Terrible Customer Service 0/5

After dealing with a situation that has taken almost 2 weeks, I’ve called several times and even emailed the company. Unfortunately, I decided to purchase my bus ticket through the RegioJet website. After receiving an email confirmation to the correct email address from their payment partner, I patiently waited for a ticket that never came. This confusion not only caused me to miss my bus, but I ended up having to pay for a second ticket for my trip, after waiting at the bus station for several extra hours.

At no point was anybody sympathetic to my situation. Each time I called I was informed to “wait” and that my refund will be processed immediately. Finally, I emailed the company and got a very nice “The fact that the passenger enters the wrong e-mail and it is not delivered to the e-mail he wanted is not our fault. From our the ticket was sent to the e-mail address you entered.”

To reiterate, I clearly entered the CORRECT email, since I received a confirmation payment from PayU (their partner).

Honestly, don’t waste your time or your money on this terrible company. Pay the extra few dollars, because if anything goes wrong (literally anything), they will not help you out in any way, shape, or form.

Most unwelcoming drivers ever

This company hires the most unwelcoming drivers. They will not help pregnant women to lift a luggage to load it onto the bus, not even when she asks for help. They will not welcome you onboard, they will not announce bus stops, they will not thank you for using their service, they will not explain what services are available on the bus. On the opposite, usually they have a frowned expression as if you were bothering them just for being their passenger and sometimes they will rush you to get off the bus. This was not a one time experience, but the repeated over several occasions.

Not terrible but not very great either

I booked a train ride with RegioJet from Bratislava to Prague and back for me and another person in their Business class, the ticket was around 50€ per person per trip so I ended up paying aroud 200€ in total for the whole journey, whilst this is not a ton for a business class, their idea of what a business class should look like is quite different then what I expected, the coaches looked quite old and were not very clean at all, there was a heater right next to my seat that was very dusty and dirty and it basically looked like a very cheap attempt at a business class. This was my first and only trip with RegioJet, and initially I had a quite bad interaction with the train staff, the train arrived at the platform, I do not remember if it was a few minutes late or just around scheduled departure time but it was one of the two. Anyway as soon as all the passangers got off we started boarding and as soon as I went up the steps one of the staff members barked out at me saying that they have to clean the train first. Not a very good first impression, so I got off the train and had to wait until they let us in at which point the train was delayed. Oveall, I guess you get what you pay for with these companies, but if you are traveling within Slovakia and the Czech Republic, I would highly encourage you to use the national carriers which are ZSSK and ČD respectively, I've had a very positive experience with them genetally having ridden on various regional and inter-city trains in both second and first class, and would recommend them over RegioJet anyday.

Bad service, cheap train tickets

Regiojet offers cheap train tickets, but the quality if service is really poor. The staff are clearly overworked, and in a bad mood all the time. While the food on board is good, the method of ordering it via the staff makes it a bitter experience, because the attitude of the staff is simply bad.

Worst service and customer support in the region!
They don't give a damn if the station doesn't display the correct information for their clients to get the train. You have to pray to God to enter the correct train because there is no information available. Besides that, they have very rude and non-flexible customer support. I'm still waiting for my refund for the ticket that wasn't used!

Rescheduling a route so the train depart earlier

My mother arrived 50 minutes before the departure and was waiting on the platform. The information screens were displaying the same time as on her ticket. The train didn’t arrive neither at the departure time nor during the next hour. That was an absolute disaster. Nobody on the station knew what was going on. After some investigations I found out that several days before the departure the company sent an email where they rescheduled the timetable and changed the train departure time to go 1 hour ahead. There was no additional SMS and nobody on the station was aware of it. So my mother missed the train

It's terrible trip with RegioJet

It's terrible trip with RegioJet. My mother, wife and two daughters have gone from Prague to Lviv, and Train delay by 3 hours, and because of this they missed the transfer train. Their service also awful. I totally don't recommend this Train company

Horrid experience

Train from Krakow to Prague, so filthy seats one could not sit on them, smelly air (dirty airconditioner), no curtains everybody could see inside, filthy blanket sheets full of hairs, they woke us 50 min prior to our arrival asking us to submit the bed sheets.

IRRESPONSABLE DRIVERS

The driver removed my scooter from the truck at Victoria Green Line station. Unfortunately, I didn’t see him taking my scooter out of the trunk. After 40 minutes driving, one passenger told me that the driver took out my scooter when loading other luggage.

