I thought I was purchasing a small laptop table. After payment I was directed to a screen which informed me of notification of membership and laying out monthly payments. I have tried and tried to get this corrected and asked for a refund of my €9.99 to NO effect. I did not and do not wish to take out a membership of any sort. ALL I wanted to do was to carry out a straight forward transaction. It looks like I will just have to count my losses but I will never get duped like this again!!!!

This is a shameful site. They used the image of @stib to subscribe you behind à chalenge. Thèse people are unloyal. I try to receive my money back and they send me a marketing message. These people should go to jail

It's a very usable platform specially for people who like to read.

I saw the item on a website miniprice.com. it was an advert on Instagram. I read everything in the legal notice and no means to contact them. You just leave your details and hope for the best. Also, no mention of subscription. I couldn't find anything about the company online so I used my credit card to make the purchase. In the UK, credit cards come with extra protection. However, I noticed that when I was about to check out the website redirected to readmonthly.com. Below there is a tiny print talking about accepting subscription. It was already ticked so I undid that and I screenshot it as evidence prior to making payment. After paying it says readmonthly.com would show on my account statement. I googled readmonthly.com and its a book site. The issue is that I did not voluntarily register so how do I cancel the subscription? I immediately cancelled the card and requested a new card. Im at peace because this way there cant be a recurring payment. Just the one off. I have looked at my creditcard statement and I have been charged for what I paid for. Hopefully it would be delivered in tact or I would be requesting my money back. I read the reviews so I chose to write mine. Hopefully, it would serve as a guide.

This company had taken £160! Over a few months I had no idea I signed up to a subscription! When I contacted them they said I had credit that I could use to purchase goods. But every time I have tried to shop, Everything is always out of stock! After a number of complaints the company has been in contact and have offered a full refund! Let’s wait and see if I do get my money back, finger crossed as I will do another review
