Great facilitators and content. A must for anyone currently or looking to working as a recoveree coach or peer based support

This is the gold standard of recovery coach training. While there is no requirement to have any training to become a coach, I think it is so important when you are helping people to have that support and guidance yourself so that you can do your best in a boundaried way. The team are so passionate, and so inspiring. It is a brilliantly useful and exceptionally taught. Highly recommend.

I enjoyed learning with CCAR. Easy to understand

Having just completed CCAR’s Recovery Coach Academy to work with those with Alcohol and substance use issues, I couldn’t rate the
facilitators (Naetha and Calliese) any higher in their efforts to best serve the Recovery movement.
The entire course was relatable, practical and informative.
The attendees were amazing, diverse and global creating a ready resource of brilliance, knowledge and experience.

Just done the spirituality part of the recovery coach coaching was brilliant love the discussion and the facilitators are great support also would recommend

After doing the 'Spirituality for Recovery Coaches' course, I learnt how spirituality can help someone in recoveree through using various aspects of self-care, mindfulness techniques and how to approach challenging scenarios if they are ever brought to the surface.

This course has taught me about the similarities between art and science, the formulations and tools used to approach a recoveree who might have different views, values and beliefs than you as a recovery coach and what to do when biases arise.

I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is non-religious/non-spiritual and those who are religious/spiritual. As this course is for everyone whom are interested in taking the CCAR courses.

I have just completed the 2 day professionalism course Amazing course enjoyed every moment of it. The facilitators managed the group process well and I loved them sharing idea's and solutions to any questions i may have had with ease. I would recommend this course to anyone who wishes to become a recovery coach.

I have just done the half day Crafting Your Recovery Message workshop online with RCA. It was inspiring, motivating and incredibly helpful in supporting me to speak and write effectively and with clarity about my own journey in recovery. It not only helps you craft your message, but also to think about who you want to share it with, the needs of different audiences and which you may want, and not want, to reach out to or accept invitations from. The best thing of all was the connection with wonderful people from all backgrounds who were willing to share their stories so that we could all be more effective advocates for recovery.

I recently completed the Recovery Coach Academy course, and I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. From the initial inquiries before signing up to completing the course, Naetha and Calliese were incredibly helpful and responsive. They addressed all my questions and concerns, which put me at ease.

The course was delivered via Zoom, where engagement was actively encouraged. Through a mix of group discussions, breakout rooms, and actual coaching practice, I found the sessions highly interactive and engaging. It was good to see such a diverse group of participants, including individuals in recovery and allies, which added depth and perspective to the learning experience.

Naeetha and Caliese deliver the training in a warm, respectful, inclusive way. I felt like a resource, not just a trainee.

Fantastic course, this is an area I have struggle getting onboard with during my recovery but I’m so glad I did this course. It’s opened my eyes to so many different spiritual pathways and how to help others discover them.
