Garbage products and customer service

Should have read the about page with the ridiculous company manifesto before buying, basically saying their products are expensive, can be faulty, and if you do not like it, so what, we do not care about you, we are artisans that live on a island in fantasy land with our superior virtue. Hole in pants in less than month just sitting in a chair. They refused a full refund calling this normal wear. Underwear across fabrics is inconsistent and shrinks after first wash (to recommended specifications) to the point it is not wearable. After multiple emails customer service finally responded saying no refund for hole and if washed once can not return and should expect 5% shrinkage even if washed correctly yet nowhere does it say to expect this on site. Almost everything bought, $400, within a month has holes or is unwearable brand new and they do not care. Worst customer service experienced and poor products have ever bought in years. Oh, and I wrote two one star reviews and after weeks they have yet to post them, hiding poor products and service deceptively from future customers. Avoid

Great products. Above average customer service. Poor company values.

I have purchased many products from Rawganique over the past couple of years as I am ridding all harmful chemicals from my life. The products themselves are, for the most part, very nice. The gym/athletic/lounge shorts are all far too big (and I am a large human - 6’5”, 300lbs). The flip flops I ordered snapped within a few days of light usage. However, the remaining products I have purchased (socks, underwear, shoes, pants, shirts, gloves, kitchen mits) have all been very well-made.

I solely give the company 3 stars, despite their very high-quality products, as their valuation of the customer is quite subpar. Besides responding to emails, their customer service is very insufficient. When I reported the issue with the shorts sizing and snapped flip-flips, they promptly responded and offered a resolution. However, from their emails, it was clear to me that they only cared about themselves and not about my concerns.

Their response to my request was as follows:
“Hello,
We have received back your return of these two orders contain the Kitsilano and Bahama's sandals.
You had previously alerted us to an issue where the Bahama's sandals had broken due to ‘light use’ but upon examination of the products at arrival, they appear to have been heavily used and contain many stains and markings along the natural rubber sole as well as signs of heavy use on the hemp canvas foot bed.
We are also unable to accept the return of the Kitsilano shorts as they have arrived in a condition that is not within acceptable standards per our return policy.
The drawstring has been almost entirely removed and the shorts contain signs of wear including dirt and minor stains as well as dirt transference from the sandals that they were enclosed with.

As we provide pure and organic clothing to our chemically sensitive customers, we cannot accept these back into our inventory.

We can have these returned with a future order that you make or we can send you an invoice for the shipping cost to return these back to you.

Please get back to us as soon as possible and we can proceed from there.

Thank you for your understanding!”

As one can ascertain from this response, defending themselves, and their own financial well-being, is their sole concern. I understand their motives, however, a company should always put the customer first - no matter the circumstance. They should have refunded my money for the defective products. I will continue to purchase items from Rawganique in the future, as they are the only company that seems to produce several items that I require, however, the purchases will be conducted begrudgingly.

Wrap Yourself in Pure Comfort with Rawganique USA's Chemical-Free Hemp Towels

I recently purchased a set of 100% organic hemp towels from Rawganique USA, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with their quality and performance. The set included eight large bath towels and sixteen smaller hand towels, which have become my new go-to for everyday use.

What I appreciate most about these towels is their heritage quality ribbed knit design, which gives them a classic look while still remaining highly absorbent and fast-drying. They are perfect for use at home in the bath, kitchen, or sauna, or even on a trip or at the gym.

It's reassuring to know that these towels are completely chemical-free, hypoallergenic, and free from forever chemicals like PFAS. Rawganique USA takes pride in producing sustainable, biodegradable products that are also sweatshop-free and vegan. Additionally, these towels are free from dioxin, bleach, dyes, formaldehyde, pesticides, GMOs, and heavy metals.

Overall, I highly recommend Rawganique USA's 100% organic hemp towels for their pure and sustainable qualities. They are versatile, durable, and perfect for use in any setting. Thank you, Rawganique USA, for producing such an excellent product!

I hope this revised review meets your expectations. Let me know if you have any further comments or concerns.

Scam website, awful CS, poor qualit

Scam website. They have a “promotion” that expired nearly a year ago:
“Offer valid until Dec 31, 2021, while supplies last.”
Makes it sound like they left it up because they still have supplies, right? Nope, just “sorry you can’t read” is what you’ll get instead.

Also, the cloth they use is great but every item has terrible stitching. My 12 year old with a Singer had to fix both items because they were falling apart.

Scam company, terrible customer service, incompetent sewing.

Rawganique Has Horrible Products and Worse Support

I wasted a lot of money on Rawganique's garbage products.

