support kept asking for my passport to reset my password

the funny thing is i paid using crypto for privacy reasons but the support kept asking me to upload my passport to a chat widget ...

i just gave up on that domain never buying again

won't recommend if you are into privacy or want to buy using crypto they will find some way to get your phone number and passport

Honestly, the best customer support I've ever had. I once request a work-around for a system limitation. They responded by adding my request to their backlog - The request was resolved within a week, allowing me to get exactly what I needed out of their system.

The registrar is not bad.
But my domain expired, I needed to renew it urgently, because tomorrow I'm leaving for a few days.
I can only pay with cryptocurrency, but the registrar has closed this opportunity and it can only be done through support
I wrote to support at night, but for obvious reasons I didn't get a response, I had to get out of it.
For the lack of self-replenishment \ payment with cryptocurrency -2 points.
I will be happy to change the rating if the problem is solved.

Also, since the middle of 2022, you have been writing that automatic payments with cryptocurrency are "temporarily" unavailable.

Once I chose this registrar only because I could pay with bitcoin.
But now, when it's time to renew the domain, they require payment by card, or some documents.
Why all of a sudden?
In general, this is outright disrespect for the client and deterioration of the quality of services. I am not ready to put more than 1 point for this.

Im aware I can be a bit of an intense client (I’ve been told) and have been hammering on regery chat support window all weekend, props to the poor buggers who’ve been dealing with me while I get a rush job done on a new hosting panel… I’m impressed with the prices, the server so far is ideal and where I’m learning new ways of doing things, the pop up help wizards seem to be doing the job they were intended for.. where they don’t, a real person steps in and I’m away again.. to marks so far!

1. I have renewed the expired domain (in the grace period status). A few hours later, the domain did not work. NS addresses do not change.
I wrote to support. It's been 2 days, but no one answers me.
There is no chat on the site. There is no ticket system. Communication is only by mail.
I lost the position of the site in search engines, and all because of the terrible attitude of the client from regery.

2. They have disabled the ability to pay with cryptocurrency.
Of course you can pay, but you need to pay with a card first. What idiocy. I pay with cryptocurrency just because I am not able to pay with a card.
In general, this is stupid.

A bad registrar, a very bad attitude towards customers.
I do not recommend it!

probably not very beginner friendly, especially their domain search. you have to know what you want to buy, if you already have an idea of that, wou wont be dissapointed

I just bought my first domain name with them to a very affordable price ! I also had some issues configuring my DNS records and I asked for help in their chatbox and got a response almost instantly.

This is a cheater company. It offers crypto payment but in fact not for all customers. The crypto is available if document is provided.
Stay away from Regery.com!
