Reinforced Beds are a family run, online only retailer specialising in very strong beds and durable mattresses based in the UK. Our collection consists of heavy-duty frames constructed from the strongest materials. The range include wooden bed frames, metal bed frames, upholstered beds (including bedsteads, ottomans and divans) and bunk beds.
Our stock is suitable for both domestic and contract customers. We have supplied products to many different environments, such as large hotel chains, student accommodation refits and to the NHS direct to name a few.
Due to the build quality of our products, we have a wide selection suitable for people who are overweight and/or suffer from challenging behaviour. These products have been sourced and designed with the aim to be the solution for customers who require them most.
As well as an online retailer, we take great care in our products. As well as sourcing reliable and fantastic manufacturers to create our beds, we also manufacture select metal beds on site here in Norfolk! We also import some products directly to us, built to our own spec from overseas.

Melton double bed
Easy to order from, paid that extra bit for the bed to be built and the old one removed and the agency used were very professional and courteous. The bed frame has been awesome, very solid build and given our old mattress a new lease of life for the moment...

A very solid bunk bed at a fair price
A very solid bunk bed at a fair price, looks good & relatively easy to construct. Had to drill out a couple of the holes as they were badly finished & some damage to the wood/veneer here & there. On the whole though very pleased, looks like it will last a long time.

We made our bed
I ordered a Dereham bed which was delivered today. The product is very solid and well-made and I received excellent service from Reinforced Beds throughout the process. Friendly delivery crew from AIT who delivered 20 minutes into the window we were given. Recommended.

Bunk bed is very sturdy
Bunk bed is very sturdy. Currently housing 2 teenage boys. There’s no creaking when they are moving about at night. Setting up delivery and delivery correspondence is brilliant. Definitely recommend

I did not like the delivery men they were rude and unrespectful,raising his voice in front of my child just because I asked a question why he was leaving the bed in the corridor and he said he was not paid to do that I had to produce a receipt for proof then arrogantly moved the bed

Excellent bed but a couple of niggles
An excellent well made bed but despite getting the right number of packages there were no fittings or instructions. This was quickly resolved when we contacted the company. The instructions missed a couple of key details which made the construction a bit frustrating but the final bed was well worth it.

Proper customer service
Quick delivery the delivery company was very professional and even offered to bring the boxes inside even though I had only paid for kerbside delivery. Unfortunately there was an issue but it was completely resolved by 13:30 on the Monday and only took 4 or 5 emails total to explain, sort some details, and get confirmation of a resolution.

Bed bases are great however all the brick lines of mattresses are stupidly heavy (over 100kgs) making it difficult to place fitted sheets etc on them, the super soft one I got was anything but soft, padded layer leaves much to be desired

The Brick range is specifically designed as heavy duty mattresses, which is why the mattresses are considerably heavier than standard models. Their weights are listed on our website so customers can make an informed choice before purchasing.
We would also like to clarify that the mattress you purchased was our Extra Deep 2400 Pocket Sprung model, which is one of the firmest mattresses in our range. It is not described or marketed as a super soft mattress on our website. As comfort is very subjective, we appreciate that firmness can feel different from one person to another, but this model is intentionally designed to provide a high level of support and durability.

terrible customer service
Ordered a replacement bed for a tenant in rental house. I ordered the fitting/assembly too and disposal of old bed. was told in paperwork that delivery would be 24.6.26 and old bed frame needs to be dismantled before delivery. So it was dismantled and left outside ready for 11am to 2pm delivery, collection and assembly. Got a call after 1pm saying that they sent wrong team and they cant assemble today and need to rebook for couple of days away. delivery company blamed the shop and when I called shop they blamed the delivery co. Said any complain cant be verbal and must be by email. so here you go...treat this as a complaint and get back to me please.

We are sorry that your delivery and assembly experience did not go as planned.
Unfortunately, the issue occurred because the delivery company dispatched the incorrect crew to carry out the assembly service. As this was an operational error on the courier's part, it was outside of our direct control. As advised during our telephone conversation, we apologised for the inconvenience caused and arranged for the service to be rebooked for the next available date.
With regard to complaints, we do require these to be submitted in writing so that they can be properly logged, investigated, and reviewed by management. This ensures that a full record of the matter is maintained and allows us to provide a formal response.