All their clothing is single sewed, not double sewed like all standard clothes are now. Meaning their clothing falls apart quickly.

All their clothing is cheaply made in Romania, and it's total garbage.

I purchased a clothes soap from them. Used it once and it stained a Rawganique pair of pants that was supposed to be natural/undyed. I contacted Rawganique and the owner responded and said she hadn't heard of that happening before and would get back to me. Never heard from her again. The pants were stained after the first time I wore them because of Rawganiques terrible soap.

I posted a review of their soap that stains clothing on rawganique.com and it was never posted. They only seem to post positive reviews on their website.

One piece of their clothing will fit me in a size medium. Another piece of their clothing will be way too large on me when it's a size small. They can't even get uniform sizing correct.

The sizing of the clothing, length of sleeves (sometimes 4-6" too long, while other clothing has normal sized sleeves), everything they do is not uniform and poorly done.

You can buy better made clothes at Walmart. Yes, they'll be full of chemicals and made in a sweatshop in China, but unlike Rawganique, they'll last more than a few wearings.

Terrible business with worthless support. As you can see they don't even care about responding to all their negative reviews here.

Try harvest and mill for better organic clothing made in the U.S. or Hiroshi Kato.

Horrible Experience, Do Not Shop There

I wish I had read all the bad reviews before I spent near $100 on a pair of hemp pants which are so huge that they can cover my entire torso. I contacted the company. They claimed I received the correct size because the measurements of these pants fit the standard measurements on their website. They said they are longer for shrinkage. It seemed like they want me to try washing and shrinking them. Why would I? No one will accept used good for return. Will these pants shrink to half the size to fit is another question. Additionally, I asked them to cover the return shipping cost but they refused to. This is such a horrible experience. I will never shop there.

So this is an honest review

So this is an honest review. Their products are awesome. Expensive but awesome! Pajamas are super soft. The hemp shower curtain is perfect. They are both well made of all natural materials. Here’s the kicker. Before I ordered I asked if they would ship in plastic free packaging and they promised they would. They even emailed me after I ordered to tell me it would be plastic free packaging. Then my ordered arrived in a plastic envelope.

If you are making such a effort to create natural products isn’t it hypocritical to send them in a plastic package??!

Sadly as much as I like their products and I am willing to spend the money on them I will never order from them again because they shipped in plastic and they were dishonest about it.

I have never done business with a company with such bad customer service, dishonesty and lack of respect for their customer. I ordered some hemp rope... $200.00 worth and it never arrived. I received an email stating my package had been delivered and when I checked, the package was nowhere to be found. Most times something like this happens the shipper (in this case, Rawganique) will replace the shipment and take up any discrepancies with the shipping company, in this case FedEx. When I contacted FedEx, they said I had to have the shipper file a case. I did what FedEx advised and I got no response from Rawganique. I sent another email and they responded by saying FedEx says they delivered the package. I responded to that email letting them know the package was not delivered. Rawganique stated they would file a claim but these things never work out to in the customer's favor. Yes! They said that. I told them that I did not do business with FedEx, they did and I'd expect them to resend the package... They stopped responding.

Awful! Won’t pay to fix there f*** up

Horrible! I bought over $500 worth of clothing/ slippers here and they send slip ins for the slippers completely different sizes and majorly inconvenienced my sister birthday present, sent pictures to show the error they somehow missed in sizes and finally when they reply they ask me to pay and cover my own shipping to return mismatched slippers pads for there own screw up! Jeez why do they want them back? To resell them to some other unsuspecting customers? Anyone else would’ve sending replaces immediately and apologizing for the inconvenience. This site is whack and the people running it are clearly running out of money where there asking for there customers to cover there own f*** up! Don’t buy here! Won’t ever shop here again, was going to buy more but not anymore!

belt loops too narrow

if you want to wear a dress belt with your jeans, these are for you. But if you want to wear jeans belts with your jeans, the rawganique belt loops are WAY too narrow. Also, they arreive too large and with a cheap appearing thread count (but drying them on high heat mostly fixed those issues).

Company censors and omits bad reviews

Long story short, I ordered face masks where they buried in a huge amount of text on the product page that the mask type cannot be worn behind the ears and must be tied behind the head instead. I went back and forth with them and they refused to resolve this. After seeing the sort of people they are, I just wanted to leave a review to protect future customers from going through the same thing. My review was never posted. I reached out to them one last time about the missing review, and they claimed reviews are automatically posted. My review contained zero offensive language. I specifically worded it in such a way so that they couldn't possibly justify censoring it, and yet they have censored it anyways. I started looking across all their products and the absence of critical reviews made it clear that they implement a disingenuous product review system. This is a company that operates dishonorably, no matter what they reply to this if anything, just go see for yourself the absence of genuine critical reviews and avoid shopping here.

