We are disappointed with our seat assignment and are concerned that we paid for 1st Class tickets but did not get 1st Class seating. Thanks

Seat assignments are managed directly by the rail carrier's reservation system and are allocated based on availability and the carrier's own seating policies. As a distributor, Rail Europe does not control seat assignments and is unfortunately unable to change them once they have been issued.

After reviewing your booking, we can confirm that your tickets were issued in First Class, as clearly indicated on the tickets themselves. While we understand that certain seating locations may not always meet passengers' preferences, the seat assignment does not affect the class of travel purchased.

I loved the opportunity to enjoy the European nature but the time the train took in the trip was very long. The train arrived late and it was delayed on the departure of the second train. As result of this lateness, I missed my second train.
