The site is easy to use.

The site is easy to use with plenty of choice. I renewed my 1yr fixed rate bond with the same amount and asked for the interest off last years to be paid into my bank and it was done immediately. Brilliant service.

For your eyes only

I have been investing through Raisin for a good number of years. Initially I thought the rates they were offering with institutions I had never heard of were too good to be true. But the firm is totally reliable providing market leading investments fully protected by the UK FSCS. The funding arrangements are very straightforward as are those for withdrawal. If you're in the mood to make more of your savings I thoroughly recommend Raisin. *5

Easy transfer

After funds matured in my old account, the money was quickly transferred to a new account which I had opened. As the new account was with the same company as the old account, it probably made the transfer easier.

Raisin works as the middle man to put…

Raisin works as the middle man to put your money in high interest savings accounts. The two things required for this type of service is good suggestions for high interest savings accounts, and a reliable, trustworthy way to deposit your money. The latter had been true for my experience up until a couple of days ago, when the money that was in my holding account (available balance) disappeared. I don’t know whether I have now lost this money, and it was a fairly considerable amount in there. So not great if you want a stress free banking experience.

To reassure you, any money held in your Raisin UK Transaction Account (available balance) will only move in one of two ways: either it is transferred to a savings product that you’ve applied for, or it is withdrawn by the account holder to their nominated bank account.

If a savings product application is placed, the funds are moved from the Transaction Account to the selected savings product. During this process, they may no longer show as an available balance and will instead appear under the relevant savings account, usually within one business day (and up to two business days in some cases).

Information on how to view your balances and track where funds are held can be found in the Help & FAQ section of our website. If you’re unsure where your funds are currently located, our Customer Service team will be happy to help you navigate your account and confirm this for you.

You can contact us by phone on 0161 388 2399 (Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm, excluding Bank Holidays), or by sending a secure message from your Raisin UK Account. Alternatively, if you’d prefer, you can share further details with us privately via Trustpilot and we can look into this for you.

DO NOT USE. SCAM!

I have given Raisin UK 1 star as I invested 1k with them in September 2025 and this amount made NO INTEREST so it was all withdrawn February 2026. Absolutely rubbish!! I received no interest at all from them but I doubt that they didnt gain any from me!

Raisin UK is a savings marketplace. Customers first choose a savings product from the range available on our platform. Once a product is selected, customers then transfer funds into the Raisin UK Transaction Account, after which the funds are forwarded to the chosen savings product. Interest starts accruing only once the savings product has been successfully opened and funded.

From our records, it appears that no savings product was opened during the period you’ve mentioned. As a result, the funds remained in the Transaction Account and were later withdrawn without having accrued interest. Monthly Transaction Account statements are issued, and customers are also notified via email when funds are held without being invested. You can also monitor your savings products at any time by logging into your Raisin UK Account, where all active investments are displayed on your dashboard.

We understand this can be disappointing, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify. If you’d like us to review your account in more detail or need help opening a savings product in the future, our Customer Service team would be happy to assist.

No Joint Accounts

Very good rates. Good customer service. Easy to use.
Major downside is that you don't offer joint accounts like others (Flagstone). For our joint accounts we have to use other providers.

Amateur Response when there are Issues

Elderly mother's mobile phone number changed, impossible to register a new mobile number in her name. Fault #1.

Requested account to be closed, unable to proceed and instead closed down individual savings accounts. Fault #2.

Impossible to read emails as text font is infeasible small. Fault #3

Customer support response time unacceptably slow. Fault #4

Average savings rates offered before any issues encountered, which frequently reduce interest once you've taken out an account via them. Fault #5'

For security reasons, a Raisin UK Account is for the sole use of the account holder, so requests such as mobile number changes must be completed and verified directly with the account holder before we can process them.

Regarding rates, customers can choose between fixed-term products and variable-rate products. Fixed-term products keep the agreed rate for the full term, while variable-rate products, such as Easy Access and Notice accounts, can increase or decrease in line with partner bank decisions, as set out in the product terms.

We also note your comments about email readability. If the text appears too small, please contact our Customer Service team and we can support you with accessible alternatives.

Regarding response times, upon review I can see that our Customer Service team responded to the enquiries within one business day. We are sorry this still did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate your feedback.

I have been investigated for money…

I have been investigated for money laundering and have found there to be a complete lack of communication. I am asked for documents. I provide them immediately. Then things go quiet before months later I am asked for more documents. Things go quiet again and I have never heard whether the matter has been settled. Not impressed!

The site is a great idea

The site is a great idea. There are lots of accounts to choose from at really competitive rates. Once you register with Raisin and choose the account that suits you best that is it, you dont have to apply to any other account when your account matures, just choose another that suits and raisin arrange it. I find some things hard to navigate online but it has been sorted quickly with great customer service.

Good if short transaction delays are acceptable.

It takes awhile to get comfortable with the delays in transfers of funds which aren't there with many accounts outside the platform and being confident that an instruction is being acted upon, as seeing "pending" actions in the app takes a bit of familiarity with looking in the right place. Rather than use the app I found the excellent email notifications more useful in providing reassurance that instructions were being acted on.
