Totally disorganised useless…

Totally disorganised useless organisation. My mum passed away in March, I phoned within a few days, forwarded the death certificate. A month on I got another email, sorry to hear about my mum passing away, forward the information again. Since then three times they have had the information, and my claim is approved. I mean mum died she had a £2,400 insurance, what the hell else do they need. A few weeks ago they said your claim Is approved again, but as you did not forward a bank account ( I did ) we will have to pay by cheque, Ok I say just send a cheque. Then this last few days they are asking for information Again! In order to proceed with the claim.. how many times will I go through this. The amount am claiming is poxy. LV paid mums insurance in one week. I am insured by these clowns for £50,000, I took this out to cover funeral etc as it stated. I will be dead gone and reincarnated by the time my family get my insurance. 12 years I have paid into an insurance I know my family will have to fight for 3 months after I pass. God knows why I chose these. Do yourself a favour choose LV or someone that actually knows what they are doing. Avoid!!!

We’re very sorry to hear about the loss of your mum, and we completely understand how frustrating and upsetting this situation must feel, especially at such a difficult time.

To clarify, we are a life insurance broker rather than the insurer itself. This means the policy and claim are administered directly by the insurer, and they are responsible for processing and paying claims. From what you’ve described, it does appear that you’ll need to continue dealing with the insurer directly to progress this further.
