis that requires you "minimize stress". I had to spend the day talking with my lawyer (a $400 charge) and filing a report with the FTC. My lawyer was able to uncover and review made on glass door by an anonymous employee that started Renewal uses manipulative tactics and preys on the elderly. STAy AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. You are better off signing a contract with Puff Daddy. Same result.
Please file a report with the FTC if you have had similar experiences. It only takes a minute. This company is willing to use their corporate money and lawyers to cause financial hardship over a lost commission. They need to be investigated
Horrible company
Horrible company. Terrible customer service. I think the company should be investigated for false advertising. They have been running a promotion advertising they will have an installer come out and give a quote that as good for a year. What a laugh. After 3 calls to the company I finally did get a installer to come to my house and he took measurements for my windows. I was told he would have a quote for me with in 4 days. What a waste of time. He told me he was the only certified installer in my area, and also in 2 or 3 other states. It seems to me they were advertising to get customers in only an area that had the most request for installation of windows. I called and complained to the company a few times and I was told someone would reach out to me, which never happened. It has been months and I never received a quote. Folks don't waste your time with this sham company.
Zero stars for RbA
Zero stars!
We have beautiful wood windows since 1996. The south-facing windows needed replacement. In March, 2024 we contacted RbA. The job was mostly completed by September, 2024. Composite was sold to us as being zero maintenance and lucky for us, we were told, one of their composite colours was a close match. It was dark outside--we were shown the colours on an iPad. We trusted that the salesman, Cody knew his product. We were given a price but it was only for this evening. These are very expensive windows, about $30,000 for five windows so this “discount” was significant. We felt like we were in a time-share sales-pitch and Cody laughed and said he had heard that before. This is where we made a very big, out-of-character mistake. We normally obtain at least three quotes. But this sales tactic of offering a price tonight (at 9 pm) that is not valid tomorrow worked on us. We signed a contract without other quotes. We should have declined immediately and shown Cody the door. Once you sign, you have no recourse. The windows are custom-made. Anything you did not consider and any trust you put in the salesman and the company are on you. Several days after the contract was signed, Dustin came to measure. He brought up many details that were not even discussed by Cody. If not for him, we would have even more problems. The windows were to be installed on July 9. When the installers got here, we were shocked to see the colour was a lighter brown with reddish tone—not even close to the dark chocolate brown windows we currently have. We were dismayed. The installers were reluctant to install them, due to the obvious colour mismatch. There is a colour on their brochure that is a very close match to our current original windows, Dark bronze. We assume this is the colour Cody had referred to in his sales-pitch, but wrote down the wrong colour, Coco Bean. We had not memorized the names of the colours. We trusted the company would make it right as it was clearly an error. We called RbA and the install was cancelled while they decided what to do. They referred to the signed contract and said they delivered what was signed. We spoke with the salesman, Cody who reluctantly admitted that this was “not the best colour choice”. That’s as close to an apology that we got from anyone in the company. After much discussion, “out of goodwill”, they offered to pay to have the five windows painted on the exterior. They referred to this “gesture-of-goodwill” repeatedly. The window installation was delayed until Sept. We are shocked by RbA customer service, they took no responsibility for the advice given to us by their salesman and referred to the signed contract over and over again. No one from RbA came to our home to meet with us or actually look at the windows. We were bullied on the phone by everyone we spoke with. They promised they were on our side but gave us nothing other than painted composite windows which will now require maintenance. They say they want “respectful” communication which is a hard pill to swallow when this company holds all the power and you as the customer have none. Needless to say, interactions with them became contentious. Being consistently talked down to in a patronizing manner created a very unpleasant experience. Being told too many times to count, that we signed the contract and we should be grateful for them paying to paint the windows, is crazy-making. We have had many dealings with many contractors and businesses over the years. We have never had any interactions like this. But with this company, our frustration got the better of us and some conversations became hostile and out of our nature. I used some strong language. I take responsibility for that. It would be nice if the company took responsibility for their part in creating this defensive, uncompromising, legalistic and bullying approach which created the problem in the first place. Our experience with RbA has been negative in all ways.If anything goes wrong or there is a mistake,it will be your problem. There will be no accountability on their part. We will never let anyone from this company walk through our doors again.
Their front door products are crap
We spent more than 11k on a new front door made by Provia and the quality was terrible… the door panel was warped, the sidelights were badly installed, the deadbolt doesn’t fit in the hole… we tried getting them to fix it but it’s been three months and we have heard NOTHING!
Great experience from start to finish!
Despite the sizeable investment we decided to make, Renewal by Andersen fulfilled our wildest dreams, both for the quality of their product and for their workmanship. We have already recommended RBA's excellent product to others in our area.
From the first visit to the final realization of our new windows, we couldn't be happier with our purchase.
Horrible installation
Horrible. The windows are nice quality. We paid 70K for a full house plus a sliding glass door. Where do I start? Incorrect screens were placed on front bedroom windows, the crew eft with one window screenless and open with AC running, Upon inspection ( we called salesman back immediately )the installation was incomplete) A puddy type material was attached to our siding. That was IT! They returned and spent another day making things correct. Andersen has now ghosted us. No compensation. NO communication. We paid upfront cash, too. Also, they have avoided sending a " review survey" or contacting us further. I would never recommend this company. Beware. They only send emails to send in reviews to clients who have had 5 star experiences. Ive yet to get a link to post my one star experience. Beware of what you see…. It’s all manipulated by Renewel..
