Really good raised beds and great videos too
After doing some online checking I bought 3 large raised beds from Quickcrop - they seemed to be the best value and I am very pleased with them. I had a couple of questions which were answered quickly and as a new gardener I absolutely love the Quickcrop video tutorials on YouTube.

Efficient and good quality
Quick, efficient ordering and delivery. Raised bed 'hoop holders' work well.

Generally pleased with raised bed…
Generally pleased with raised bed timber quality but the screws included were inadequate. Much too short to attach the boards to the corners - had to purchase deck screws separately.

Very difficult to put together
Very difficult to put together. Should be only 3 sizes boards for height, width and length. But the boards sizes are all slightly different. So the end result has small gaps in places.

I ordered Mypex weed control membrane…
I ordered Mypex weed control membrane that I have bought from Quickcrop previously and was excellent. However this time I received an alternative product Oppotex, I was not consulted on this change. So dissatisfied with the customer service and the product substitution will certainly think twice about ordering from Quickcrop in future.

Quickcrop should not try selling live plants
I just took delivery of a large shipment of hothouse and vegetable plants and herbs from Quickcrop. Ordered on 27 February, so took 2 months. It took a lot longer than the website suggested, but I can forgive that. The big problem is that 70% of the plants are damaged beyond use.
The plants were placed on their side in large cardboard boxes with a bit of straw thrown around them. They were then sent by DHL across the country, no doubt moving from truck to warehouse to van.
The results are predictably disastrous. The boxes contain a jumble of badly damaged plants, soil and straw. It is laughable.
What I cant understand is how Quickcrop ever thought this might work as a mode of delivering plants, let alone delicate tomatoes and peppers etc.
Quickcrop do a fantastic job at marketing. But this isnt the first time they have screwed up in service for me. I dearly wish they would think a little less about marketing and a bit more about operational basics: how do I deliver plants alive to customers who have bought them within a reasonable timeframe.
I had a similar problem with them last year, when a smaller proportion of the plants delivered were damaged. But at least back then they tried to use a specialised plant carrying box. More fool me for trying them again.
If your experience will be anything like mine, you are wasting your time and money buying plants from Quickcrop.

Another raised bed
Another raised bed delivered, first one in 2020. Very happy with both. Easy to put together. Long delivery time in 2020, not surprisingly, but very quick delivery this time.

Three allotment planters.
The allotment planters, two 6 ft x 4 ft x 9 ins and one, 6 ft x 4 ft x 14 ins took a week to arrive.
On the day of delivery I was kept informed by e mail as to the progress of delivery, and the driver was very helpful, placing the packages where I anted them. When I offered help to carry them ,he was happy to carry them himself.
Watching the tutorial on the Quickcrop web site, I had an idea what to do to make them. The instructions are self explanatory.
A power drill makes the assembly very easy. Two people are needed to help in manoeuvring the beds into place.
Once one is made, it takes ten minutes maximum to make the next, with a three year old helping!!
Very satisfied, potatoes, shallots, onions, beetroot and lettuce already planted.
Very happy with the service, thankyou.

Not so sure I would order again...
Having watched the video about polytunnels - which was great I ordered the screws and washers.
Took 3 weeks to finally get my delivery - but Niall was prompt in responding to my emails and at sending this out on two occasions when I raised that the issue that I had not received my order.
However when I finally got my order it is not the product I had seen in the video - which is old and not up to date and even though the web describes the product, not being super technically I thought I was getting what I saw on the video.
Needless to say no returns and 3 weeks chasing to get the product, I could have just used screws at a fraction of the cost.
Postage costs are also extremely high.
You tube video's are great and super helpful.