I went straight to the drivers, they didn’t want to answer my question as why did they left it behind and on the pavement. They didn’t even bother to left it in a safe place. They were rude and told me to go back to my seat. They also pretended that they do not speak English.

I have proof that the driver took my scooter.

If my scooter is not safe and found I will raise the complaint to court. My scooter was your driver responsibility.

Please fix this issue if not be sure that I will escalate it.

It works like a scam service

My opinion - it is scam. Support service doesn't know English well.
Had tickets to train Cracow - Prague. Departure time 23:36. They didn't send any notifications that departure is delayed. In schedule in train station was displayed delay 208 minutes (so it should be 1:27 according to schedule in train station). When I called to their support service at 00:16 they said that departure postponed on two hours (I asked, to be sure, that it will be at 1:30 and they said yes). I was with small child so gone into the building (cause was could). At 1:02 I came back on platform. At 1:23 record about their train was removed from schedule. So I called them again. And they said that train was in Cracow 15 minutes before. A lot of people missed their train because of their mess.
When I called to their support again and asked to return my money because of their fail (not mine) they said that they didn't told me that departure is postponed on 2 hours. When I said that I have previous call recorder, their "consultant" just hung up the phone.
Even more - money for tickets from Prague to Cracow also impossible to return.
I have such incident first time for 15 years of travelling. Never had such situation with any other service. So my conclusion - do not buy their tickets - too big risks to lose money, time and health.

Avoid these rip off merchants at all…

Avoid these rip off merchants at all costs they cancel the train without prior warning and leave you stranded at midnight with no other options to travel
Then have the nerve not to refund your money but give you credit to book with them again haha I'd rather walk than rebook with these jokers

London-Prague coach

On a London-Prague service we arrived 2 hours late, due to a protest in central London and roadworks in Belgium and southern Germany. The drivers weren't overly talkative, but the coach was comfortable, coffee provided and on-board entertainment (most in Czech), but that was enough to place it above Flixbus and BlaBlaCar in my experience.

We took the train from Prague to Brno

We took the train from Prague to Brno. We had booked business class to treat ourselves. The experience started off well, the seats were comfy and we received a choice of free drinks. However it went rapidly down hill. We wanted to order some lunch, my husband had to go to find the server, she told us she would come in a few minutes. However she didn't. My husband went to find her again about half an hour later this time she was a little short and said she would come after the next station!! However she didn't. With an hour left of a three hour trip I went to find her and asked again. She then came to take our order . At this point we had waited two hours to order and we're worried that the food wouldn't come before we got off the train. I asked to check that it would come and was told she couldn't be sure. Eventually the food came with half an hour to eat it in. The food was actually quite nice but the whole experience of getting it had totally spoilt the trip. We were only offered one opportunity to select drinks during the whe trip.

I complained about an extremely rude ticket collector and asked for a personal apology. He should also apologise the company as they do have some very good employees. Respone from customer services was non constructive, typically low end corporate and lacked any consumer understanding and empathy

Nightmare trip from London to Prague

I took the regiojet bus from London to Prague. The bus driver could speak very limited English. We were not offered any water when we boarded. We drove to the England border check to do a passport control. We left then proceeded to the France passport control, then we got in line to the euro channel. 30 minutes into our waiting a bus came and told us to follow him. We drove back to the UK border and there 2 passengers boarded the bus... the bus driver had drove off and left them, he did not do a head count before leaving that area. So then we all had to re do all border checks again, then take all our luggage off the bus in the France passport control, all because the bus driver left those 2 passengers. This making our bus 2 hours behind schedule.

Never once did the bus driver explain to the passengers what was going on. We had to figure out everything by oursekves. No communication at all, very poor communication skills. We missed our bus connection in Prague and had to take a train to Vienna instead.

The bathroom door was very hard to open so we thought it was locked. All in all in was a nightmare of a bus ride. I will never use this bus again. Very unprofessional and they did not even help us on the bus to try and contact the office to get help trying to figure out what to do about our delay. I had to send a email to the company from my phone. They did provide me with a train ticket in the end but that was also a nightmare trying to catch the train in a station with no English written where to go at the Prague station. 35 hours later I finally made it home
