I have already returned the reliefband. There is no information about appropriate charging the first time from a computer, so when I really needed it, after charging from a normal power cord, it only... See more

Could have been great.
I purchased the Reliefband Sport in February 2023 from the US, as the UK did not offer this model at the time. I selected it for its basic design, durability, and stainless steel connection points, critical for my metal allergy.
I suffer from severe nausea and needed the device for a trip in March 2023 involving flights, boating, and rough roads. Initially, it worked well on the highest setting, though it caused some discomfort. Despite developing a rash from the non-stainless steel charging area, I tolerated it due to the relief from nausea. (This is particularly troubling as the company misleadingly marketed the product as having stainless steel components, yet the charging points, which are in direct contact with the skin, are not stainless steel.)
After minimal use, I stored the device and reached for it again in May 2024 for another trip. To my dismay, it malfunctioned with weak and intermittent pulses, and even expanded mid-flight, causing significant distress during turbulence. The device failed when I needed it most, despite careful handling and use over about 12 days (the length of my initial trip).
When I contacted customer service about the issue, their response was dismissive, citing the one-year warranty without addressing the product's failure or offering a solution. This raises serious concerns about the company's quality standards, durability of their products, and customer service. Had customer service attempted to rectify the situation, I might have dismissed this as a one-off faulty product.
Given the high price point of over $200, the device's failure is unacceptable. This experience suggests possible intentional design flaws to ensure failure within the warranty period. The lack of support and resolution from customer service is appalling, leaving me extremely disappointed and questioning the company's integrity and commitment to their customers.
I recommend you go elsewhere until they've fixed their many flaws. If anyone knows what recourse I might have to get my money back, I would love to know.
*** Updated ***
Since my review, I received a comment (visible below) which is not helpful, given that I’ve already explained that the device is faulty and does not work. I have tried everything mentioned, and there is nothing more I can do to make the device work. I am aware of how to use it, tried multiple charging methods (but forgot to mention in the initial review that the charger is also awful and makes it difficult to charge the device as the cable is maybe two inches long, so I always have to set things up around the device to rest on while charging or it will fall off the charging cord)…
Additional to the response here, I received an email from reliefband after I mentioned my review to them within the “support” email thread. I was asked for my order info, which I provided. I then received the following reply, which is ridiculous considering they already know it’s been just over a year (outside the warranty window) since I ordered my device. So what was the point of asking for this information? Just wasting my damn time??
This is a crap company. :
Thanks again for reaching back out and providing us with your original Order# of 1158057. I was able to gain access to the US system and unfortunately, your order has surpassed eligibility, as at Reliefband, all devices come with a 1 Year Manufactures Warranty for manufacturers defects. We went ahead and pulled up your order 1158057 and see your order was shipped on February 12, 2023. Because the order was shipped over 1 year ago, unfortunately you are no longer eligible and fall within the warranty period.

I sent an email and never got a response . I asked about the battery covering that keeps popping out.
I really like the relief band with the exception of the covering.

Caveat Emptor
Beware. The 50-hour product is *not* rechargeable. That fact is downplayed in the item description. Most electronic products will state "50-hour battery life" or the like, but in this case, you're paying $100 for a disposable item. It's also non refundable.
Good description
It was easy to read the descriptions of the multiple products and find the one that should help me.

I have chronic nausea and anxiety over…
I have chronic nausea and anxiety over everything. And I've been so tired having to rely on medications that have horrible side effects. I found Relief Band when I was pregnant with my 3rd baby and it was a game changer! Still had some pregnancy nausea, but with Relief Band it was much more manageable. I don't leave the house without it now. Whether to the grocery store, doctor appointments, to car/plane travel, and amusement parks. It has even been helpful during a stomach flu for myself and my kiddos!
The only thing I wish was different is if they would make the charging cable longer.
Items not in stock
The item that I wanted to purchase was not available even though your website and your facebook page said you had them. I had to go through a third party to buy it. I needed this item urgently for a family vacation and they couldn’t accommodate me for expedited shipping.
Disappointed in shipping
Disappointed in shipping first it said Wednesday’s then Tuesday’s and now Thursday.
Do not understand why
I simply asked for the metal band holder and was told NO! I really don’t understand why you wouldn’t sell them.
Ineffective and poor customer service
The bands were not effective for me, my wife, or any of my 3 children .
When I reached out to the company to get help, I never heard back after several attempts.
My daughter who has POTS…
My daughter who has POTS a form of Dysautonomia and resulting chronic headaches and nausea has used Reliefband since 2015 to help her get through many tough moments. We keep it nearby and charged. We highly recommend it.
Interesting concept, but it didn't work for me.
The product didn't work for me at all. I tried it several times, and I felt the tingling on my wrist, but as far as lessening or eliminating my nausea, it did nothing.
Social freedom
I have used the relief band for so many different social occasions and it has allowed me to do so many things !!!
I have suffered from motion sickness…
I have suffered from motion sickness for years I try this and it make a world of difference. Great product..
Doesn’t work
I bought it went it was on sale but didn’t get to use it for a short time later. It didn’t do anything for me and I still got extremely motion sick. Personally wouldn’t recommend
I was dubious but this product is amazing!
This product is amazing!! I have always suffered with really bad travel sickness, ever since I was a kid. As a Londoner, I have to plan my travel routes according to the least time on the tube and with the most changes to avoid feeling sick. On trains, cars, I would require travel sickness tablets which don't work sufficiently and boats have always been an absolute no go for me. In the last week and half since I have had my Reliefband, I have tested it to the max, sat in the back of the car down windy country roads - no sickness. On a 2.5 hour train journey - no sickness. Long tube rides - no sickness. Bus rides - no sickness! And I even went on a family trip on a boat and still no sickness. I honestly was dubious but I am so so so impressed! It has transformed the way I think about travel and has opened up so many possibilities.
*The only difficulty as has been noted elsewhere is the length of the charging wire. But if you are careful plugging in it then it is fine. And the pros do absolutely outweigh the cons.