I give them 5 stars and here's why

I give them 5 stars despite having 1 poor experience and here is why.

VERY few companies are offering REAL organic options and when they do they charge EXPORBITANT prices. Rawganique is VERY up front with their business model, they work to provide quality goods and make an okay profit. It's the American way and it's amazing at providing good quality goods.

I have ordered a LOT of stuff from them including 10 organic cotton masks back in Janurary (which are AMAZING at blocking dust NOT a virus. To be fair top viralogists confirmed over and over that NONE these masks will stop a virus including the plastic China death masks, they've always been called DUST masks for a reason). I also ordered an oriental style pajama set, several sock and boxer styles all in LUSCIOUS organic cotton that caresses my sensitive skin. I have some organic hemp shorts and underwear that I do not recommend but they are exactly what I ordered no deception involved as I've seen others accuse them of.

Other companies offer easy replacements because they sell their product at 300% profit in order to pay for returns, they don't hand make them, a machie makes them. Human error is part of life. It is good.

So now on to my negative experience.

I ordered hand made hemp shoes. I gave them my exact specs in a note attatched to the purchase. They came slightly too large. That I am upset with. I emailed them to try and exchange them for a smaller size but by then I had accidentally splattered bleach on them in one of my manic cleaning episodes.
They refused on the basis that they sell to people who are extremely chemically sensitive, a bit of a poor excuse in that regard considering the bleach would have been far removed, however considering the sircumstances and the splatter pattern on the black hemp shoes. I have to respect them for their decision.

I kept the shoes because the oversize isn't visibly noticable and I still wear and love them, they turn heads, people notice them, the hand made natural materials (all the down to the copper shoe string ends that will never fray, crack or disintegrate like plastic) are evident and people notice.

I will purchase some soles from the company as soon as they become available again in order to make up for the slight undersize and will likely have these shoes for decades to come. Who knows I may even pass them down to my children someday :)

Too vague

If you've not been pleased, it could be the expectations from descriptions used in marketing. It's an ongoing battle to discern truth in advertising.

If you want linen made entirely in Europe, it must carry the Masters of Linen label. The company must be certified by this group.
Masters of Linen® is a registered mark. It is a sign of excellence for linen that is entirely made in Europe, from field to flax fiber, from yarn to linen fabric. The label is governed by the European Confederation of Linen and Hemp, uniting flax farmers, linen artisans and weavers.

Fact, is most linen grown in Europe gets shipped to India/China and then sent back to Europe (or not) for the sewing.

And read the differences between European Flax linen and European Linen. One is not as pure as you would think. Belgian linen is another hijacked term and you must be careful. The real stuff will be certified.

And French linen (metis)is a trademarked term that has nothing to do with being grown in or made in France. It is the mix of 50/50 cotton/linen that has been around since the early 1900's.

I've found exact 'look-a-like' examples of the hemp pants on Etsy and they are being sold by a UK shop who says straight up, they are coming from India. (Just saying). I don't KNOW that to be true here and I'm not accusing.

I asked once if the French linen on site was actually a grown in France fabric or the trademarked linen I've just described. She answered by telling me it didn't matter as they weren't growing their linen in France anymore. Vague indeed.

I ordered the 100% French linen underwear only to find a cotton crotch. (I avoid cotton which is why I looked for 100% linen). Couldn't return as it is personal item even if you didn't touch.

Vague indeed.

Beware vague answers. It is condescending and assumptive regarding our intelligence.

Buyer Beware!

I was interested in the fleece eye mask and wanted to know what kind of dyes they use in the black mask. I got a very vague answer. So, when I replied asking for more clarification, I got an auto email saying that their company gets way too many emails and that I should be able to answer my question in the FAQ in that email. Of course, it did not answer my question. So I had to go back to their site and ask a question in their email response form. I got another vague response back. And when I tried to get clarification, again I got another auto reply email.

After reading the several one star and two star reviews on this site, I'll be looking elsewhere. It does seem to me that the company responds but it's always with excuses and never any true honest forthright answers.

chemical free or free of harmful chemicals?

There are only 3 things that are NOT chemical in nature on our planet. Those are: sunlight, gravity, and the by-products of nuclear decay! Ordinary water (h20) is a chemical! All plants consist of chemicals. You should change your claim of ‘chemical free’ to ‘free of harmful chemicals’!
